    Welcome to Tropical Haven, your beachfront retreat at Malibu Beachfront Apartments in Loíza, Puerto Rico! This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom first-level apartment sleeps a maximum of 5 guests and is perfect for a relaxing getaway. It offers direct access to the beach, a community pool, and all the comforts of home. With stunning ocean views and modern amenities, this is the ideal space for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy a tropical escape. Tropical Haven offers air conditioning in all bedrooms and living areas for your comfort.

    FOR YOUR SAFETY AND PEACE OF MIND, TROPICAL HAVEN IS EQUIPPED WITH AN EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERA ON ITS TERRACE. THIS IS FOR SECURITY PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT MONITORED DURING YOUR STAY, ENSURING YOUR PRIVACY IS ALWAYS RESPECTED.





    LIVING SPACES



    Step into the spacious living area, designed for comfort and relaxation. The open layout includes a cozy seating area with a flat-screen TV, perfect for movie nights or unwinding after a day at the beach. A dining table is conveniently located right beside the kitchen, offering a comfortable spot for indoor meals. Glass sliding doors lead out to your private beachfront patio with a charcoal bbq, which features a dining table and outdoor seating area—ideal for enjoying meals al fresco or simply relaxing while taking in the ocean breeze and stunning views.





    SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS



    This apartment comfortably accommodates up to five guests. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom includes a full-size bed and a flat-screen TV, while the third bedroom has a twin bed, perfect for children or solo travelers. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning to keep you cool and comfortable. The second bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway, making it ideal for guests in the second and third bedrooms or those in the living room.     PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):



    We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.





    KITCHEN



    The fully equipped kitchen is ready for all your culinary needs. It includes an oven, microwave, coffee maker (with coffee provided), refrigerator, freezer, and all the cookware, plates, utensils, and essentials needed for an extended stay. You'll find ample counter space and two kitchen stools for additional seating, making it easy to enjoy quick meals or keep the chef company while preparing dinner.





    GETTING AROUND & PARKING



    The property includes two (2) parking spaces, making it easy to come and go as you please.



    A rental car is needed to explore the area and its surroundings, as Ubers and Taxis are limited in the area and should not be relied on.





    LOCATION



    Tropical Haven is located in Loíza, offering a peaceful, off-the-beaten-path beach experience. It’s about a 30-35 minute drive from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU), making it easily accessible for travelers. Enjoy the cultural richness of the area, with nearby attractions like the Piñones boardwalk, which is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the lush El Yunque Rainforest, approximately a 30-minute drive from the property. Whether you want to lounge by the pool, explore the beach, or embark on an island adventure, this location offers it all.



    Other Things to Note:

    STARTER AMENITIES



    At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



    All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.



    We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



    - 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

    - 3 garbage bags

    - 1 roll of paper towels

    - 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

    - 1 dish soap

    - 1 dish sponge



    Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



    Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





    HOUSE RULES



    RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



    NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



    NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



    QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



    UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



    MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 5 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



    OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



    TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



    TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



    SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





    CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



    Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



    If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



    If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



    Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





    TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



    We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



    Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

    We want your stay at West Indies Vacation Rental to be smooth and enjoyable. You can message us anytime after booking with questions. Starting 5 days before arrival, your designated Property Manager will also be available to answer any additional questions you may have prior to arrival. Beautiful destination, well worth the price. The beach was fairly empty for our whole 5 day stay. The apartment was clean and well maintained with everything we needed to assist us in relaxing. The only gripe we had was regarding the water pressure which was out of our hosts hands as water leak could be seen trickling up through the asphalt in the complex’s parking lot. Our air conditioner was on the fritz, however the host made us aware and had a technician fix the problem promptly the next morning!

Gorgeous Views & Amazing Patio for Remote Work

We had a great stay at this property. Overall the property was well maintained with the exception of some mold in the master bedroom and some broken bathroom fixtures. The hot water in the shower was temperamental but manageable. We did inform the owners and they said they would be addressing. The view and patios were spectacular and the beach was gorgeous. We did have our shoes stolen that we had left by the gated entrance to the beach, so I would say don't leave any belongings unattended. We had our two daughters with us and they loved playing on the lawn just off the patio while I worked. The pool was clean and never over occupied. I would recommend this property to family who want to get away and enjoy the sun and the beach in peach and quiet. all the property owners were super nice and welcoming too.

Spring Break

The condo we stayed in was ground level and we loved being able to sit out on the covered patio in the morning and see/hear the ocean. The beach was quiet, there were 4 days where we were the only one's out on the beach. The condo was quiet, didn't have loud people above us. We did find that the kitchen could have used more items (baking sheet, more spatulas) as we make most of our food in. It also would have been nice if they provided more dish towels, especially since there is not dishwasher so we had to dry all the dishes by hand. And no draining tray for the dishes, which was tricky. We found that the large bidet in the middle of the primary bathroom was difficult to maneuver around. Not only was it an eye sore, but made the countertop space of the sink a little tricky to get to and utilize. Another thing that would have been nice is to have a gas grill available (even if just a tiny one) for those days when the power goes out on the island (which it did for us).

Perfectly peaceful and relaxing!!

There were four of us who stayed at this lovely spot and we thoroughly enjoyed it!! The beach was gorgeous, steps away from the lanai, and never had more than 5-7 other people on it. It was so peaceful and relaxing - exactly what we needed!! The condo was quaint, had plenty of room, supplies and towels! AC units in each room was wonderful for people liking to sleep at different temps! The pool was a bonus and great as well!! Highly recommend this for a relaxing and quiet getaway!!!

It was the perfect escape from Winter

The property was as great as the photos! A couple of extra surprises were that the security with a gated property was a plus, there was a backyard that we could walk in, and it was quiet! The porch facing the ocean was so peaceful especially early morning. Our host Paola was fast to answer any questions we had about the area, laundry facilities, and local restaurants, etc. Check-in and check-out was super easy. There are two grocery stores that carry the things we needed from back home - Ralphs and Walmart. I preferred the drive to Walmart though it was more crowded and I believe a bit higher on prices. Easy drive from the airport. We would definitely rent here again when coming to PR!

Loved our Stay!

We stayed at the Tropical Haven Beachfront home for a little over a week, and loved every minute of it. It is conveniently located just a short drive from San Juan, El Yunque, and other attractions. Best of all, it was right on the beach. My kids spent nearly every morning on the beach, playing in the sand. When we arrived the home was immaculately clean. Our stay was wonderful - the beds were comfortable, we had ample bath towels, and the neighbors were very friendly. Paola was extremely responsive to all of our questions. We were in search of a laundromat half-way through our stay, and she quickly responded with options for us. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!
