We Love Sanibel & Pine Cove! This unit could use a little Tlc

We had a fabulous time staying in unit at Pine Cove. The location is amazing, the pool and beach access is perfect. We stayed in a much nicer unit in the Sundial on Sanibel last year, but the location of this condo is 1 million times better. The unit itself, though, could use a little TLC but the furniture was comfortable despite being well worn & stained. The walls are scuffed and stained as well, most wall hangings, pillows, decor were askew/disorganized. We had 1 regular pillow on a king size bed (thankfully we brought our own pillows). There was only 1 extra roll of 1 ply toilet paper beyond the half rolls left behind, and 5 total bath towels in the unit. For the price tag we just expected better from the property management company, but we had an amazing time nonetheless, and plan to rent from the same building again, just will do so in a different unit.

Beautiful beach/pool front Condo on Sanibel Island

The 3/2 property was wonderful, but unfortunately half of our party could not join us due to illness. We will book again as this property fits our family perfectly.

The condo was great but the beach not so much. The path was overgrown to many rules

This is not kid friendly as the pool closes at dusk, no pool toys allowed, no drinks or food at the pool. The beach access was overgrown and the beach itself wasn’t nice. Adults took over the 3 ft area leaving a 3 and 4 year old floating in 6ft area just to be in the pool. The entire property is smoke free so we had to leave or walk to the street to smoke. Rather than just be at the condo with multiple rules we would leave and pay for parking at other locations. This is a great place for older folks but not for a family with kids. Each morning the place filled with contractors, maintenance for the pool and shower and painters. So saws, grinders and extension cords spread across the lot daily. Makes for a long night when the kids want to enjoy a pool at night but it’s closed at dusk! Honestly, this should have been a dream location and vacation instead turned into over $200 in additional parking just to enjoy a beach!

General supplies should be stocked

What a great condo! My only complaint is that I think they should supply more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. It was just a little annoying to have to go by eight rolls of paper when we only needed one. But honestly that’s my only complaint. This place is incredible!

We loved our view overlooking the gorgeous pool area and ocean. Open concept was great and very user friendly kitchen and bar.

Great location!

Pine Cove 102 was an excellent location! Great beach access and the pool was never crowded. The beach was pretty empty, also. However, the pool was often full of pine needles and bugs. Make sure to bring your own paper products (tissues, TP, etc) and spray cleaner for spills. It was very quiet and peaceful!

Loved the unit, location, etc. unit could have been cleaner. Windows and tables dirty. Problem with showers draining. Pool was dirty. Other than that a great stay.

Sensational Sanibel Island

My family has stayed at many location properties on Sanibel Island and this property was our favorite. We prefer to stay mid-Island locations so this property fits the bill. The property is exactly as pictured and more lovely in person. It was a great fit for our family. We were impressed by the property management company and the manner in which we found the property upon arrival. We had groceries delivered from Baileys and I tend to order hand soap, tissues, extra cleaning supplies and hygiene paper products because there is usually never enough in a condo rental. Well, this may seem little, but the little things count, there was plenty of hand soap, towels, cleaning supplies, etc. The property was well stocked with games, kitchen items and any needs. I have not found this to be so with most condos, however, this condo did not really miss any must haves. It was obvious the owners , property managers care about the property and their guest. We felt welcomed on the property as paying guest and that our patronage was a positive experience. The property was easy access to all areas of the Island. I only wish the property had chairs placed beach side daily saving visitors carrying the items back and forth. I understand larger condo facilities can do this more easily. This is a quiet property and as stated on rental information noise does travel, so if you happen to be a louder later in the evening the noise may carry and be disruptive to other guest. This was not a problem for us on this vacation, but it may not be a good fit with larger group vacations. I would rent this property again. I am sad that my great review will make it wayyyy to popular and I cannot obtain a rental again:) This is truly a great rental experience and I wish more property owners would do business in this manner. Sanibel Island is a bit of heaven on earth and so is this property.

Week in Paradise

Thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation to Sanibel. First time staying at Pine Cove and was not disappointed. It was absolutely beautiful, very clean with great views of the ocean. Loved the spaciousness of the condo and was decorated very beautifully! Would highly recommend for anyone spending time in Sanibel.
