While this property might be good for younger people, as people in our seventies with mobility issues, the three flights of stairs to the condo were very challenging. Also, in large print, the description said it was air conditioned, but as we found out after arrival and reading the small print in the body of the email, there was only a window air conditioner in the bedroom. If you want any kind of air in the rest of the condo, you have to put a fan in the doorway of the bedroom to blow air out into the living area. It was in the 90's while we were there and the air hadn't been turned on prior to our arrival, so it was extremely hot. Also, the fan needed cleaned very badly.
The bathroom was probably our worst issue. The commode was very difficult to flush. We had to take the lid off and lift up on the handle because it was very hard to flush and we were afraid we were going to break it. There were brown spots on the throw rug in the bathroom. It was either mud or feces. I don't know which, but it should have been cleaned before our arrival.
The tvs are very small by today's standards. They're flat screens, but very small. We didn't watch them because of how small they were. We left after one night and to the owner's credit, we were offered a replacement night in the Fall as compensation, but we just couldn't navigate all those stairs again so we declined. VRBO did refund one night's payment back to us, which they didn't have to do, so we are grateful.
In short, this place would be okay for young couples who have no mobility issues and if traveling in any season except summer.
