Excellent Blend of Old & New

The apartment was better than described. It was very spacious, well furnished and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was excellent and both Richard, the owner, and Chiara Fassone, on site were very responsive and helpful. We stayed for a month and found the location unbeatable. The apartment had been modernized but maintained much of its old world charm too. Laura, who cleaned the unit for us did an excellent job too. All in all, a wonderful experience and a residence, which we would book again.

Sanremo city week

Fabulous location, few steps from the Main Street and not far to the sea front. Apartment was very spacious and perfect for the 6 of us.

Best stay in a Vrbo property ever!

Everything about this apartment is perfect. The size, the beds, the service from Chiara and Richard. The location is fantastic. The building is beautiful. Everything is near, restaurants, shopping, groceries, the local market, the marina. We had an wonderful time in San Remo and this apartment made our stay even better. We will be back and we recommend this property to everybody who wants to enjoy San Remo. Thanks

Centric huge appartment

The apartment was in a great location, close to everything from restaurants, shops, bycicle rentals and the beach!!! It was very confortable and perfect for our 7 people family group, including a baby!! It has everything you need! We would definitely recomend!!! Thank you Chiara and Rosalba for all your help!

Big, clean, convenient

✔ Location ★★★★★ Hard to beat: Literally only a few steps from the pedestrian bustle of Matteoti and just a few more to the waterfront, the Mercato, the Pigna or the casino. Mini-Carrefour one block south. Yet apartment is QUIET - no street noise apart from occasional sirens. ✔ Cleanliness ★★★★★ Property was spotless and well provisioned with essentials to keep it that way. ✔ Kitchen, other amenities ★★★★ No Nespresso :-( but otherwise a very well-equipped kitchen for complete self-catering especially with San Remo's terrific daily central mercato just up the road. Also provided: beach towels and multi-lingual subscription on living room's big-screen TV (we couldn't get the one bedroom TV to work). Elevator works well. RICHARD - ***The Wifi is horrendously feeble*** - it could use an update or booster. Also, wouldn't hurt to junk that decrepit moka and substitute a new Bialetti. ✔ Property Space & Character ★★★★★ Pleasantly spacious. A typical early 20th C. 4th floor upscale urban apartment recently Ikea-ized into a 21st C. beach ambience property (white on white with bright accents). Two full baths, one with tub, though neither en-suite. Classic Italian period floorplan: oversized {useless} foyer and kitchen exiled to remote rear corner, far from dining room. Original terrazzo floors preserved throughout. ✔ Air conditioning ★★★★★ Split system with remote-controlled units in all rooms except bathrooms. Worked very well -- a pleasure to return to after a day in coastal August heat. As happens with retrofitted AC, blasting units make balcony less than welcoming (not an issue, balcony faces inward, has no pleasing view). ✔ Parking ★★★ Recommended garage was ok but pricey and 0.5 km away. Worth exploring alternatives. ✔ Hosting ★★★★★ Chiara was great: Helpful beforehand via Whatsapp, greeted us in person with snacks and spot-on tips for restaurants and beaches and was available during the stay via WhatsApp. Bottom line: Very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to return for another stay.

Wonderful Location / Fantastic Apartment

The location of this apartment is perfect! You step out the door and you are metres away from the main pedestrian shopping mall, restaurants, and the ocean. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfortable. The size of the apartment is luxurious! We were 5 adults and never felt cramped. The apartment itself is very well maintained and was very clean on arrival. Everything you could possibly need is provided. We would definitely stay here again.
