Great stay

House was great, ensuite in 4x rooms meant each family had their own facilities. Broken door leading out to pool was an issue and couldn't get induction cook top to work. Oven was also very difficult. Otherwise felt like the hosts considered everything. Pool was heated

Good but could be a lot better

We booked this property to stay for the 3 night while we got married. The first major issue is parking.. the property allocates it fit 16 people.. I’m not sure exactly where these cars are meant to fit.. it is VERY obvious that the neighbours do not appreciate having a holiday rental on the street. The morning of my wedding while I was trying to have my hair done, I had calls and messages from the property manager in regards to my makeup artist and hair dressers cars parks on the nature strip… I then had another call about tow trucks on the way.. if these cars were on peoples property or in the way of the flow of traffic then yes I’d completely understand, this was coming purely from disgruntled neighbours. As you could imagine I wasn’t thrilled about having to deal with this on the morning of my wedding.. I don’t know why there is a pool table and pingpong table in the double car garage and not down stairs in the rumpus area, you are taking up 2 perfectly good car spaces… Secondly - the cleanliness. The house was tidy which is fine but the whole property really need a deep clean. I raised this with the property manager and the response was that they were surprised as the owners clean the property. Which is fine but attention to detail wasn’t there, the place needs a good scrub. The photos need updating. The photos show spacious property, not in the middle of an estate. The photos are dated and was a bit disappointing as it wasn’t what we were expecting

Comfortable but aging

Property was a good size for a large family gathering, but ageing and attention to detail and cleanliness was lacking. Cobwebs in the high ceilings, dirt and dust on light fittings and across baseboards with no instruction for induction cooktop, fridge was rusty and couches were way past their prime. Large and great location.

Great place for larger groups

We stayed at the accommodation with 5 small families & young children and had a blast. The accommodation was amazing. Spacious enough with lots of different zones for everyone. The pool was cold (due to weather) but still used. Kids loved the big back yard for running around. House itself was nice and tidy. Kitchen had all the facilities to entertain our large group. Would book again!

Rest & Relax

Amazing property that worked really well for our group of 12 adults. Plenty of areas to sit either together or separately. The pool table and table tennis table kept us entertained. Highly recommended this property!!

Spacious modern luxury

Perfect house for a large group to be together yet still find space for time out. Location was spot on. Secluded enough while still in easy reach of COWES and other local attractions. We even had a visit from local kangaroos which seem to live on the neighbouring block. It appears to be a new estate so lots of new houses nearby too. Pool was a great size but despite being told it had just been cleaned it was murky on arrival which was a bit of a let down. When paying for such a high quality property we would have expected a pool with crystal clear water. After the property manager had someone attend to the pool and a bit of TLC on the first few days from members of our group it came good. Great property for relaxing and a lot of fun times too. Property Managers were responsive and excellent to deal with. We would definitely stay again.

Dish Plates Need Smaller Size

The house is beautifully designed for group of people and the facilities are good like the game room, veranda and the pool. But disappointed on the kitchen side wherein we have to washed the plates manually as it doesn’t fit on dishwasher. But if management replace it with right size to fit in the dishwasher then the next occupant will be happy. Overall, we like the place and would to come back again.

Lovely stay, BUT !!

The property itself is great, HOWEVER, the management of the property is terrible. We had a major electrical problem on our arrival. The lower ground floor was unusable between 6PM and 6AM as the light circuit breaker kept tripping. This was reported twice to "I'll get back to you" Caleb but nothing was done. With a potential electrical danger he decided to do nothing. The children had to move upstairs for safety. The lower bedrooms were unusable. The main dishwasher was placarded as "out of action" but we had a half dishwasher for 14 people in the pantry, requiring necessitating more hand washing. This was also reported to "I'll get back to you" Caleb. If a major electrical problem and facilities cannot be repaired on a weekend then the property should not be let on weekends. Returning home I again rang "I'll get back to you" Caleb asking for some recompense for the inconvenience experienced during our stay. But true to form I have not heard from "I'll get back to you" Caleb. Try another managed property and avoid "I'll get back to you" Caleb. He never has to this day!

Fabulous place for a group.

Seven of us (including my 83 yo mother) had a fabulous time here at the end of February for 5 nights. There is so much that is great about this house... So much space, a bathroom for everyone, and enough seating for everyone to be able to get comfortable. A great setting with views of the ocean, even a mob of Kangaroos (5 adults and joeys) that came into the back garden at night to eat the grass. As mentioned in previous reviews, there were a couple of areas that could do with a bit of maintenance and the furniture and decor are not exactly as pictured in the photos and are definitely showing some wear and tear but all are clean and comfortable as was all the interior of the house. This property is great value and a great spot for a group. Thanks so much for having us!

Family gathering - sisters and their families

This house was absolutely perfect for our 3 night stay. Plenty of room for 15 adults and 2 kids. Everything is so well appointed and comfortable for lots of quality family time. A quiet area where you don’t feel on top of others but a close drive to shops, pubs, cafes etc. We will definitely be coming here again and I would highly recommend this amazing accommodation!

Plenty of room for several families

Great place to stay, we had a wonderful time, with heaps to keep us entertained. Plenty of room for 4 families, separate bathrooms for all and space to spread out over 3 levels of living. Kids loved the garage games room & pool.

lovely house but needs attention

Beautifully appointed house with plenty of room for everyone, however the house does need a thorough deep clean and some of the kitchen cookware and appliances needs replacing. It was also difficult having only one gate control between many people.

Great house

Great house for our group and thoroughly enjoyed the few days. However the house is purported to be a luxurious getaway, but I found alot of the furniture especially in the lounge areas could do with being changed over, they have seen better days! But other than had a fantastic time. Cheers for having us!

Great house, great views and plenty of space It’s a shame the furnishing lets it down, It is advertised as luxurious, but the furniture is very tired and beds and bedding are of poor quality this would be an amazing home to rent otherwise. There is also a very strong scent of cheap cleaning products and air freshener.

Fantastic family house

Would highly recommend to any family wanting a house that ticks all the boxes! Great size bedrooms, 4 with ensuite. So many different entertaining areas, amazing views and something to keep the kids entertained also! You won't be disappointed!!!

High Quality House in a Private Location

Had a great time at this place. The architectural design of this property was really impressive; many unique aspects cleverly combined to create a perfect environment. Lots of different light switch installations in this place to customize the visual aesthetics to suit the mood. Multi-level, zoned living areas also allow people to find their own spaces, furthered enriched by several ensuite bathrooms and a powerful heating system throughout the place to ensure no one was ever cold. The outdoor entertaining areas offered great times, and created more space for people to enjoy the property. It was a great weekend that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

What a wonderful luxury home !!

A very warm and comfortable home for our family weekend away for our Mum’s 80th birthday in June. Could not have asked for better accommodation, more than enough room for the12 of us to spread out and enjoy our get together in comfort. Quiet, private location with a very nice view indeed, thank you for sharing your special home with us.
