We just spent (1) at Blue Dolphin, Feb 2026, with 5 couples total. The house was perfect size, beautifully maintained, as well as the grounds. Gloria and Armando were the best. Haley, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful, too. The beds were all very comfortable and Gloria and Armando checked in on us every day. It’s about 15-20 minute golf cart ride from downtown San Pedro, and 20 minutes to Secret Beach. We will be there again.

Amazing location, beautiful home. Caretakers were spectacular. We literally couldn’t have had a better time. Such a great experience for our group of 14. Looking forward to coming back. Host was wonderful and very quick to respond to anything we could need.

Owners Greg and Casey were incredible hosts, as were Gloria & Armondo! Gloria and Armondo cooked our fresh-caught fish - incredible!!! House worked perfectly for five couples, each having our own bathrooms, etc. Pool was awesome, town close by…. Fabulous vacation!!!

Fantastic stay at the Blue Dolphin for our family of 9, ranging from 10-77. Dr. Mark could not have been more responsive and helpful, offering valuable recommendations and ideas. The on-site caretakers (and their friendly dog Lassie) were so kind and a pleasure to be around each day. The house was immaculate, the beds were comfy, the pool was refreshing, and having a dock right there for pick-ups for excursions made it so easy to explore. The location was just far enough from the noise and traffic, but close enough to get great meals each day. Our only regret was going with the cheaper golf carts instead of the company that Dr. Mark recommended!

Our group of 14 recently stayed at the Blue Dolphin, and from the moment we booked to our arrival, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by Mark and caretakers Gloria and Armando.The villa itself is spacious, clean and well maintained. Each bedroom offered privacy, and the AC in the main house bedrooms cooled within minutes at night. While the common areas could get warm, it was fully expected in July! The kitchen is fully equipped with ample seating. We also added the lil dolphin and Mark kindly had the AC bedroom units replaced during our stay when it was found they were no longer cooling properly which we appreciated!The outdoor space was one of the highlights: a gorgeous pool, ocean views, and plenty of lounging areas to soak up the sun or enjoy a cocktail in the shade. What really made this stay special was the incredible hospitality. Mark was always available and offers assistance with anything needed (planning tours, coordinating golf carts, sharing local recommendations, anything you need!) After spending several action packed days on the mainland, we were ready to relax and spent hours in the pool (when we weren't out exploring the island!) Gloria and Armando took great care of the property and are so sweet! If you are looking for a great home base while on the island, this is your spot!

Wonderful vacation in paradise

Mark and his managers, Gloria and Armando, were attentive and helpful in all ways: advice on trips to take, transportation , and much more, so that our stay was comfortable, relaxing and exciting. They even surprised me with a birthday cake and sparklers. The house is lovely. The bedroom air conditioners work well, The pool is clean and lovely. We highly recommend staying at Blue Dolfin!

Great stay at Blue Dolphin

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Dolphin and Lil Dolphin. Dr. Mark was great at assisting us with transportation to and from the airport, setting up our golf cart rentals and excursions. They have been on the island for a very long time and have an excellent network of contacts for about anything you would need. The location was beautiful, very well maintained. Perfect size for our group of 13. Gloria and Armando were excellent on site hosts. They came and cleaned every day, made the beds, cleaned the pool and made sure that everything was perfect for our entire stay. We even asked them make a traditional Belizean meal for our entire group, and you would think you were at a restaurant, great food and presentation. Perfect trip for everyone!

Vintage 60th Celebration

The Blue Dolphin was everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Our group came to the beautiful island to celebrate 60th birthdays and could not have been happier with the accommodations, the property and the care takers. Being our first time to San Pedro we couldn’t have asked for more. Dr. Mark was so helpful with suggestions and assistance with arrangements for taxi service and golf cart rental. We would highly recommend Blue Dolphin to all and would stay again if we return to San Pedro.

Great Stay for Large Group

The property is north of town about 30 minutes in a golf cart. The home is clean and very comfortable with a large pool that is cleaned daily. We also rented the lil dolphin for a party of 6 that is an upstairs apartment behind the main house. The diamond of this property are the two caretakers who stay on the property. Gloria takes care of the daily bedding and kitchen cleaning while Armondo takes care of the grounds. Anything you need they are there. We had Virginia bring in daily breakfast at 7:30 because we were a party of 16 going all over at the beginning of the day. We highly recommend doing this because the cost was much cheaper than going out and everything takes an hour on the island. The bedrooms are airconditioned but the rest of the living quarters are fan only. Beds are comfy and showers were roomy and humid at times. There are kayaks to take out and kayak from the property. Rental snorkal and fins can be gotten in town for 30 dollars a week. We took the Cay Caulker Cat tour and it was ok. I would just take a boat over instead because the snorkeling was very corwded and short. The house boat was amazing and incredible for large parties and a very relaxing day. San Pedro has small mosqitos that bite in the mornings and evenings at dusk. Bring 100% deet from the states as it is very expensive in Belize. Dr Mark (Owner) was always available over whats app if we needed options and help with excursions. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very enjoyable time

We enjoyed our trip. Gracious, responsive host. Friendly staff. House needs a little updating. AC works well in rooms. No AC in common areas. Not surprised by that. But got a little warm and with some recent rains, we had a lot of mosquitos on patio area by the pool, so spent a little more time in the living room than we thought. Enjoyed the top roof deck at night and sitting out on the pier.

Great Family Getaway

We had a great family vacation at the Blue Dolphin with several adults and children aged 7-14. The pool was an amazing sanctuary from the heat and the house has great access to the water and is well positioned between downtown and Secret Beach. Thanks to the homeowner and caretakers for all of their assistance in making our first stay in Belize a memorable one.

The Blue Dolphin was perfect for our group of 8. The view was amazing, hanging out in the pool overlooking the water was ahhhhmazing. The host was so helpful and responsive before and during our stay and we all had a fantastic time. Highly recommend.

unBELIZEable family vacay at an AWESOME property

My family of 8 (7 adults/1 teen) stayed 5 nights at this awesome property on Ambergris Caye. The home, pool, and grounds were lovely. With 5 bedrooms (each with their own bath), everyone had their own private space. Each bedroom had AC. We had the master suite and only used AC the first night, choosing to keep the doors and windows open to enjoy the cool ocean breeze. The home had a large kitchen, 2 refrigerators and plenty of dining table space. If we had stayed longer, we would have cooked more. When travelling, we enjoy trying local restaurants, so during our stay the kitchen was used mostly for mixing rum punch and prepping/storing fresh fruit and farmers' market goodies. We used the large dining table for board/card games. The pool/patio area was outstanding. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed using it daily. We played cornhole, relaxed in the hammocks, took the kayaks out to the reef to watch the sunrise on Easter morning, and enjoyed watching the tarpon in the evenings at the end of the dock. So many things to do at the property, that we could have just stayed there the entire time. But there is so much to see and do in Belize! Dr. Mark was very responsive and had lots of helpful tips. The caretaker, Eswin, was awesome and even provided us fresh coconut water. Restaurants we loved: Sol Cafe, Caliente, Palapa Bar, Truck Stop (so fun), and Blue Bayou at Secret Beach. Highlights: Lamanai, cave-tubing and the BEST snorkeling trip with Lady Leslie! unBELIZEable!!

Blue dolphin does it again

This place will not disappoint. Although Belize may have lost a little of its luster over the years, this is an oasis in and of itself. The owner is an exceptional advisor, who will make sure you are equipped to have a five star vacation. He has staff assigned to the house to ensure you have everything you need during your stay. The property is as advertised. The owner and staff are very helpful. If you are a true beach lover this is not for you but the pool, dock and grounds are perfect. We stayed here with 5 couples, lots of room and or privacy if needed.

Blue Dolphin Paradise

My family of 8 adults spent a wonderful relaxing week of Feb. 17-24, 2024. The blue dolphin is all Dr. Mark said it was and then some. The pool was a great gathering point with views of the ocean and the waves breaking over the reef off shore. We loved the long morning walks on the beach. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The staff is very efficient and most helpful when we needed information or other assistance. Ambergris Caye is a jewel for getting away from the over crowded vacation spots of other islands.
