We wanted a quick getaway to disconnect from our busy crazy work life without too much sacrifice. This property delivered exactly what it said it had and wat we needed. Loved the stars at night and the nature view. We got to disconnect without sacrificing comfort. The only thing taht could improve was the cleanliness of the toilet. Everything else was in good conditions and comfortable.

We both enjoyed the bungalow, it was peaceful, and enjoyable. Nice location and we would stay again. Maybe next time there won’t be a burn ban and we can light a fire!! The A/C filter needs attention as well as the standup heater.

Amazing Hill Country Experience!

This was such a beautiful little spot with easy access to Wimberly, Austin, Canyon Lake, and surrounding locations.. Hidden in the back of the property, it was very private and just the perfect atmosphere inside and out to experience the Texas Hill Country in full. Easy to use fire pit where you can enjoy and sit under the stars for hours! Host was very responsive and everything was clean.

Spouse Marriage Retreat

It was so clean and quiet. There is one home on the property that you can see when you leave but when you sit on the porch it is so quiet and serene. The main gate stopped working for a quick moment but they were there very quick, let us out, and had it fixed when we got back. I would stay here over and over.

Great staycation spot!

Very cute and quaint cabin in a nice area. Very quiet and loved watching the sunset and the birds and butterflies. Loved cooking and took some great pics!

Perfect hideaway

Perfect location. Perfect size for 2 wanting a quiet get away… Its was a very comfortable and clean place and very private Even on hot Texas days the porch and outside sitting area is shaded I would definitely stay here again

Hill County Gem

This little gem was perfect. Beautiful sunsets, close to Wimberley, peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend to any couple looking for a little getaway.

Cabin on the Hill

Small, well appointed air conditioned cabin on a lovely hill country property. He’s all of the basics and then some for a three day property search excursion. Close to Canyon Lake, Wimberley, San Marcos and New Braunfels. Plenty of wild birds and a couple of deer roaming around, had a great stay there and would recommend for any couple looking for comfortable basic accommodations. I like the property!

Such a cozy place!

Overall, we had a great stay here. We loved the location, views, and love how hidden it is. There were a few things that I would like to point out though. The Keurig was broken so I wasn’t able to use it, which was super disappointing. I wish there was some extra blankets as we woke up in the early am super chilly and that little heater didn’t do much for us. My sock went under the bed and when I looked under the bed to get it, it looked like it hadn’t been swept under there in a long time, it was pretty nasty. Besides these minor things we enjoyed our stay and would probably be back.

Relaxing stay

Overall is a great place! Far enough away but still close to anything we wanted. Place and property was cute. Only exception was not having hot water for half the time we were there. That kinda put a kink in our plans. Definitely would stay again though.

Beautiful and peacy

I needed a quiet getaway to be able to focus and get some work done. This was the perfect spot. Clean bungalow. Beautiful, quiet scenery. Comfy bed. Kitchen was well stocked.

Overall fantastic for couples

We loved being in nature and the privacy. Perfect for couples getaway. Loved all the amenities. However, some minor improvements would make this property perfect: Foot towel for bathroom and improved pressure in shower. Rubber spatula, bbq brush, full size cups/non-alcohol cups, and dish mat to put under dish drainer. A rail or clip in kitchen to hang wet dish towels. Lamps by bed are too bright/nonadjustable. Hornets nest on porch upon arrival. There's a large wire sticking out of the ground on exit road. Hammock listed in posting no where to be found.
