OUr stay was excellent. The place was exactly as the pictures desribe and its right across the streeet from the wine tasting. The pool and jacuzzi were great. Ping pong table, bean bag toss and the beds were comfy and big. Check in and check out process was easy. Great seculded location but close to town for dinner and shopping. Overall excellent time for the whole family.

Amazing Stay in Paso Wine Country

Great property! We enjoyed a weekend with friends in Paso and this was a great place for us to start and end our days. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need. The backyard was perfect for relaxing, swimming and enjoying time in the hot tub. It is a unique property with interesting history, plenty of space and all the amenities you'd want to have a great stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect

Perfect mix of rest and activity. Well appointed with quality furnishings. We cooked out. Hiked. Swam. Chatted at the firepit And of course took the Hearst Ranch winery tour ( thank you Scott and Christina) and drank some outstanding wine. Close to many wineries and breweries. We also shopped in SLO CAL which was very nice. Thanks for being a superb host. We hated to leave.

Wedding Weekend

We stayed here in November 2024 to attend a nearby wedding. We hade 3 generations of family and this house provided the bedrooms and bathrooms we needed. The house was perfect for our needs. It was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the use of the pool, BBQ and exterior for pit.The owner was very good to work with.We would definitely stay again in the future if the need arose

Loved it!!

This place was amazing! I absolutely loved it. The comfortable adobe house, the beautiful views, the pool and hot tub. It was an all around delight and I would definitely book again if I am back in the area. We stayed with a group of friends and had such a great time. The beds were comfy and cozy, there were lots of bathrooms and the kitchen was easy to work in. There was space to spread out and work or chill and room to gather all together. 5 stars!!

Good times were had

There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed our stay. We have been friends for about 30 + years. The house was in a great area close to restaurants, walking areas, and being able to literally walk across the street to wine taste was a big plus:)) The house was equipped with so many things, we enjoyed cooking there for several of our meals. The pool, jacuzzi area were very relaxing. We will stay here again the next time we are in town. Thanks again:)))

Birthday Weekend

It’s was the perfect spot for us to celebrate my husband’s birthday with some family. We grilled burgers one night and then steaks the next. The pool and hot tub were great… would recommend to everyone.

Amazing VRBO!

We had an AMAZING time during our stay at this VRBO. Jim and Margo were so incredibly helpful. It made our stay incredibly easy. If we come back to Paso Robles we will definitely stay here. It felt like we had our own luxury resort all to ourselves! Cannot recommend this VRBO enough! THANK YOU!!!

Perfect Girl’s Weekend

We chose this rental because it had four bedrooms and a pool. We wanted a quiet weekend away as friends of 35+ years who just wanted a place to relax and be able to talk and laugh all weekend. We so enjoyed the access to the winery across the street. We never got back in the car until check out! Well equipped for anything you need from the kitchen to the bathrooms.I highly recommend.

Beautiful wine country ranch house with pool

Spent a long weekend in Paso Robles for a Mid-State Fair concert, wine tasting, Firestone Walker Brewery visit and found this gem with a nice pool and hot tub. The host offered a complimentary wine tasting at the Hearst Ranch Winery directly across the road from this property. We checked in with no issues. The house was clean and cool, and the AC worked great, which was crucial as it was over 100 when we arrived. The kitchen is amazing, and you could buy groceries and never need to leave the property if you so desired. The bedrooms are mainly on one half of the house, so you can nap or go to bed when you want and not be disturbed if others want to stay up late in the living room and dining room areas, which both feed into the kitchen. The pool is great, and it did cool down enough at night that we used the hot tub also. I did need to contact the host as we could not find any way to operate the hot tub on our end, and he responded immediately and was able to turn it on remotely using an app. It would be nice to have a simple panel on site for the guest to turn it on/off and set the temperature, mainly so as not to bother the host, but that is a minor complaint. The winery was very nice, and four of us enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting in the barrel room, which was nice and cool on a hot day. Bought a couple bottles of red to enjoy at home. Our wine server, Maria, was extremely knowledgeable about the wine. Great location for a large family or multiple couples.

Fun and relaxing.

The property is beautiful, cleanliness superb. Well equipped, comfortable beds and fine linen. The only suggestion is mats are needed for the bathtubs. They are extremely slick and dangerous. And hand rails to get out and in the pool and hot tub. Other than that. We had an excellent time. Thanks.

Jim, the host was Was the best host I’ve experienced. I highly recommend the Adobe house. It’s beautiful and tiles and details are amazing. It was a great experience Jim as we checked in was so prompt and returning my call. I have no complaints about my stay. I’m already thinking of coming back ASAP. You get away from the city, so peaceful the views and the sunset behind the olive trees was spectacular, you get a complementary tasting at the hurst winery and they are the same owners as the Adobe house. Rob lots of towels the kitchen is fully equipped. I was so surprised coming back Becky who takes care of. The house was very responsive as well thank you, Jim and Becky for such a wonderful weekend .

Amazing yard and great location

Stayed with a group of 8 for a wine tasting weekend - the location is great, ~10-15 min from downtown Paso, steps away from the Hearst Winery, where we were given complementary tastings in the tasting room. Plenty of parking, easy self check-in, and an absolutely *amazing* backyard. This house is perfect if you will be spending a majority of your time at the property outside, which we did. The layout of the house isn't super clear in the pictures, but there isn't really a large space outside of the dining table for a big group to hang out comfortably indoors -- the common areas are broken up into a few separate, smaller (smaller than they appear in the photos) rooms. The house itself is a little dark, but that does keep it cool. So it may not be best suited if you plan to be hanging out inside a lot. I wouldn't consider the inside of the home as a luxury home, as it is a historic, older home (which is part of the charm!). However, the backyard was just amazing and definitely luxurious. Beautiful views, including sunset views over the trees/fields, amazing pool and hot tub, big dining table and conversation area with a fire pit. They had pool towels and some floaties. The pool wasn't heated, so in early May, not everyone braved it beyond their feet in the water, but it would be perfect in the hotter summer months. The hot tub was heated ahead of our arrival and we made good use of it. Good sized, newer grill outside for BBQs. Would stay again for that backyard & location!

Fabulous home with pool and hot tub

Adobe home was the perfect 2 night stay for my wife’s birthday weekend. Shared with 4 couples. Kitchen stocked with necessities. Enjoyed the fireplaces in living and kitchen. Dining room large with table for all. New pool and hot tub were great with open views to back fields. A small guest house to the side we didn’t realize was even there and had complete privacy. Two bedrooms are suites. Two smaller bedrooms in hall share the second bath. 3rd full bath other side of kitchen we didn’t really need. Full laundry. We all enjoyed the special decorations and furnishings throughout. Plush towels and nice touches. Hearst Winery across the street and didn’t realize the two were connected by ownership when booked, so that’s bonus. Short enough ride share to downtown Paso Robles. Definitely would book again. Thank you!

Surprise Engagement

My close friends and I stayed at this beautiful home 4 years ago for a friends wedding. My now boyfriend and I reconnected that weekend and our friendship blossomed into romance. This weekend he proposed to me in the very spot in the backyard we spent years ago enjoying the beauty, peace, and happiness of this place. This is our “happy place.”

Great location, beautiful property

We rented this home for a gathering with friends. The house was immaculate and fully stocked. Four couples had plenty of space and privacy. As a bonus the house is directly across the street from the Hearst tasting room, a preeminent winery. There is nothing that could have been done to make the stay better or easier. Put this home at the top of your list in Paso Robles
