Peri was the BEST VRBO host we have ever had. She communicated well, gave clear instructions and was available at all hours. What an amazing experience for my grandchildren (age 10 and 12). Peri went above and beyond explaining everything quite thoroughly. I can’t say enough about how positive every moment was that we spent on the property. The house was clean, roomy, up to date with many amenities. I highly recommend this property.

I have never experienced a host such gracious as Peri. She spent extra hours per day with the grandkids making sure they all had tuns walking the horses, feeding the animals, finding bugs for the ducks, etc. AMAZING!!!!!!!!The house had so many coaches, beds, etc. for sleeping. Extremely clean, it was wonderful from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. It was an absolute Delight and my grandkids did not want to leave. I was looking for something different than a typical house with a pool for the grandkids and this was it, BEST EVER!!!!!!!

The house is large and beautiful. Peri let my girls help to feed the goats, chickens, pig, and horses. She was so patient with the girls. There was 5 acres with fruit trees. We picked plums that were delicious. Peri had wet suits and boogie boards. The girls had so much fun at the beach.

Pictures don't do this cozy, warm house justice. Felt like home. Perfect place for a family gathering. Lots of nice touches throughout the house. Host is super helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at the farm house!

Peri and Jeff were great hosts! My family had such a great time at their beautiful home. Peri gave us a tour upon arrival of the house and later of the farm. We loved feeding all the animals and spending time with them. Peri also had some recommendations on some local attractions that turned out to be great. I highly recommend this place. My family and I will be back in the future.

Peaceful time

The property and owners were wonderful! The house was beautiful, clean, and plenty of room. We had plenty of amenities, towels, blankets, etc. My children loved the animals, spending time with them, and helping to feed them (a real high light!!) . It was so peaceful and quiet, just what we needed for some quality family time.

Relaxing stay, great hosts!

Wonderful stay at Zen Farms! We were 4 adults, 2 kids (age 2 and 4), plus two dogs looking for a quiet, large space for the kids to “roam”. Peri and Jeff are overcommunicative, wonderful hosts who had everything prepared for our arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and bake for the whole family— there is even an instant pot! Peri invited us to help feed and brush the animals (goats, mini horses, ducks, fish, chickens, and pigs!) each morning and afternoon, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.The home is very spacious, with three bedrooms two bathrooms upstairs and a twin room half bath downstairs. The pool table is located in the family room, the farthest from the upstairs bedrooms, so our sleeping kids wouldn’t hear anything. The house is also equipped with multiple gates (for kids or dogs), an extra twin mattress (which we used for one of the kiddos), and a pack n play, and PLENTY of sheets, towels, blankets, and robes. There are also beach chairs, boogie boards, and wetsuits of all sizes (including for kids)— honestly we’ve never stayed in a more well-stocked home.The location is on the Mesa in Arroyo Grande, about 15 min drive from Pismo Beach, 10 min from Oceano, and 20-25 min from SLO. Close enough to everything you need (grocery stores, beach) and far enough from the city that it’s very quiet and you can see all the stars at night. We’ll be back!

Milestone Birthday Celebration

We chose the property for the animals, but the house, land was beyond lovely. We lucked out with weather so we could really enjoy the beautiful farm. Perri was an amazing host, letting us know when to come out to feed the animals with her!

WOW! Magical, Peaceful and Perfectly located!

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations! The adults and kids alike are already talking about returning. During our one week stay we quickly learned the beautiful home was icing on the cake, the real treasures of this property are Peri, Jeff and the animals! Peri took so much time and care to educate and provide a life long joyful memory for our granddaughters with the animals every day of their stay. They are now asking for their own goats, pigs and chickens. We truly felt like we were "home" while we were there. Communication was easy and all of our questions answered quickly. The home itself was clean, family friendly, comfortable and well stocked! You have everything you need from cozy blankets to a fully stocked kitchen if you choose to bring food to cook. Jeff even took the extra steps to provide my husband with fresh cut wood and a bbq! There is plenty of room for everyone and we especially loved all the cozy seating areas outside all around the property! There are games, puzzles, a pool table, a really fun popcorn machine, a rope swing and many other things we didn't have time to use like wetsuits and boogie boards. I would give their location a 10 out of 10! We were less than 15 minutes from Pismo Beach Pier and yet far enough away from everything that it felt peaceful and private. We visited 5 beaches while we were in the area and never drove more than 35 minutes! I could go on and on but, I'm out of space. I will end by saying, we will be back!

Great Place for a Family Get-Together

Ten of us spent two nights here while visiting with each other and with family members who live in the area. The house easily accommodated our entire group and was a nice place to hang out - lots of room both inside and out. Hosts Peri and Jeff were wonderful and very accommodating. We joined them in the feeding of the animals one morning and were treated to fresh eggs from their hens later that day.

Great Family Experience

Everything about the listing was accurate. Jeff and Peri were absolutely the best hosts we have had. They were very accommodating and provided a unique experience that my family will cherish, most notably my younger children. They all loved the place that we stayed and keep asking to go back. Aside from the memories that we made, the house itself was exactly as listed. It was clean, spacious, and appropriately decorated. It felt like home. The kitchen had all the necessities, the closets had linens and towels and there was enough fun activities around the place and inside to keep anyone entertained. The location was in a great area too. It felt like you were miles away from everything when in reality you were close to the beach and close to an active social atmosphere around the cities. We had great communication back and forth with anything that we may have needed and that is always welcomed I will be recommending this place to everyone I know, especially if they have children, because it was such a great experience. We are already planning our return trip just for the house.

Perfect

What an amazing property. All the feel of a 5 star hotel buy yours alone. One of the best getaways we have ever had. Peri and Jeff went above and beyond as hosts. The fresh eggs were a treat. So many relaxing areas inside and out of the property I finished my book and had to get another. And a pool table and popcorn machine! Be still my heart. That was only one of the special touches.

Wonderful stay at the farm

We had such a wonderful time at the farm. My granddaughters (6, 8) loved helping to feed the animals, brush them, gather eggs and petting the dog and cat. Peri was wonderful with the girls. She is so patient. The home is beautiful and quite large. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the dishes and pots that we needed. The cool temperatures were lovely in July. There are many places around the home to sit outside and look over their beautiful property. We will visit again.

Amazing Farm House

Fun and clean spacious family farm house! Peri was an amazing host! Responded right away and was amazing with the kiddos. She let us know when the feeding time was for the animals which the kids looked forward to everyday to help feed and interact with them. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Beautiful showers and tub! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed to cook. We were here for the weekend for my moms birthday and would def be back. This is def the place for a family vaca. Close to oceano beach ( sand dunes), Pismo beach and San Luis Obispo

Wonderful family get-together at Zen Farms!

We had a such a fun family reunion at Zen Farms! It was easy to coordinate and a big property so everyone had room to relax. The house had plenty of room with a pool table, large kitchen for cooking and an outside bbq. The backyard allowed us to set up our cornhole and the kids could run around. Peri was awesome and checked our schedule to make sure the kids could feed the animals with her (which they loved). We will definitely be back next year!

Great Get a Way!

We had a quick weekend away for the family and the location was perfect. The host, Peri, was extremely accommodating and worked to make it a great weekend for us. The house and property is set up perfect for a large family of all ages. Considering that the property sits on a farm, we were surprised at how clean it was...the true test was the baby crawling on the floor and still having clean clothes! Peri was so great with the kids and let them feed the animals and spent the time to teach the kids about the animals as well. The downstairs seems to be designed for a large group with lots of open space and large game room. The kitchen is very well stocked and there wasn't a single appliance that we couldn't find. It is so nice not have to bring basic things with you. There is a fruit stand just a few minutes away with lots of great fruit which we picked up on the way. We would recommend this property and add it to the list for a future visit.
