Excelentes bungalows en una de las mejores playas de El Salvador

La estadía es muy bien, la playa esta muy bonita y los bungalows esta en muy buenas condiciones, Vilma una excelente anfitriona y Daniel una persona muy amable y servicial.

This was by far one of the most amazing gorgeous places I have ever stayed in the entire world. There was nothing better than waking up to the sound of the ocean, and also going to sleep to it too. The hostess and her assistant were so wonderful. Breakfast was kindly prepared every single morning with such love and care. They also prepared coffee and juice for us. We went to the beach every day and it was so serene. We had the entire beach to ourselves. Worth every single penny!!

Bats and spiders; felt unsafe....This place has an amazing view and access to an incredible private beach. The hosts were attentive and kind. The grounds and rooms however are not well maintained. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay due to safety concerns sleeping in the room. We first found a huge spider on the wall just above the bed and then were startled by a bat that flew from just beside the bed up to the ceiling above the bathroom.

The most picturesque location with truly exceptional hosts. Vilma went above and beyond when my husband and I became ill, preparing natural remedies and bringing coconut water—her kindness will never be forgotten. José was also wonderful, always assisting with luggage, breakfast delivery, and anything we needed.The bungalows offer breathtaking ocean views, constant sounds of crashing waves, stunning sunsets, and the joy of being just steps from the beach. Breakfast served on our terrace each morning was a lovely touch. The pool, while small, was clean and refreshing.This property has incredible potential to be 5-star. For longer stays, we found the beds and pillows quite uncomfortable, the showers are cold, and storage limited with no drawers or closet space. As international travelers, these comforts matter, especially for week-long stays. We also experienced large ants in the bungalow at night—part of nature, perhaps, but worth noting. José did their best to help.There are many stairs from the parking area to the bungalows, so guests should be comfortable navigating stairs. We would have loved loungers by the pool or on the terrace, as well as beach/pool towels. Some general maintenance and fresh paint would elevate the already beautiful grounds.Overall, we’d recommend this property for shorter stays or travelers who prioritize scenery and hospitality over comfort. With a few upgrades—especially beds, pillows, and loungers—this place could truly shine.

Vilma is such an amazing host and person. Jose was so helpful and accommodating. My husband and I had an amazing week at this lovely location with its private beach and great people. We could not have been treated better and are looking forward to returning next year with friends and family.

Beautiful! What an amazing stay. It’s a safe and gated location, with private beach, very attentive host. Whenever we left we eagerly came back - the sandy beach is a rarity in the area, and the bay offers protection from currents making it great for kids. We’ll be back!!

Beach hideaway

If you’re looking for some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect location. Private beach access, stunning views and great accommodations. Wake up and fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves. Enjoy poolside views of the ocean. This was the perfect spot for a chill vacation. Vilma is an exceptional host. She arranged transportation to and from the airport. (45USD) The daily breakfasts were beautifully prepared and filling.Wi-fi can be a little spotty and there’s not much activity in the immediate area. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance.

Wonderful Peaceful Place

This was an amazing vacation for us. The host, Vilma, was incredibly nice and very helpful. You can tell she cared about how our stay was going. We felt at home here. The breakfast provided each day was delicious and filling. I have no words to describe the view except beautiful, and the sound of the waves was very relaxing for us. Vilma provided recommendations for food and fun, and we had a blast. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. I highly recommend this location.

Disappointing is an understatement

Other reviews stating renovations are needed, are an understatement. The location is lovely, and the main pool beside Vilma's house was maintained well, but that's where the good ended. The images online show a pool down on the beach.The pool is there but there is no water in it, only sand and garbage.

True bed 'n breakfast in a spectacular location

The accommodations were spartan (no hot water) and a bit rough around the edges. But the temperature was in the low 90's the entire week, and so.. a cold shower was in some instances not only tolerable, but necessary to avoid heat exhaustion! Lol. The location was spectacular and Vilma's full breakfasts were delicious! We enjoyed both traditional Salvadoran foods (frijoles, fried sweet plantains, huevos rancheros and fresh local fruits, papaya, mango, watermelon & cantaloupe) and what Vilma termed an "American breakfast" that included scrambled eggs, bacon, french toast with bananas and blueberries.. plus the ever-present sweet plantains!Vilma was instrumental in arranging a driver to bring us to her place and back to the airport (45 each way). And she also arranged for us to rent a small car (Kia Soul) from a local guy for two days (30 per day) that enabled us to meet up with friends in Ataco.Beto's Restaurant was conveniently only a short walk away, and we dined there three of the seven nights of our stay. Note: a 10% gratuity in included in the bill, but you are free to tip your individual server in addition. They were always very grateful.All in all, we think our stay at a "Small Hideaway on a Romantic small Private Beach with Exquisite Views" was well worth the price!

Wonderful!

My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Vilma’s secret hideaway! The location was superb! The breakfasts were delicious! The best part was the thoughtfulness from both Vilma and Jose. We stayed for a week and couldn’t have been happier with this gem and the gracious hosts! We will be back!

Beach escape

We had a fabulous time at Vilma’s beautiful clifside property! There was a slice of beach with great water for wading or wave surfing, and a lovely pool with plenty of shade. Our room was the perfect size for the three of us—my partner and daughter—with a kitchen to prepare meals. We loved the breakfasts!!! José took great care of us too. Wonderful people and super chill vibe. Also the location was fantastic, not far from the city, close to restaurants and busier beaches. Would return for sure!

Location, Location, Location

Is it a bit rough around the edges... yes BUT, if it were not... you'd be paying a whole lot more. The location is fantastic, the beach incredible! The host Vilma is extremely accommodating and the place is clean. All considered, it's a beautiful spot.

Hidden Gem

We had a great stay. Ms. Vilma was a warm host and was quick to respond any questions we had. We stayed in a little hut that was very beautiful, breathtaking, and relaxing. There are nice restaurants in the area. Ms.Vilma was so sweet she served us with her home cooked typical salvadorian breakfast, it was delicious. We cant wait to go back.

The most romantic experience of your life!

Second time staying on the property and just as memorable! Vilma is an amazing hostess. Incredibly accommodating with the most romantic setting anyone could ask for. A private beach that can’t be reached by anyone even at low tide from the points. Epic sunsets combined with lush, tropical surroundings make for an incredibly relaxing time! Can’t wait to get back!
