"The host was very polite and courteous. Love the little cabin bed very comfortable perfect for what we need it just a suggestion. They should throw some signs out there for the passerby’s to slow down as they kick up the dust. It’s on a dirt road. The highlight of it is there’s a running creek behind the cabins. "

"If you looking for a place to relax and enjoy nature this is the perfect property. The property is close to Durango but far enough out of town to see the wildlife. Great fly fishing is just a few feet from the front door of the cabin. "

"We absolutely loved this place - we wanted privacy on the mountain and that's what we got! We walked out the door and hiked up a mountain, we drove 5 minutes and checked out Pinkerton Hot Spring, we drove N. 25 minutes and hiked Cascades waterfall! The house has EVERYTHING we needed and was appointed with everything I forgot to bring, a true delight while on vacay with children! The only complaint about our stay - we didn't realize the highway would be so loud. At night there isn't much traffic...

"The property in Lake Purgatory drive was perfect for our vacation in July. There was a beautiful view of the mountains and hummingbirds that we enjoyed while relaxing on the back deck. Temperatures were perfect as it is about ten degrees cooler than the city of Durango. All of the accommodations were wonderful. The owners original artwork was a unique touch that we enjoyed. We highly recommend the property!"

"The cabin was perfect. Very clean and exactly as described in the add. The only discrepancy was the Internet information that was sent to us had a different network name, this was not an issue as the correct information was on the instructions at the cabin. Our dogs loved the backyard."
