My son and i had a great time and at the place we stayed at. The people are so nice n friendly. The place was clean and nice we felt like we where at home being down here. Love san juan old city. There a lot of good food spots to go eat at. The ladnlord was very nice and really helped me out. Beautiful scenery the forrest. Theres a museum down the road. San juan is only like 20 mins away the ocean was great fish swimming between your legs and its so cool. We had fun my son and I. When i come again with a friend. No kids ill have even more fun. Lol. But the place was very clean nice looking we had a nice stay. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Vacation in Puerto Rico

The place was an old building and did not have an electrical outlet for the hair dryer in the bathroom. The bedroom also has one electric outlet for the air conditioner. We stayed for 9 days, and the owner only provided 2 bath towels.

Simple and Sweet

This cute little apartment is a simple place to stay. It was perfect for just 2 people. We enjoyed walking to the bakery and cafe in the mornings. The topical sounds outside our window was relaxing at night.

Local, clean, and comfy

I had an excellent stay at this apartment! The place was spotless, intimate, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—close to many restaurants and shops as well as El museo del Niño. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The place is great neighbors not so much

I lost a lot of sleep during my stay. Neighbors kids constantly crying like they were in severe pain starting from 3a-6a every night, adults arguing and Endless dirt bikes up and down the road after 12a. Our stay was from a Tuesday - Friday. That is the only reason for 3 stars. Other than that The host and place were great.

Just a shell

I had to buy dish soap, trash bags, paper towels ,toilet paper. A/C was to small for the whole apartment, WIFI was so slow it wasn’t worth trying to use it. It is no where near a beach without a car. It’s just a shell.

I was never given the internet password, also the code to get keys to go in the owner was veru rude to me and to the agent of cheaptickets.com he hung up the call when agent asking him questione he was very rude also the bed made lost of noise when sitting or moving very loud terrible noise & also loose. I will never stay there again terrible service terrible cstomer service by the owner :)

Weekend Getaway

Nice space for two people. Esaul was a very good host, we met him on our first day in SJ, so he was accessible if needed. We didn't have any problems with the property at all. It was in a good location, close to the airport, and most of the major attractions in the city.

Low-cost accommodation in a safe neighborhood near San Juan

Overall our stay was decent. Our host was very nice and he responded to every question or need immediately...so appreciated! Pros: clean, quiet older neighborhood, convenient to San Juan and all major highways, nearby Costco, Walmart, etc. Cons: The apartment was on the second floor, although the photo left us with a first floor impression. If this information was in the listing, I missed it. The amenities are very basic, so it felt a bit institutional rather than minimalist but worked for our needs this trip. The apartment is open air in the kitchen, LR and bath but air conditioned in bedroom for the nights. We turned it off during the day and left windows and doors open for a nice breeze.

Great Location, Subpar Host

This was, an interesting stay. Upon arrival we were met with broken glass, and a dripping light fixture in the kitchen. Which were easy fixes that honestly don’t matter. However, it was the host throwing rocks at our window to get our attention that really set the tone for our stay here. It was an attempt to get our attention that we had parked in the wrong spot… when he could’ve just knocked on the door. Ultimately, we liked that the area was more local and not in the touristy part of town but, things could’ve been better. 6/10, would recommend but with a warning.

Nice size, basic accommodations in typical Puerta Rican neighborhood. Good selection of cookware and dishes. Felt safe. Market down the street had a bit of everything and were super helpful. Older property but clean. Would stay again.
