We enjoyed our stay at this property as the house was very clean and very well stocked. I want to emphasize that it is stocked above and beyond! We found the location to be quite convenient: close to shops, restaurants, freeway, etc. yet it is a quiet neighborhood. You can walk to town by going down the hill with 200 steep steps. Great exercise, especially going up!The only negative for us was the queen mattress and the pillows in the master bedroom. They are very firm! And the mattress seems to slop to the edges. We did not have a good night sleep as a result. However, the guest in the other bedroom was happy with their bed. The yard is convenient arranged although our dog was confused about the lack of grass but it is on her, not the host lol The perimeter was very well secured to prevent any possibility of escaping. We really appreciate this detail. Thank you for hosting our family!

We loved our stay at the Wine Down Cottage in Cambria!Great house with a nice big yard for the kids to play in. A hot tub for evening relaxation. A very short drive, or longer walk down the hill into town, and a very lovely home perfect for our family of four. The hosts were also very helpful leading up to and during our stay, very responsive to any questions we had. We look forward to going back!

We loved our stay at Wine Down Cottage. The online pictures do not do justice to the brightness of this home as you walk through the door, windows everywhere. It was obvious that a lot of thought was put into making guests feel relaxed and comfortable. Everything was immaculate and there were so many nice touches, i.e. a Keurig with assorted pods, spices, dinnerware, small appliances, comfortable beds, you name it. Large fenced in yard was perfect for our boxer dog and we spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub. Diane was very communicative and timely with her responses. We'll tell our friends about this one!

We had a great stay at this lovely home in Cambria! The location was perfect—centrally located and close to everything. The house itself was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the spacious backyard and the private side yard with the jacuzzi—such a relaxing touch.The only downside was that the outdoor furniture was quite dirty, and some was ripped which made it less enjoyable to sit outside and take in the beautiful surroundings. A quick refresh of the outdoor seating would make this place just about perfect!Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I will keep this very short. Awesome location for the area. Great communication with the owner at anytime before and during the stay. Really nice, comfy cottage. Perfect for two and would be very comfortable and just right for up to four people. Very dog friendly.

This property is beautifully maintained both inside and out and stocked with all the amenities a guest could want or need. Located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes'drive from the Fiscalini preserve and downtown Cambria. The backyard is huge and though we did not use the wood burning firepit, it was all set up with firewood and kindling just ready for a match. The home is attractively decorated in a cute cottage decor, spotlessly clean and has a fully stocked kitchen including coffee and creamer. The bed and pillows in the primary suite were very comfortable. There was just two of us this trip but the home could comfortably house a larger group. Diane is a responsive host who easily accommodated my special request regarding allergies. I highly recommend Wine Down Cottage for a great stay in Cambria!

The home was not lacking in all necessities and in addition had good landscaping, spacious back yard with fire pit. Close proximity to Cambria Pines hotel and restaurant. The only negative was the uncleared plates for which the host was embarrassed because her cleaning person had recently experienced a family tragedy and my bed dipped where many others had slept before. Even so, the place provides a superior environment to spend several days.

We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed the back yard . Very relaxing. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. In the evening we relaxed and watched TV. The beds we so comfy. The only thing we didn't care for was the firestation next door was fairly noisey, not all the time, but occasionally. Not enough that we would not stay there again.

The town and house was perfect. The yard being gated was a great peace of mind for our kids playing outside. Any questions or conversations were replied to very fast. Very clean and beautiful. Having it so close to everything made planning our days easier and more efficient. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect! Everything we could have wanted was there at the house. The owners made the extra effort to consider every need (or want) of a potential renter. All the spices needed for meal preparation were provided. We used the clean gas grill, sat at the fire pit on the cool evenings, and soaked in the hot tub. The location is perfect and comfortably fit our oversized truck in the driveway. It is conveniently located near downtown and the beach. We plan on staying longer next time!

We came to Cambria, having never stayed here before. We enjoyed the town including several restaurants and loved the cottage. It was so comfortable from the minute we walked in - nicely decorated and well appointed. I'd say the only negative was the cool weather which kept us from enjoying the firepit and outdoor seating as much as we wanted to. We definitely would love to return to the Wine Down Cottage. This was our second time at the lovely Wine Down cottage. It was even better than i remembered from the last time. We stay in Cambria for a month. This time, our adult children and their partners came to visit for a week(2 stayed at the Cambria Pine Lodge across the street from the cottage. It was very convenient). Because the "kids" came to the house, we all used the many amenities that Diane and Ralph provide for their guests. We had a fire in the fire pit, soaked in the relaxing hot tub, and played bags(corn hole). We also had our dogs with us. They very much approve of the large, securely fenced yard. The cottage is fully updated and filled with light. It has an open floor plan that is very convenient for visiting with our family. The house is immaculate. The kitchen is fully stocked with every convenience, the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are beautifully appointed. Diane and Ralph were very quick to respond to any questions we had. They are excellent hosts! If they allow us, we would love to stay at the Wine Down Cottage on our next trip to Cambria.

We loved this cottage in Cambria, it was extremely clean & the backyard grill & hot tub very were nice features. The best thing about it was the kitchen; which was the best provisioned I have ever seen in a VRBO. We enjoyed cooking & hanging out while also exploring the Cambria & San Simeon. The owner was easy to communicate with; all and all a wonderful stay.
