Best VRBO we have ever stayed in! Nicer then the pictures and villa and pool area was like a “ four seasons hotel “. Villa was super clean and pool was extremely clean. The village gives you a true slice of life in Italy away from tourist. Owners so helpful- you won’t find a better place!!!

Relaxing holiday

The villa is lovely with very comfy beds and good showers. The pool and views are stunning. The owners live onsite and were friendly and unobtrusive. We had a great, and very relaxing holiday.

Sehr schöne Finca mit toller Outdoor Küche und super Pool

Tolles Haus mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Auch das kleine Örtchen ist sehr nett. Die Pizzeria Storico ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Rundum eine gute Unterkunft für einen schönen Urlaub in der Toskana

Tolles Haus mit Pool

Patricia und Geir haben uns einen tollen Empfang bereitet. Es war wie nach Hause zu kommen. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Schnuckeliges Haus und ein toller Pool mit einem Wahnsinnsausblick. Die Pizzaria il Grotto ist nur in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder!

Lovely property and hosts

We travel a lot and this is one of the best properties we’ve stayed at. Wonderful surroundings and stunning view. Very clean and well equipped house. Nice and helpful hosts. It almost felt like visiting friends. Thank you for this week. We will definitely come back!!

Best holidays we ever had!

The Location with its lovely pool and adorable view was amazing! The furniture is of a very high quality; the house is just cosy! We enjoyed wonderful sunsets on the Patio watching deers. The host was the perfect host one can imagine. She gave us valuable tips for very interesting and exciting trips. We definitely will visit again! Thank you so much.

Wonderful Holiday

I would highly recommend this property for a holiday. The property itself was ideal. It was of a very high standard. The location was perfect. We could walk to the local restaurant which had lovely food and friendly staff. There are lots of things to see locally and you could use the train to go further afield. The proprietors were wonderful. They were very informative and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely come back to this villa again. We cannot recommend highly enough Miriam and Charles

Perfect Tuscan Escape!

My family of four (2 teen sons) stayed at this beautiful property in June. It is a perfect base for exploring Garfagnana by car and the property is delightful. There are 2 great restaurants within a 3-4 minute walk. The hosts are so welcoming and accomodating; it was a great overall experience. The management company sent great information about the area ahead of time (which was super helpful.) Although a little tricky to initially locate the property, it is easily accessible once you know where you are going. This was our first trip to Tuscany. I hope to stay here (same property) again!

Garfagnana greatness

5 of us had a wonderful stay. The pictures don't do it justice; the views over this beautiful part of Tuscany are amazing and the property / its facilities are superbly designed and finished to a very high quality. The outdoor spaces aren't overlooked at all and the interior provided a welcome relief from the heat. Good walks from the property too. Oh and very few mosquitos! Patricia was at the property during our stay and was very discrete. She booked us into the local restaurant and made excellent recommendations about things to do in the local area. The food and drink (in the supermarkets and restaurants) was consistently excellent quality and low price.

Traumurlaub in der Toskana

Mit unseren beiden Söhnen haben wir 10 Tage in dieser einmalig schönen Villa verbracht und einen fantastischen Urlaub bei den wundervollen Gastgebern Patricia und Geir erlebt. Das absolute Highlight ist der Pool mit der Außenküche und einem fantastischen Blick auf die Berge. In Laufweite ist eine Pizzeria / Gelateria / Lebensmittelladen, in der man alles für den täglichen Bedarf findet und sehr gut essen kann. Die Lage ist super geeignet für Tagesausflüge. So waren wir in Pisa, Lucca, am Strand bei Viareggio und haben auch die nahen Berge, Bergseen, Höhlen und Festungen erkundet. Wir können auch sehr empfehlen, ein E-Mountainbike auszuleihen. Dadurch kann man die wunderschöne Umgebung erkunden. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir bereits einen weiteren Urlaub in dieser Villa planen…

Fantastisch

We hebben met 6 volwassenen een week lang mogen genieten van een prachtig mooi huis met zwembad. Genoeg ruimte voor iedereen. Bijna hele week boven bij het zwembad vertoeft waar een keuken met borden, bestek, glazen, koelkast en zelfs pannen aanwezig zijn. Wat een genot in de ochtend daar je ontbijt te nuttigen, zwemmen overdag en in de late avond eten en een spelletje doen. Het zwembad wordt goed schoongehouden en was heerlijk. Omgeving is prachtig. 2 keer pizza besteld bij Il Grotto en aan grote tafel in buitenkeuken gegeten. 1 keer heerlijk bij Il Grotto zelf gegeten. Patricia en Geir zijn er als je ze nodig hebt (Patricia nog bedankt voor het maken van de foto’s) en voor goede adviezen wat te doen in de buurt. We hebben genoten van het verblijf daar.

A dream...

Patricia and Geir are super-hosts and the house with the pool and the outdoor-kitchen is a dream! Viletta is an cosy small village with a little shop (inklusice a good gelateria). The restaurant "il Grotto" is great. No chi-chi-food, just fine handmade italian food, good wines and a great view over the valley. The area is very hilly and green. There are no busloads of tourists swarming all over the countryside. So you will find a wonderful place for relaxing holidays. You can do some nice trips from Viletta to Lucca, Pisa, Firenze or Cinqueterre - but to the south of the toscany (Siena, San Gimiagno, Bolgehri) you might "endure" some longer rides. But who cares - if the house and the hosts are that good as here. And why travel so far, if you can find nice little towns like Bargha nearby. Thank you for a great time!

Schon das herzliche Willkommen der Gastgeber sorgte für ein direktes Wohlbefinden. Die Unterkunft, der Pool mit Terasse und Außenküche sind genau, wie beschrieben, sogar noch schöner. Alles ist sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Dank der Empfehlungen der Gastgeber konnten wir die Schönheit der Toskana entdecken. Fantastisches Haus in fantastischer Lage!

Herrlich gelegenes Haus mit einem einzigartigen Blick über das Tal auf die Alpi Apuane. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, so wie die gesamte Anlage. Der Pool mit der Outdoor-Küche war der Mittelpunkt unseres Aufenthalts. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und hatte gute Tipps für Ausflüge und regionale toskanische Küche in der Umgebung. Der Ort bietet alles was man braucht: Restaurant, Bar, und ein kleiner Laden. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können das Objekt nur weiterempfehlen! Vor allem für jemanden, der abseits vom Tourismus seinen Urlaub verbringen möchte.

Bolig og billigenhed er helt i top. Der henvises til at dette sted er en "godbid" og det er det helt bestemt. Alt faciliteter er 100% og man føler sig virkelig velkommen i huset og den lille by. Kan kun anbefales. Vi sender også en glad tanke til udlejer for meget venlig modtagelse, åbenhed og ikke mindst at gøre det muligt at besøge deres lille perle! Mvh Henrik & fam.

Wonderful!

This was a fabulous place in a wonderful location. The house is beautifully decorated with wonderfully fluffy towels in the bathrooms! Everything you might need is in the kitchen. But the real star here, is the pool, terrace, and outside kitchen! Such beautiful views, so relaxing, and the pool was so inviting and refreshing. The area is wonderful and so many things to do from hiking to visiting beautiful towns and villages. Our hosts were incredibly nice and helpful. There are so many wonderful things to say about this place. But to put it very simply: we reccomend this place wholeheartedly!!!!
