A beautiful character full house with all the imaginable amenities except for one - no aircon! We stayed at the middle of heat wave when temperatures reached 40 degrees and staying in the house was unbearable. Next day however the temperatures dropped to normal and we enjoyed it once again

Nice & Quiet but Close to Everything

Really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet and surrounded by greenery. Great proximity to Hyams Beach, Green Patch & Husky yet feel a million miles away. Large, secure backyard was great for dogs.

Charming and clean property

We had a fantastic weekend at Jan's retreat. The property was tastefully decorated and very clean. Lots of nice touches around the place like plenty of pantry essentials and a range of books as well as local guidebooks. Didn't get a chance to spend time in the garden but it looked like a great space and our dogs enjoyed it. Only downside were the beds which weren't super comfortable. FYI - you will need a car to get to the local places of interest - only local parks and the general store are in walking distance.

Lovely venue

Good location peaceful stay

This property was great it had a well equiped kitchen & everything you need to enjoy a weekend or holiday, it was very peaceful had a nice water view from the lounge room. Furnished beach style. Comfy beds lounge room & good showers. Gardens were a bit overgrown very bushy. A blue tooth speaker would be good to play music through. We would stay again & recommend it to friends & family.

Great time!

Great central location to nearby towns, close to nearby fantastic beaches and gluten friendly eateries (fish and chip store in Vincentia was great for a coeliac!) The property was very clean and was perfect for relaxing. Pet friendly, however we took our dog everywhere with us or took her to doggy daycare for the day that we visited the national parks so we never left her alone and always supervised her outside due to the wildlife (possums, large and beautiful python in the tree out the back as well as our pups habits of getting into shrubbery in regards to tics as warned about on Jan's ad) The town was lovely and peaceful, everyone friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

One of the best places to Visit if you are on a trip with your family.

The room downstairs is the most convenient if you have older people in the visit. Short walk from the beach, Cozy and good place for a stay.

Perfect

Clean, spacious and perfect home away from home situated in quiet peaceful location. Host was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Home well equipped with essentials and extras to make our stay easy & enjoyable. We loved the fireplace & peaceful, leafy balcony. Kids loved the piano! Overall 5 star experience & excellent customer service from the host. Will definitely be back

Great location

We stayed at Jans retreat for a family weekend. Unfortunately the weather was unkind to us the entire weekend so we didn't get to explore the area as much as we would have liked to. The house was big enough for the 4 of us, there was a wood fire heater which was great for this type of weekend however, the spare firewood was left in the rain and there was only a small amount inside. Other than that there was plenty of things to available in the house to keep us entertained on a wet weekend. Thanks

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, and the teens managed to amuse themselves with the dvds and games on offer. Sadly, Booderee was closed due to recent storms. Erowal Bay is also a lovely spot, but it’s a shame that access to the waterfront is limited, with properties right to the shoreline.

Outstanding!

Excellent property in great location. Clean, quiet, convenient to beaches and services as well as key areas in the region – Exceeded our expectations. Very well equipped and with thoughtful inclusions. The layout and beautiful enclosed yard/garden are perfect for a little family and dog. This was an excellent place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Returning visitor

We have stayed here several times and we are never disappointed. The house is clean, modern and has everything you need. The living and sleeping spaces are comfortable. Broad range of DVDs to select from and huge screen TV. Great place to stay. AAA++++

Beautiful view

This property had a gorgeous view of the bay from the front deck. Inside was neat and tidy. The bird life was amazing can't believe how friendly the parrots were! The property manager was easy to contact and lovely to deal with. Thank you for a lovely getaway.
