The check in and check out instructions were not clear from the host. We had to reach out multiple times a day or two before the stay to ask for check in instructions and the actual location of the apartment. Check out instructions were given verbally by the person who greeted us at the apartment, and the host never reached out with actual instructions. The place is in a good location, and has a great view. The actual apartment itself was okay (couch was uncomfortable and in an awkward spot, the bed was super hard, the walls had poorly fixed holes), but it was good for the price and considering that we didn't spend much time there other to sleep.

Let me start Jose was great from beginning to end he got back to me within 12 hours. The apartment pictures don’t do it justice. It was clean and had everything I needed for my three day stay. Waking up to the Mountains seeing having a amazing pool view I will definitely stay again

This was a great rental place for my stay in San Jose. The building is very modern and has good security. The apartment is clean, well equipped, and well kept. The property manager was courteous and responsive to any inquiries overall, a terrific place to stay.

Short walk to dt

To me it was a great location. Its far enough from downtown but still walkable to/from. Clean room. There may be a coffee maker in the cupboards but I didnt see it and I would have loved to have one in the room. Other than that I enjoyed this place and Id recommend it to those that dont want to be too far or too close to downtown.

Stay atop San Jose

The unit was a good size. The bed was comfortable and we had all we needed for housekeeping and cooking for nearly a week. Grocery stores are walking distance. The sites are about 15-20 minutes away walking. Great restaurants to the north in Barrio Escalante. We swam in the slightly heated pool, despite the strong winds. When the sun shone it was pleasant to be out there. Had a little challenge using the combined washer dryer so if you are not familiar with the machine, ask for instructions from the owner. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and the view from the unit was great!

Good place to stay, but more details on location needed.

I would suggest that communication about location include the name of the building and the section of the city, i.e., Latitud Yoses, San Pedro, San José. That would have made my getting here MUCH easier than simply Calle 35, San José. Since Call35 is only a block and a half long, locals cannot even tell you where it is. More detail would have been much more helpful.

This small 1bdrm apartment on higher floor was great for our purpose. It was safe to walk during the day, had a front desk person at the property at all hours, had on site parking, and was near the highway. The unit was clean and comfortable for 2. It also has a great taco place right next door and a grocery nearby.

Excellent accomodations!

We were only in town for a brief 2 night stay to visit our son who is studying in Costa Rica this summer. We wanted to be near his universidad and host family since we had never been to San Jose. This apartment was perfect. The cleanliness, security, location, and views are excellent. We didn't use the pool but that looked wonderful, too. The host was also very responsive. It was an overall wonderful experience.

Beautiful apartment that is well kept and close to many opportunities.

Enjoyed my stay here as it was so close to the great eateries of Escalante, a mall and supermarket a couple hundred meters away, and central downtown about a 20 minute walk (for a 65 year old!). The hybrid washer/dryer was a plus as well as the Ac in the bedroom although I only used it once. The breeze with the patio door open was refreshing and sufficient for even the muggy 80°F days. Easy access to apartment and safe neighborhood. If you are looking for an easy, no worries type of place that is clean and modern at a reasonable price, this is a good choice.
