We stayed at this beautiful casita for one week primarily to attend our granddaughters graduation. It is very conveniently located to SLO, the airport, shopping, restaurants and many beaches. The setting, grounds and design is wonderful. We are planning on returning again, you won’t be disappointed if you stay there.

Our Na-ma-Stay

If ever there was a place that was the very definition of Zen, it would be Hacienda Felise and Casa de los Suenos. The moment we drove through the gate and saw the grounds for the first time, we immediately felt a sense of peace settle over us. The landscape is a gorgeous collection of cacti and other native drought tolerant plants, enhanced by artwork ranging from tile mosaics, Asian statuary and a whimsical mariachi band crafted of sheet metal. The casita itself is done up in Southwest style, featuring prints of many well-known Diego Rivera paintings decorating the walls. It is very comfortable and we could see ourselves living here for weeks at a time! Elise and Frank were perfect hosts and saw to our every need. We were sad to leave but we hope to return soon. The arch over the driveway is inscribed with Namaste. The word distills perfectly how we feel about Hacienda Felise.

One of a kind

We can’t say enough about how impressed we are with Casa de los Suenos, Elise, and the location. The Casita is so well designed, appointed and cared-for. Elise was a welcoming and helpful host both before and during our stay. She has put together a guidebook that can rival many a visitors center. The setting is so restful, quiet and calming, surrounded by unique and beautiful gardens. This is a great location for nearby hiking, beaches, wineries, golfing, and all that Central Coast has to offer. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing wine country stay!

The casita was perfect for my birthday get away. Close to many wineries and a short drive to the beaches. Elise was very helpful and suggested excellent restaurants in the area. We will definitely return. The property is very peaceful.

This property is the perfect locale for a quiet and restful vacation. Property is beautiful and immaculate. Location is convenient to many central coast activities. Amazing Place! Beautiful & so peaceful! 5-Stars ++ Exceeded expectations!

- This place was truly amazing! Pictures posted online do not do it any justice - the casita and grounds are much more beautiful than in pics. - If you're looking for peace and zen this is it! There is something healing about this place. - It was my husband's and my first VRBO! We were a bit nervous as we have not stayed in a VRBO/private estate before so we tried to manage our expectations before we arrived. And I'm more than happy to report that this place exceeded our expectations! - The casita was immaculate which was such a relief as I am extremely OCD on cleanliness. - Beautifully appointed with high-end/quality amenities (from kitchenware, furnishings, linens, washer/dryer, etc.) - Great coffee, water filter system so no need for case of bottled water! -And yoga mats!! - Sweet gestures to welcome guests - from snack basket to the eucalyptus shower bomb from a local business. - My husband & I went up to the Oxygen Room/Bamboo fortress and had some quiet/meditation time. Yoga mats and meditation mats were provided which was such a plus! - The host/innkeeper Elise is such a lovely human with a kindred spirit! She was so welcoming, yet not intrusive! - My husband and I came up the coast for some R&R and we definitely found our respite here! And if only, we could keep this place a secret/to ourselves, but it is so deserving (along with Elise) to be shared!

Holiday getaway

This was by far the best rental property that we have ever stated in! Elise was an excellent communicator right from the beginning and warm & personable! The casita that we stayed in was even nicer than the pictures which is usually not the case. It was clean, had all the amenities you could think of, comfortable, quiet & in the most beautiful location & setting! Elise provided a big book to offer suggestions of where to hike, dine, travel & any other activity you could think of. She offered to help us out in any way & was there with a response right away when I reached out. She gave complimentary snacks, wine, drinks, etc which was such a nice touch! We loved our private deck overlooking the woods as well as the gas fireplace which we used all the time to keep cozy & warm as the weather was damp & rainy a lot while we were there. The location was perfect, near the beaches, downtown, wineries, restaurants, but secluded to have the quietness. For all these reasons, we plan on coming back as it was just perfect in every way!

Amazing area to explore!

This casita was a perfect home base to explore the SLO area. Most everything was 15-20 min or less away; beaches, Cal Poly, wineries, SLO. The house hosts have thought of everything to make it comfortable-yoga mats, night lights, snacks, a book of suggestions of things to do. I would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful and serene

The casita is a perfect getaway spot tucked onto the hill above Pismo. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and there is ample outdoor shared space around the property to slow down and enjoy the sun, the stars, the fog, and the mist. I also worked remotely and had an easy time balancing the work and rest. Elise and Frank were friendly, extremely helpful, and very kind. Highly recommended. We would absolutely book again.

Spent a week at this gorgeous Casita in the hills of AG. The property is so well maintained and lush. The Casita provides all of your needs away from home. Made cooking easy. Wonderful Stay!

This place is amazing. Elise and Frank are great hosts, and made me feel most welcome and at home. And, I slept very well. The cute casita was perfect, and location exactly what I was looking for-- a little off-grid away from crowds but close enough to everything-- wineries, beaches, hiking. I was lucky enough to hear and see two owls while visiting, check out their beautifully-tended gardens, enjoy the bamboo oxygen room, and overall just chill. Elise, thank you for the local wine- it was delicious. I really appreciated all of the details of the decor, the Santa Fe architecture, skylights, deck for taking in nature, and a really cozy bed. Would stay again in a heartbeat - and plan to!

Peace on Earth

It's even better in person

After arriving at Casa de los Suenos I was amazed to find it even better than the pictures showed. Elise obviously designed and decorated the casita with great attention to detail. The color scheme, art work, and quality of materials used in its creation are amazing. And how 'bout a live orchid plant in the bathroom that I managed not to kill during the 12 days we stayed there. And not only is the casita wonderful, but Frank has turned the surrounding land into an enchanted garden......and a full-time job, bless his heart. And all we had to do was sit back, take a deep breath, and enjoy.
