    The spacious floor plan offers 1,325 square feet of total living area just steps from Sanibel’s world class beaches. They made a special effort to find an alternative condo when our original booking’s construction was not complete. They were also very responsive to requests to add items not in the condo (cooking pot, beach chair, blanket) and repair the towel bar.Unit was remodeled post Ian and furniture was good, beds were great, kitchen was good but equipped just so so.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being natives of Indiana, we lacked a clear understanding of the magnitude of Hurricane Ian's damage to Sanibel Island. And our desire to return to one of our favorite vacation destinations compelled us to pursue a visit as soon as we were permitted.Two years after the devastation inflicted by Ian, our trip proved to be far from disappointing. And our stay at Loggerhead Cay #474 was a big factor in that satisfaction.We were very pleased with Unit #474, especially after knowing of the efforts required to bring it back to service for occupancy. As first time renters after two years, there were some details that needed tweaked, but the rental staff was very accommodating in meeting our needs. The Sanibel community is still heavily engage in rebuliding, and will be for a long time, but we were glad to be back.
