Great family home

Super quiet neighborhood with a beautiful yard and plenty of games to keep kids occupied. We only had one child in our group, but I can imagine if you had more they would take advantage of the games. It got us grown-ups out there some on our last day there when the weather was beautiful. Heather was very responsive. We had minor issues that did not impact our overall stay (i e - couldn't find projecter remote so we just watched a movie on one of the big TVs upstairs). I would stay here again during a warmer time of year if I needed to be in the area. It is a large house that had more than our group of 4 needed and would be perfect for a large, young family.

Wonderful Stay in Richmond

What a great house and hostess. We stayed at this property with our family and loved it. The house was clean, comfortable, fun and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a great Thanksgiving with our family, enjoyed the playroom, firepit and our little dog loved running around the yard. The hostess was excellent with communication. We can’t wait to return to this great house!

Sandston retreat

The house was perfect for our needs. Our dogs felt like they had an entire dog park to themselves with the huge fenced in yard. Location was perfect for everyone to easily get to work and school.

Perfect Stay

The house was beautiful, fully equipped with everything, and the jacuzzi a definite plus!! It was quiet and peaceful after having to bury a younger sister from cancer. Thank you so much.

Great getaway

Met up with some friends from way back for a long weekend. We enjoyed the property. The game room and hot tub was the reason why it worked for us. Definitely will do it again.

Great place to stay

We had family coming from Reno Nevada, Milwaukee Wisconsin and Dallas Texas to attend a wedding. It was so nice being able to all stay together. Having the game room was nice for the young adults to have a place to hang out and stay up while the older adults could have a bit more quite time in the house. My 4 year old grandson could be put to bed upstairs in a room with light up beds! He loved them. - Everything was clean and all our needs were met/exceeded. We highly recommend staying here when in the Richmond VA area.

Spacious, nice place!

House was great! Nice and spacious. The lawn was massive and fenced in so it was pretty private. The deer were an added bonus to see. The house owners were extremely responsive and helpful! Will stay again.

Nice property

This is a nice house with a big fenced in yard. Great if you’re bringing pets. I was caught off guard by all the video cameras. There were a total of 6 which seemed excessive for this area. None of them were mentioned in the listing. They made me extremely uncomfortable and I spent most of the time inside because of them. Instead of privacy we felt like we were being watched. I also contacted the host several times 3 days prior to check in, but didn’t get a response until 4 hours before check in.

A Diamond in the Rough

My family and I visit our relatives in Virginia several times a year. We normally stay in a hotel but our new addition to the family is a barker so that was not going to work. We have rented many other homes in the past but this was the first in Richmond. It truly did not disappoint. The description and amenities were as stated with several personal touches which made our stay more enjoyable. Upon arrival, the property manager Heather texted to say that she was available should we need anything. The home is well situated on a corner lot with plenty of rooms including an office should work become necessary. For those with children and/or pets, the extra large fenced in backyard and garage/game room made this place exceptional. There is ample room for both to run around and play without disturbing anyone. It even has a basketball hoop where my brother-in-law enjoyed reliving his glory days. All in all, this place served our needs perfectly. I gave it four stars for cleanliness but doubt this will be a problem in the future. It was a new rental and as with all things there are a few kinks to work out until you find that right fit. In a time where customer service seems to be waning, it was comforting to know someone was available and cared. I have no doubt that Heather will ensure that all is in great shape for in the future. She deserves more than 5 stars for her customer service.
