Very responsive owners

It was nice, it served its purpose. Beds were comfy pool table and fooseball were a big hit. It was pretty expensive though. Other than that it was nice.

Absolute perfection

We are all perfectly comfortable at our weekend away. There was exceptional communication from start to finish. The kitchen had all the pots and pans for our family meals. Beds were comfy, water was hot with good pressure. We could find things easily and we had a lot of fun playing pool and foosball. It was an ideal setup for entertaining . I mean perfect. I do recommend this accommodation.

Property was great overall. 5 stars here Check in process was tricky due to lack of address provided automatically after booking.... Had to reach out to property manager. 4 stars Had a brief discrepancy with the property manager trying to charge us for "damaged / lost" items. Please be aware. The issue was eventually resolved. Simply be aware! Hoping it was all a misunderstanding and this isn't standard practice. 2 stars Overall stay = 4 Stars

Peaceful Retreat

We found the perfect escape for our family when visiting San Marcos. This quiet, homey place was ideal for relaxing after spending time with our daughter who attends Texas State. The house was clean and inviting, and the peaceful atmosphere was incredible. We couldn't believe how serene it was, especially being so close to town. An added bonus was bringing our two furry companions! We loved not having to worry about a pet sitter and the dogs had a blast exploring the yard and chasing squirrels. There was even a nice trail right behind the house for evening walks. Everything about this place was fantastic! From the pool table for family fun to the excellent communication with the hosts (always quick and friendly!), our stay couldn't have been better. We truly can't recommend this place enough.

Wonderful home with great fenced backyard for dogs

We are from San Antonio and our friends were from Austin so it was a perfect vacation home located midway between. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard and the pool table gave us something fun to do between watching March Madness games. Will definitely stay again!

Be aware that there are cameras everywhere. I understand having a door camera. but we felt very intruded upon. No closet space to hang your clothes.

Holiday Trip

I booked this pet friendly home for my family while traveling during the Christmas Holidays. Everything was as advertised and the hosts were prompt and concise with all of their correspondence. A nice convenient location in a quiet neighborhood.

A great place for a family reunion

Our group consisted of three 70+ old family members, two 30+ men and a young man just turned 18. Everyone enjoyed the pool table, foos ball and piano. The open living/dining/kitchen area are great for family gatherings. The backyard was perfect for the dog and the back porch has plenty of comfortable seating. It is a beautiful location with a greenway, private and quiet in a nice subdivision. The house was very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated for Christmas, and the owners were very nice and easy to reach. The kitchen is well equipped. I highly recommend this property and the owners.

Great Family House with Entertainment

We stayed two nights for a family Thanksgiving gathering in Kissing Tree. As advertised, this house is about 3 miles from Kissing Tree so it was super convenient. We needed a kitchen to prepare the dish we took to the family gathering. The kitchen includes a good inventory of pots, pans, dishes, and gadgets. There are no condiments or spices so if you plan to cook, plan ahead like we did. The living space is completely open as described allowing everyone to enjoy the same space, even while cooking. We enjoyed the pool table for entertainment. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The back patio includes a lot of furniture creating a nice outdoor space. Like the picture in the listing, we were greeted by a deer upon our arrival around 5 pm. The Host was very good about sending information and responded to my questions very timely. Since we have relatives in Kissing Tree, we will plan to stay here again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great place to stay for Formula 1

We wanted a place to stay near the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Austin with our grown boys, and this house was great. It is close to both San Antonio and Austin, so we also got to spend a wonderful day sightseeing in San Antonio. The house was super clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed in the master bedroom had a great mattress - super comfortable! Everything was meticulously labeled, so it was easy to find our way around the kitchen. The pool table and foosball made sure we were entertained when we were not out sightseeing. The hosts, Carmen and Tom, were super friendly and were so fast to respond to any question, as well as giving us lots of tips on how to get the most out of our Formula 1 experience. They made us feel like we were old friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay in San Marcos!

San Marcos river getaway

Very great, the house smelled amazing when we walked in. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Great location. Private spacious back yard with covered patio and plenty of chairs. Would recommend definitely to friends and family. The owner was very nice and answered all my questions promptly. A 10 out of 10 stay!

Nice modern house

Very comfortable clean modern home in a nice subdivision. Owners were extremely responsive. Kids loved the table football game. Mom loved the patio where you can see deer early in the morning.

Awesome Place!!

The house was excellent and very clean. The beds were great. We had a wonderful experience even though we basically just slept there. My wife and I are very clean and neat people and I am always skeptical about homes. However, Tom and Carmen have a great house, very clean, neat, checkin process was excellent and the information provided was superbub. We would definelty stay again. My inlaws and parent stayed with us and they went on and on about the house. Thanks Carmen and Tom. We appreciate everything.

Fabulous place - Owner did everything to make our stay perfect!

Family of 5 for a quick 1 night stay due to ODP Soccer, was a last minute booking that turned out to be fantastic. Love the pool table, love the piano. Everything was clean and in order. Wish we could have stayed longer!
