"The house was very nice inside. The neighboring houses are condemned. Getting a trailer in and out of the drive was a challenge as the drive is narrow and the train bridge obstructs view of the road. The property is located next to train tracks and trains entering the tunnel sound the horn at all hours. The trains are loud coal trains that run frequently. "The home was very clean. The kitchen had all the cookware and extras that we could have needed. No limitation on cook tools, utensils, bedding. The bed was a nice firm bed. The back yard was very pretty, the Peonies were in bloom. Thanks to the fence it was a great place for our dogs to run around in. As in all lush environments around water, there were a few sprigs of poison ivy on the fence line and the wood pile, but they were easily covered with a piece of firewood."

"We’ve been coming to HMT for about 6 years. The house was great. Clean. Well maintained. Host was readily available for any and all questions. Self check in. Love the central location between all of our normal trails. I gave it a 4 star over all because although it had free wifi there was no cellular service. For some of our crew it was difficult to keep in touch with family. The other issue was the couches were too low for our crew. I know they change to beds but sitting in them was difficult...
