We were instantly charmed by this beautiful cottage just looking at it from the outside. It was easy getting in with the code provided. The family room area seems even more spacious in person. Such a cozy vibe and warm colors everywhere. Everything is provided in the kitchen and bathroom if you forget anything. We used the new play pin for our 11 month old. Easy assembly and access. We slept in the king bed which was like falling into a cloud. My family and created some great memories here playing games and cooking inside as well as fun with the neighbors outside. It’s also a quick drive up to Schweitzer which we seized the opportunity and picked 3 gallons of huckleberries. We would definitely come back here again.

Perfect cottage getaway

Rented the cottage for overflow from our daughters wedding. The location was perfect for us and the cottage was new, very cute, and well appointed! Would recommend to anyone coming to Sandpoint, located nicely in-between Schweitzer as well as the downtown area.

Sandpoint Summer Family Vacay

Stunning cottage! Honestly felt like we were staying with close family. Everything they could think of to make the home feel modern, cozy and convenient was provided. Probably the nicest we have stayed in with a wonderful kitchen, cozy soft beds, pillows and linens and everything you could possibly need throughout your stay. The area is a little industrial but still felt very safe, quiet and close to everything we needed. Monica was such a pleasure to communicate with and created the most welcoming information package and gift basket. We had a family of 4, made the drive up from Alberta, Canada and enjoyed our first visit to Sandpoint. Silverwood theme park was less than 30 minutes away, a nice drive.

Amazing Cottage!!!

Family camping at Riley Creek nearby and my Aunt (72), Cousin (52), and myself, (55) stayed at this cottage instead of a tent 🙂 This place was beautiful. Comfortable beds, A/C worked great in 100 degrees, very clean, great amenities down to beach bags/towels/kids beach toys, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and was super cute! Hosts thought of everything to make your stay great! While we commuted every day and spent most our time at the campground, am very familiar with area, so cottage is very well located...basically a mile to everything...and if you dont know Sandpoint, such a cute town with tons of summer stuff to do for adults and families. Limited parking which is fully disclosed, suggestion to mark parking space in front of unit. I have done several VRBO rentals and this one was top notch!

Wonderful Mini Adventure

We came from Canada for a short visit to explore Sandpoint and take the kids to Silverwood. The cottage was an excellent choice - it was clean, extremely comfortable and close to everything we wanted to explore. Monica was extremely helpful and more than happy to answer any questions. All of the information you would ever need was provided before arriving and everything was exactly as pictured and discussed in the listing. We will definitely be back to stay - the family has plans to return in the winter for a visit to the ski resort. Thanks for a wonderful mini getaway!

Great physical unit; noise a bit of an issue

New; super clean; well appointed; great having a hose out front to wash off mountain bikes; Monica so easy to work with. But there are train tracks 1/4 mile away and even with background white noise machines, I still heard the trains during the night ( we were aware of tracks nearby before booking). Also the exterior hvac unit, just outside the master bedroom makes a constant humming, audible noise

Girl gang goes to Sandpoint!

The cottage was exactly as pictured…adorable, clean, well appointed, and cozy. We loved spending evenings on the porch blowing bubbles and relaxing after spending the days at city beach. The lake and park are top notch, and my 2 year old granddaughter had the best time!

Amazing property

We have stayed at many VRBO's and found this property to be one of the best. The owners thought of everything even if you forgot to pack your toothbrush. Very well appointed inside and out. A little to for to walk to town and only one parking spot in front of the property but both those issues don't take away from this property at all. We would book this place again.

TEN STARS! Fabulous Cottage

From the moment we arrived we saw that the cottage was just as picture perfect as it showed on the website! We were pleasantly surprised that the touches inside and out went above and beyond our expectations. Spotlessly cleaned, very well appointed with anything we could ever wish for, and super communication with our hosts, we are definitely giving 10 Stars! 5 stars is not enough. Great house!

We loved our stay in the Carpenter Cottage! It was perfect for our trip to Sandpoint. Having the access to bicycles was great for our family of 3! We rode them every day to explore a little more of Sandpoint.

Lovely stay in a lovely, quaint town. Everything was thought of with our cottage and amenities. We did not want for anything, and had some help when our luggage was lost the first day. Thank you to our hosts for providing such a nice place for our home away from home.

Fabulous place!

This is a super rental in beautiful Sandpoint. Every detail was anticipated and the cottage is well stocked with everything we needed, including sand toys, beach towels, extra blankets and pillows, etc. The linens and towels are high quality, and the kitchen has it all! Great communication with owners. Great place to stay. We'll be back!

Great cottage

We really enjoyed the cottage itself, it's very clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. The beds and sheets were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you'd need. It's convenient to get to the grocery store, downtown and the ski mountain. The one thing we didn't like very much was that we really noticed the road and and train noise from the nearby busy road and railway tracks.

Very cozy cottage

Super clean and very nice cottage, comfortable, with attention to every detail and everything you think you will need. Close to downtown and very close to Schweitzer. Definitely recommend it. A five-star stay and a definite come back!
