This is a beautiful house that takes full advantage of the nature around it. Absolutely stunning views from the deck and the social area with the pool table. The kids absolutely loved the plunge pool and how accessible the location was to all the island had to offer.

Great house. Very relaxing stay in the jungle. The house had everything my family needed for a comfortable stay. There were a few different livi g areas, so no one felt like they were on top of each other when we were home from the beach and jungle trips. I had a small problem connecting the tv and the owers were very responsive and help me rectify quickly. I would definitely be looking to stay again. Thank you.

We had an amazing trip to Puerto Rico! My husband and I along with our 2 sons (20 & 16) enjoyed this home very much. We each had our own spaces and the house was equipped with everything we needed and more. It’s close to a few grocery stores Walmart, Ralph’s, and another smaller grocery store up the mountain that has an awesome sandwich shop in it. We ate there twice and my sons are still talking about those sandwiches. (The information for that grocery store is in the info book at the house). The little pool was perfect for hanging out and enjoying the nightly serenade of the Coqui frogs. It is up pretty high on the mountain, but the views and the home make it worth it, and is a nice comfortable place to come back to after a long day of exploring. Our rental car battery was dead one morning, and April and Jarl were very helpful in helping us. They called a friend who lived close who came to help us and ended up letting us borrow his car battery so we could drive to get a new one. Very nice! I miss sitting on the patio and watching the rain. My younger son stayed in the downstairs bedroom. We set up the box fans (one at the top of the stairs to blow ac down there and one in his room) to get air circulating down there and he said it was fine. We will definitely be back! The drive seems long at first but after a couple days, we appreciated being up there in this beautiful home away from all the hustle and bustle of the crowded city areas. Thank you for our stay!

The house has everything you would want on a vacation and the views are spectacular. My family thoroughly enjoyed relaxing here after our daily adventures. The hosts were very helpful with information about the surrounding areas and things my family might want to try while there. I highly recommend this little slice of paradise for your next get away!

Very relaxing. Everything inside and outside was gorgeous. The person who mowed the lawn while i was there even prepared a coconut straight from one of the trees for me and I tried coconut water right from the coconut for the first time ever, it was delicious.

Our family loved our stay here, the view is amazing!

Very clean, very spacious, amazing view with covered outdoors areas to enjoy it. Host was very responsive too, which really helped when our flight was delayed by 9 hours and we were arriving at the house at 1am. A/C worked well, which was important for me with a disease that makes me heat intolerant. Bathrooms very nice and obviously remodeled. If you want a relaxing and beautiful place, stay here. Realize however, that it is 30-45 minutes from anything (El Yunque, the beaches, San Juan), but we liked that. We wanted to be in beautiful nature, and driving through the mountains to go places was a plus for us. Listening to the coqui frogs was amazing, and the frogs are literally everywhere on the property. We were able to see them and take close up pictures without disturbing them. All the pictures on the listing showing the interior of the house are accurate, that's exactly what it all looks like. Master bedroom is very spacious. Having a laundry room was a big help too, as the rainforest had definitely muddied our clothes. The plunge pool was clean and a great temperature. It is shallow, which was great for us because there were no worries that my young son needed to be watched all the time.

Peaceful retreat

Everything was as advertised. We saw lots of fruit on the property, but unfortunately they were not ripe enough to eat while we were there. The island lost power but the house generator kicked on automatically and we had no disruptions. We will not miss the narrow curvey roads. Those were exhausting from the beginning.

Wonderful all around

First of all -the view. Paired with the spacious design... you can admire the view from the beautiful living room, from the large porch, from the large patio area, from the little pool. Very well equipped. Good beds. Good AC. Great open spaces. Teenagers loved the casita. Owners are great communicators. No real downsides except maybe paucity of electrical outlets. But the kitchen has many. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

As advertised, and the pictures do not do justice to this beautiful home. We were entirely comfortable staying here for two months. The house heats up during the day but this is easily and quickly controlled by the powerful house air conditioners. After a long hike in El Yunque or relaxing at the beach, the fresh water plunge pool (ambient) helped cool us. The narrow, paved road up to the house, (PR 956), is challenging but do-able with some practice. Once down the mountain, PR 3 and 66 provide convenient access to groceries, fast food, restaurants, beaches and the rainforest. Back at the house, the neighborhood is full of life. During the day, one hears roosters, dogs, cats, doves, and boat-tailed grackles. In the evening, the cars and trucks coming home from work can be noisy, but by 8 PM things have quieted and coqui start singing. Enchanting sound on the enchanted isle.
