A few glitches with the local infrastructure outside the owners control but he was always proactive with communication and did everything possible to adjust to make our stay pleasant. Would definitely stay in property managed by this host again

We had such a great time. The location is great-in short walking distance of great food and the beach. Rey was kind and timely with information. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated having the washer and dryer on hand as well as the beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us, Rey. We truly enjoyed being able to explore everything around us.

Rey was an excellent host. He was very good about responding to any questions we had. It was very nice that the Villa had water tanks on the roof because there were water repairs in San Juan during our stay which affected availability of water. Because of the tanks we had water at the Villa. It was walking distance to many coffee shops and restaurants. Only having a two block walk to the beach was great. On weekends in the daytime due to the proximity of the beach the streets around the Villa became parked up. If you came back from errands and there was no parking there is a paid parking lot not far away on Calle Loiza. Overall we had a great stay.

Summer Getaway

Very well kept Villa that served us well for our brief visit to San Juan. Gated and secure neighborhood and very close to the best beach in San Juan. Walking distance to the supermarket, pharmacy and several nice restaurants. Property manager is highly communicative and helpful. We had a great time here!

We all loved the Villa! Location is quiet and safe without feeling locked in. Beach access is easy and relaxed for the urban area. We walked for groceries and dining nearby then Uber for old town. Great stay!

Wonderful stay in a quiet and safe neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay. Rey was very responsive. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach and many great restaurants. Finding our way into the gated neighborhood was a little tricky, and the gates close after hours but we never returned that late in the evening. Only feedback is there is a yucky water spot on the ceiling above one of the showers that should be fixed. Everything else was so perfect, so it stood out. Overall, I'd highly recommend.

Very comfortable space. Good A/C. Our visit occurred during an island wide blackout but the villa has a generator. Host was right on the generator issue and taught us what to do.

Great location

The unit was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. It is in a separate building; there are no living quarters above or below. The air conditioning worked well. The hurricane blinds block out the light, so you don’t wake up at dawn. We had no problem finding on street parking.The photos on VRBO depict a well maintained residence, however we had some issues.There was a leak in the ensuite bathroom bathtub when we arrived. The owner mopped up the water and advised us to put towels alongside the tub. Leakage was not a problem after that. The bathtub faucet has a handheld shower. When it was switched to shower mode, water continued to flow from the faucet making the shower flow inadequate. The light switch in the en suite bathroom was very difficult to find at night.The hall bathroom has a small separate shower with good water pressure and temperature. The lights on the backlit mirrors do not work and the frosting has deteriorated and is unsightly. The ceiling fixture is the only light in the kitchen. The light switch is in the pantry, making it extremely difficult to turn the light on at night even when the hall lights are on.

Fantastic Stay in San Juan!

This property was a 10/10 on all aspects. From the outside, the villa is clean and beautiful and parking was always readily available in front of the house. When we entered inside, we were all amazed at how accurately the home is depicted from the listing photos...it truly does look just as lovely in person! All of the beds were incredibly comfortable, there was plenty of seating inside for us to eat and hang out, and the covered outdoor deck was enjoyable to relax on. There were plenty of kitchen tools to utilize for cooking while we were there, and we were provided plenty of bath & beach towels so we didn't have to worry about bringing our own or washing while we were there. We loved how secure the property felt, as the neighborhood is a gated community there is a locked gate that requires a code to enter into the villa. Rey was a wonderful host who was always available to answer questions, and provided clear check-in instructions prior to arrival. Many thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Ocean Park Bliss

Our group of 6 had an amazing experience - the home was just it appears on the app and is comfortable, with everything provided in the well-stocked kitchen, to the bathrooms, to laundry, and beach-going essentials. AC was strong and worked well, great water pressure, comfy beds and a fun outdoor patio. Couldn't have asked for better. Easy walk to numerous restaurants, groceries, beach, coffee/cafes.

Cute house in great location!

The house was very clean, air conditioning worked very well, and check in/check out was so easy. Great place with cute restaurants nearby and walkable to a perfect beach. Ray was very responsive and provided everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place with a caveat

The Property is great and the neighborhood is safe with a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. The only issue that we need to bring up is the problems we had related to electricity. There was a power surge on Saturday when we arrived. It fried the 12 cup coffee maker and the refrigerator. Not knowing that the refrigerator was dead we stocked it. The owner did reimburse us for the lost food, and gave us $100 for our troubles . However, we did not have a refrigerator to use for the entire trip. From Saturday until Tuesday night, the property was struggling with electricity. It was switching from a generator to city power. When it would switch, we would need to go down to the street level and throw a switch. One night we needed to go down to the street at 12:30am. Again, the property was great and the neighborhood is great. The property manager did his best and responded when we texted him. The electrical issues are not limited to this area. This is something that we feel others need to know that can happen at this property.
