  • 'Pirate Villas' is a private waterfront 3 story villa on North Ambergris Caye. Conveniently Located only one mile North of San Pedro Town center in one of the most exclusive areas in Belize, Tres Cocos Area.

    Recently Rennovated, The bottom unit entails a king size bed, hand made by a local craftsman out of exotic Belizean warrior wood, living area with new comfortable couch set, full kitchen, with screen sliding glass doors opening up to its own private plunge pool with custom Belizean hardwood deck, 40" flat screen cable television, washer/dryer and a custom designed bathroom. Wifi available throughout property.

    Newly renovated in 2024 with Exotic Mexican clay tiles indoor and outdoor with a warm mosaic finish throughout entire villa, all glass doors and windows with screen.

    Plunge Pool: Cool down with a tropical island cocktail in your Private 5ft deep Plunge pool with awesome sunset views just off your private front porch.

    Our Bottom Unit is perfect for one couple. Second unit is reserved for Owners. Owners are rarely at home therefore you have privacy.

    We invite you to stay with us and have a great stay in your private waterfront villa and enjoy great food, cocktails and fun times at our restaurant and bar with our friendly staff located at the Famous Secret Beach, namely Pirates Not So Secret Beach Bar and Grill

Perfect location, out of busy town, perfect for getting pretty much anywhere and very quiet. We loved hanging out on the deck, using the bbq and a nice dip in the personal pool. Hosts and caretaker very helpful and accommodating.

Jason and Mar were great host. They knew all the good spots to go. They made our trip very memorable would definitely stay again. Take the kayak out bar hopping on the lagoon!

We had a wonderful time at the house . It was so quiet there was no road noise from the main road . We loved the pool & watching & feeding the iguanas .Maresha was a fantastic host & a world of information of where to go on the island ! Pirates Restaurant at Secret Beach was awesome food ! Fun games and great food !We enjoyed out trip so much !Definitely would go back !!

Great stay at Pirates!

Really enjoyed our time here. Just out of the way enough to feel like your own private oasis but close enough to everything so running out for anything was a breeze. Maresha was super helpful, on top of making sure our stay was top notch she also hooked us up with a golf cart rental for getting around and helped us arrange a private snorkelling trip. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay; the description is super accurate, pictures are on point. Bed was very very comfortable; we had everything we needed! The location is right where you want to be on Ambergris Caye. 10/10 recommend!

We had such an enjoyable time in San Pedro. Maresha and Jason were genuine kind and laid back hosts. The views were stunning. It was really nice after all day on the beach or in town (where so much is going on) to come back to peace and serenity. Five out of five would not stay anywhere else when we return. Come back and watch the beautiful sunset from the pool.

The well water is polluted with sargassum, which contains toxic substances. According to the NIH, Rotting Sargassum seaweed releases toxic gases, primarily hydrogen sulfide (\(H_{2}S\)) and ammonia (\(NH_{3}\)), which cause respiratory, skin, and neurological issues. Additionally, the seaweed accumulates heavy metals like arsenic and cadmium, making it unsafe for consumption or use as food/fertilizer. It smells so awful as to induce gagging. The washer wasn't working for most of my visit, despite the fact that I reported it on the first day of my stay. I was going to take my laundry to be cleaned, but the host said they'd do it. They did, and ruined several high quality, expensive items of clothing. They were completely unapologetic, lied, and were rude in their response. They blamed the well water, saying city water isn't available. That's a lie, it absolutely is and everyone uses it. The toilet was broken for nearly my entire visit, despite promises that it would be fixed. I reported it immediately upon checking in. The property description says the owners are never there, that travelers can expect privacy. In fact, they confirmed they're always there. They entertain almost every night at late hours. Once I had to ask at 1:00 am when it would quiet down and stay quiet. The bed is so hard as to be completely intolerable, and I much prefer a firm mattress. I slept on the couch for ten days.

Great location and property

The view on the verandah was lovely. The pool was clean, cool, and enjoyable. I loved the amount of wood accents in the home. The staff were extraordinary nice. We would rent again.

Amazing location - just a bit north from the bridge and sitting back from the road away from the noise and hustle off downtown - a real sanctuary !!!The plunge pool is amazing to jump in when you get home -we loved pirate house and visiting the Pirates bar and restaurant on secret beach !!!I am so gratefull we found you !!

Great little apartment.

Nice place with good location. Excellent management. No sign of crocodiles - we were hoping to see one. Plunge pool isn't heated so, a little too cool to use in January. Excellent SCUBA in Ambergris Caye.

Perfect spot

The villa is spacious and very well appointed. Super comfortable couches for lounging, and the bed is comfortable. Only a few blocks from town, but quiet and tranquil. The plunge pool is refreshing and sunset views are stunning. The owners were super responsive as was the caretaker. Highly recommend Pirate Villa.

Great

The location from town was perfect, and the setting was quiet and private. The host was very nice, met with them when we checked in and then they stayed away. Had a problem with the TV and it was fixed right away. We will definitely be staying there again. When you go to San Pedro use Helen's golf carts.

Great location on Ambergris Caye

Great location, private, easy access to San Pedro without the hustle and bustle of downtown/in town. The only complaint is that it is on its own well water, and the shower/stool/sink water smells of Sulfur. Other than that, it was a great location, we really enjoyed our week’s stay.
