Our experience at this villa was outstanding. The management has gone above and beyond -- not just having the essentials BUT have all the "little" details. The beds made for good sleeping while the pool and pool deck were spacious with upgraded furniture. The palapa was where we spent each sunset. The vistas from the villa are breathe taking. Safe and quiet neighborhood. We almost missed the rest of the island as we really didn't want to leave the property once we got there! They are so helpful with ALL the planning and any arrangements that you might need. We will definitely be back! Thanks for wonderful memories!!

Perfect Aruba Escape — Truly Exceptional VillaSea Salt and Sunsets Villa was an absolute 5-star VRBO find and one of the best vacation homes we’ve ever stayed in. The spectacular ocean views, beautiful wildlife, and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway. The pool and outdoor living space were outstanding — ideal for relaxing, grilling, and lounging while enjoying the incredible Aruba weather and sunsets.The location was exactly what we wanted: quiet and away from the busy parts of the island, yet close to everything we needed. We loved being within walking distance to Roger’s Beach, and there’s a fantastic nearby restaurant serving excellent curry and gelato that quickly became a favorite.Kris and Chris have thought of absolutely everything. The attention to detail is unmatched — a fully stocked kitchen, condiments, spices, coffee, tea, and all the small touches that make you immediately feel at home. Kris provided a thorough and informative welcome tour, making sure we knew how to enjoy every part of this amazing property.We truly can’t recommend Sea Salt and Sunsets strongly enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly hosted Aruba stay, this is it.

The Villa was exceptional as were the hosts. The views were breathtaking in this quiet paradise. Every room and outdoor space was lovely and comfortable. Kris and Chris clearly anticipated all the wants and needs of their guests with well equipped kitchens, bathrooms, pool floats, and extras for excursions like snorkels and goggles for UTVs. Kris was a wealth of knowledge helping us navigate the island with restaurants, traffic tips and an escort to the airport around Carnivale. We could not have asked for a better week with fantastic hosts!

Found our "Home Away From Home" in Aruba! Our stay at this incredible rental was amazingl! If you’re planning a family trip to the island, this is the spot. We traveled as a family of five and had so much space to spread out. But honestly? We spent most of our time outside! The backyard is a total private oasis—the kids lived in the pool, and there was plenty of room for them to run around while we soaked up the sun. The absolute highlights:The View: Completely unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea. Waking up to that blue water every morning was pure magic.The Tiki Hut: Down on the lower level, there’s an amazing tiki hut that became our go-to spot. It’s the perfect front-row seat for both sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury with a family-friendly vibe, this is it. We never wanted to leave!

This stay was for a 50th wedding anniversary. When we arrived there were rose petals on bed surrounded by a heart made by beautiful towels. I would never have spent this kind of money on a rental except for this occasion but you get to see how up scale a house can be. Hosts were wonderful and accommodating. They were a wealth of knowledge. Their tips saved us time in getting around the island. We had chefs come in one night and cooked us dinner down by the water. It was a great experience.Thanks Chris and Kris.

Property and owners were outstanding. The best stocked rental home we have ever stayed in. Had everything (and then some) on hand, labeled and organized to make your stay and beach visits an ease. Access to secluded beach is somewhat challenging and high tide eliminates beach. Proximity to Baby & Rodger’s Beach made this a non-issue. The location is 30 minutes to a hour from main town, depending on the time of day and weather. We actually enjoyed the seclusion. This property is located right next to abandoned oil refinery, but did not detract much from beauty of the location.

What a wonderful stay we had at this villa! It is the cleanest and most well-stocked property we’ve ever rented. My son graduated from high school in May and got to pick our summer trip destination. He picked this property for the pool looking out to the ocean and the little slice of private beach. Magical. The owners were so helpful too. I highly recommend doing a “Welkom Dinner,” having them stock the fridge and pantry for you, and doing the private chef for a dinner and maybe even a breakfast/brunch. Definitely utilize the owners’ vast expertise. Having the palapa was such a unique experience too; such privacy on the edge of the water! We would love to return!

Great view, owners, location and property on non-touristy end of island.

The best, is, of course, the view. The owners provided every conceivable convenience and amenity to enjoy the home. They are perhaps the most attentive and involved hosts we have ever encountered.The house is older, but has been well updated. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable . Kitchen is smallish, but generous outsideThere is endless space to gather together, or find seclusion. Furnishings were nice and generally kid-friendly. The grounds were wonderful, well furnished and maintained.No beach is truly private in Aruba, but as a practical matter…this one is, although the public beaches a mile or two away were more inviting. Baby Beach is wonderful especially for families with small children wanting a sheltered ocean experience.The site is a bit remote. Mostly of the locals, for the locals, aside from ocean front properties. Seemed very safe, as we felt everywhere in Aruba.Aruba is more like Arizona surrounded by some very nice beaches than a Dutch version of Hawaii. It is unequipped for rain, which we had. This property was not immune to the problems of island aging infrastructure. Aruba was a petro-boom town from the ‘20’s until the 1980’s when the massive refinery ceased operations . The country still hopes to resurrect it. If reminders of the world’s reliance on fossil fuels ruins your every day…this may not be the vacation for you.Arubans seemed to us to be the most genuinely friendly people ever, for an economy that does the Faustian deal for tourism.

Exceeded all our Expectations!

Fantastic place to stay. Great location, great amenities, fantastic hosts. Kris is super-detailed and has every contingency covered. Very nice touches and the whole experience was just very well thought out. Checking in and checking out were both a breeze. The entire family (ages 8, 38, 43, 52, 67, 72, and 73) was simply delighted. Can't imagine finding better hosts or a better place to stay. Already talking about going back!

Very special property with wonderful hosts

The property is beautiful and spotless. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable including helping us with car rentals, booking excursions and recommendations for restaurants. The Welkom dinner is a wonderful end to a travel day and set the tone for a very special vacation. This is a quieter part of the island which suited us perfectly. We had fantastic meals where the locals go! Don’t hesitate- just book. We have already for next year!

Perfect vacation

From the moment we entered the gate it felt like paradise. Amazing views, gorgeous pool and patio with multiple seating areas, the spectacular palapa .. and then inside, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you may need. The most comfortable bed and linens made it difficult to get up in the morning! Kris and Chris made it extra special with some personal touches. We all had the best time!!!

Fabulous Villa

If you want a quiet and peaceful stay in Aruba away from the crowds this place is for you! It’s beautifully maintained and very spacious. We were able to get our R&R and enjoy the villa. The hosts were very informative and attentive with careful attention to detail. We definitely recommend renting a car to get around the island especially if you plan on staying at this villa. Fantastic!

The property is stunning. The outdoor area has something for everyone… plenty of places to relax, tons of games, workout equipment, fire pits, comfortable seating, ambiance lighting… it lacks NOTHING. The view is gorgeous. We loved the palapa (massages out there were incredible). The inside of the house is meticulous and VERY well stocked. It’s beautiful and very comfortable. 5 stars ALL the way. It’s on the quiet end of the island which makes for a lovely escape. Baby beach is just 2-3 minutes down the road where you can catch a great sunrise, beach day AND a stunning sunset. 2 beach bars right there as well. Visits into town were easy enough with just a little planning… we ventured out most days. Aruba is super easy to navigate (you’ll want to rent a vehicle!) We also really enjoyed seeing the donkeys that roam San Nicolas daily and we would always be sure to carry carrots with us when we ventured into town so we could feed them. The red anchor when you’re coming into town offers a magnificent sunrise view. San Nicolas is a lovely town (be sure to go see the murals… they’re stunning!!!) I highly recommend a visit here. You WILL NOT find another host who takes more pride in their property than Kris & Chris. They were so responsive throughout our entire stay for ANY thing we needed or any questions we had. Kris acted as our personal concierge with wonderful recommendations and helping us to schedule excursions. It was so much better than staying at a big resort!

Aruban Paradise

This villa is exactly as described and more! The decor is warm and inviting, and the property was spotless stocked with everything we needed while on vacation. Having been to Aruba several time before and always staying in hotels, we were looking for a more relaxing experience, away from the tourist crowds. We found it. The 3 bedrooms with private baths were perfect for our group of 6. The TV room was a comfy place to hang out in the evenings and watch TV. Individual A/C and fans in each room meant we were all very comfortable. The palapa overlooking the water is the perfect place for morning coffee or in the evenings, watching the pelicans dive for fish. We chose to have a sunset dinner there prepared by the private chef and it was exquisite. Highly recommend! We spent many hours reading and relaxing in one of the many chaise lounges or on the flamingo in the crystal clear pool. Hosts Chris and Kris were amazing from start to finish. They went above and beyond before we even got there. Our flight was delayed 8 hours and when we arrived at 1am, Chris met us at the airport, already having had our rental cars delivered to the Villa. While other travelers were scrambling for taxis, they had arranged a private transport from the airport to the villa. Having sent Kris a grocery list, the villa was stocked with everything we needed, including GF foods for one of our group.I recommend having Chris prep some food prior to arrival... delicious and such a treat! We'll be back!

The Perfect Vacation Villa – A True 5-Star Experience

We’ve stayed at many beautiful places over the years, each deserving of a 5-star rating, but our stay at this villa in Aruba exceeded all expectations and set a new standard. Describing it with just 5 stars hardly seems sufficient. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The villa itself was even more stunning than the photos suggested. Kris and Chris truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. They meticulously helped us plan every detail of our trip, from arranging our arrival and securing a rental car to stocking the villa with groceries before our arrival. Their hospitality didn’t stop there; they assisted us in finding the perfect gifts to bring home to our family and ensured our departure was completely stress-free. Our experience was so exceptional that we almost hesitate to leave another glowing review, simply because we can’t wait to return and enjoy this slice of paradise again. If you’re considering a stay here and are reading this review, stop hesitating and book it. You won’t regret it. This villa and its incredible hosts will make your vacation truly unforgettable.

Absolutely Amazing!

From the moment you walk through the gate you are in your own paradise. This property is breathtaking. Kris and Chris are hands down the best hosts you could ask for. They helped arrange everything and gave great recommendations. What I appreciated the most was the small details. Air conditioning worked great, water pressure was strong, super soft towels, comfortable beds, and anything you needed from kitchen utensils, to snorkel gear, to beach bags, laundry, bug spray...they had it all! The outside space is the best part and we spent 90% of our time in the pool, eating outside at one of the tables, reading on a lounge chair, taking a nap (even the kids played ipad/switch outside). Chef Daniel was great and kept us well fed and highly recommend taking advantage of prestocking your fridge. I wish I could give this review higher than 5 stars because it was an absolute amazing trip! We will be back!

A little slice of Heaven!

This was my 50th birthday trip with girlfriends and honestly the property is so big that you really don't ever have to leave! It was pristine! There are no other words to describe it. Kris was super attentive anytime we needed anything and Chef Daniel was AMAZING!!! We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway

Our family spent 5 nights over Christmas at the villa. Enough room for 6 adults to have some space, enough to do to keep a toddler busy all day. The pool overlooking the ocean was beautiful.The little beach down below was perfect for a dip. Everything was quiet and private, and clean. Plenty of sitting areas for both sun and shade. We never used the Palapa since it was treacherous with a toddler, but some of the adults sat there for evening cocktails. We loved that there were two queen and one king sized bedroom,each with its own bath. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we could need. Kris and Chris are perfect hosts. Anything you could want or need is stocked, and if it’s not, they’ll get it for you. They are NOT absentee hosts, but available for any situation (including a rare island blackout!) They are all about the details, including providing us with party favors and a game suggestion for New Years Eve. We had three meals made by the chefs.What a treat to have a delicious and beautifully presented meal prepared for us. There are two points I would have perspective guests be aware of: 1- the villa is on the southern tip of the island. We liked that, but if you’re looking for activities etc. the main part of the island is about a 40 minute drive. 2- The villa is next to a defunct oil refinery. It has been cleaned up, has interesting history, and didn’t effect anything, except it was off putting at first. Neither affected our stay. We hope to be back!
