Overall, the property itself was ok. It is truly “cozy”. Not much room to move around once you open your luggage which we had to do in the living area. The neighborhood did not feel safe to me and is quite poor with bad housing all around. The property itself is enclosed in a gate. Initially we had to park our golf cart outside of the gate and had our gas stolen out of our golf cart one night. Afterwards, we told the property owner that we needed to park inside. The property itself was suitable. I did pay to have clean towels and face cloths after the initial check in set.

Our 2 week stay at the casita was excellent. Everything was as described and the whole experience was great. Great location to everything you need in town and for exploring either south or north of town. Great couples get away. Cheers

Ideal Place

We had a very nice stay here. The bed is comfy and the walk-in shower was very nice. Kitchen is well equipped. Location is just out of the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. A great deal for the rate.

Immersed in the culture of San Pedro

Casita on the river is a newer building with all of the amenities surrounded by a more traditional San Pedro neighbourhood. It is located for easy walking access to downtown and beaches. The hosts live in a seperate building on site and are friendly, informative and helpful. Cute little dogs too.

Great Place

I really liked the cute little casita! It was well kept and just enough space for me for my long weekend. Also the bed and pillows are very comfortable! I was lucky to get the chance to meet the owners during my stay. Both them and the caretaker were very nice. My only suggestions would be to change the blinds as it is very difficult to go in and out the door with the blinds closed and I did not want to leave them wide open when I was away. Second, the water gets very hot in both sinks but only gets simi-warm in the shower. Overall, a great stay at a great plcae! Thank you!😊

Lovely first trip to Belize

The property was really great ! Good location near town and all San Pedro has to offer .. the caretaker Javier and his family were extremely nice ! they welcomed me into their family for the Christmas season as I am traveling by myself ! I have made a wonderful new friend in San Pedro and look forward to coming back again soon ! The owner was also very helpful and easy to communicate with !

Lovely little place to stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Casitas on the River. Our unit was exceptionally clean and maintained. It was outfitted with everything we needed for our time there. The AC was wonderfully cool and the sizeable shower was refreshing. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the mornings. Javier was very kind and helpful with anything we needed. There was some confusion about which unit we were in at the beginning of our stay, but Javier took care of everything and got us settled as soon as he could. The road leading to the casitas was a bit rough, but that is to be expected. The location near the bridge was convenient for us. We would recommend staying here!
