Our stay at Les Hauts de Sancerre was nothing short of magical! The room was beyond words, absolutely stunning, beautifully appointed, and even more incredible than we could have imagined. The views were simply breathtaking, offering the most picturesque setting and making every moment feel special. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality were remarkable. This was truly one of the most beautiful and memorable places we have ever stayed. We cannot recommend Les Hauts de Sancerre enough and would return in a heartbeat!

Hotel is a real chateau/palace.Majestic view overlooking vineyard country.very few guestrooms so it is a very private/boutique hotel.rented bikes from the hotel and had a fabulous day biiing through the countryside.

Oh my God, this place was incredible. Honestly. I perched on top of the entire village, best views for miles and miles. Stunning landscape and pure joy of a town. But it's my style. It was quiet but delicious and so fun.

Beautiful boutique hotel perched above Sancerre village and the surrounding Loire valley. Stunning rooms, service and garden. And all connected to the Sancerre village so easy walk to restaurants and wine tastings

Good location, staff very friendly and able to listening with the exception of one person at the reception when arriving and pushing larger room against a fee and locking in a reservation for restaurant the next day, when we advised to have a look at the menu first. Pushy. Large bathroom was unheated as there was only one small wall heater not to be able to turn on manually. While checking out only we were told they can heat the bathroom only from their computer system. With overnight temperatures of around 4 degrees outside, one might expect a first class hotel would automatically put the heating on in the bathroom once the clients have checked in.

An incredibly beautiful location, view and place to stay. Everything was perfect from the welcoming staff to the elegant room. I took the time for a massage at the spa and they were wonderful about helping with restaurant bookings and wine tasting recommendations. Well done!

Beautiful property with stunning views over the valley. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this incredible "hotel"at top the hill in Sancerre. The staff were amazing. Very helpful, accommodating & created a wonderful environment. The rooms are spacious, serene, inclusive of everything you would need & the views are spectacular. We had an outstanding dinner at Arnaud's the hotel's restaurant. I highly recommend Les Haut de Sancerre to anyone traveling to the Loire Valley & would like to experience a high end quality hotel in a smaller section of the Loire Valley.

Amazing stay in this hotel, staying for two nights in their Junior Suite. Hotel is exceptional, building renovated to a modern standard with architectural and designer items everywhere, inc stunning furniture and quality products throughout. Grounds are lovely with the hotel perched on the top of Sancerre, overlooking the town and the Loire. You can also get access to the Tour des Fiefs tower which is in the grounds. Our room was spacious, well designed and quality throughout. Breakfast was good but I think they could refine and improve the offering, offering small fruit salads and some other pre-prepared items. We had dinner at the hotel for one evening during a special week with the chef and his father cooking, this was well worth it. They are expanding with some new rooms and adding a pool and have plenty of parking. We were staying on our honeymoon and it would have been nice to have had something small in the room to acknowledge this, but do appreciate this is a cost to them. I'd recommend and if we are in the area again I would stay, would like to see their new tower room and pool.
