This review is for Villa Violeta (sister property to Villa Caleta)

Outstanding location, remote “jungle type” property, unparalleled food service, friendly, professional and accommodating staff. The property is stunning. It is private with close up ocean views and a beautiful swimming beach. It is perched high atop a hillside and the only drawback we found was the number of stairs (many! with no hand rails) and the general “open type railing” around pool/decks/casitas - made this property unsafe for children and unfriendly for people with mobility issues. We (3 generations with 8 adults/one 2yr old), had the most wonderful week. The bldgs are somewhat rustic - our kids called it treehouse living - and as is true for properties in remote locations, maintenance issues pop up. The most limiting of those was one casita with no hot water during our stay. The fabulous meals and their presentation, as well as Mario’s unbridled joy when preparing and serving those dishes, were a highlight. Yesika, the villa’s mgr, is a joy. You can ask anything and count on her to deliver. One last note. Like every VRBO, this prop is yours to enjoy and care for during your stay. Because it has staff does not make it a hotel (with daily fresh bed linens, pool cleaning, beach towels picked up, raked sand, etc.). Would we come again?ABSOLUTELY! However we would not bring a little one with us.

Outstanding trip!

This is our 2nd time staying at the property and the service really does blow us away everything. The house manager, Yeskia, makes you feel so at home and is reachable at anytime for all of your needs. The group that I traveled with thanked me repeatedly after our vacation for planning everything, however, there really was not much for me to do! The team at Villa Caleta handles everything for you from food, drinks, transportation, sight seeing recommendations and excursions. It's the most relaxing vacation I've ever been on. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all served outside on the deck overlooking the ocean. Nothing beats this vacation

Fabulous Girls Weekend in Jurassic Park

I recently stayed at the Villa Caleta for my Birthday and Bachelorette party with 10 girls, and I must say the experience exceeded my expectations! The staff was very friendly and helped us arrange everything. We stayed at the house (which did not get boring in the slightest) all but one evening, when we drove into Sayulita (~30 min) to shop and eat dinner. I'm glad we went to the town, however, I could have easily just stayed at the house since we were only there for a long weekend (Thurs-Sunday). All meals were fabulous - we'd all wait to hear that bell and see what tasty treat would arrive next! Highly recommend the margaritas and fish tacos for lunch. And the afternoon snack bowls of guacamole were top notch. We spent about 50% of our time between pool and beach. A nice mix of lounging/sunbathing and wave battling. The water is nice but there are some big waves that come through. There were chairs and beach blankets/towels set up at both. Just when you think - "Wow! I could use a drink!" you realize coolers filled with water/etc are waiting for you. One afternoon, they brought us fresh coconuts! We brought a speaker for the beach, but the house/pool has sonos which was great. The vibe of the Villa is so amazing Airy/authentic/contemporary/beachy/relaxed all come to mind. Rooms are super private and would be great for couples trip. I stayed in the master suite at the top of the house. It was lovely... a private, open air rain shower looking out in the ocean is really something special. And I certainly did not hear one complaint from the rest of the ladies either. Must say, the en suite bathrooms in the main house were very, very cool. There's plenty of nooks in the house if you need a moment to yourself. I would say, it's worth noting, the house is open air with exception of one room. If you are conditioned to sleeping in AC, just be prepared. By 8 AM, it was starting to be a little warm for me, but again, I'm used to sleeping in AC. I would think though, regardless, the summer would be hot. Also, put your bags up! We had one incident where a little critter ate through a travel bag and set of headphones! In closing, I would say I rarely want to visit the same place twice, but this house might just be an exception to that rule. A truly unique property which I recommend to anyone. This is a dream come true, amazing Villa!

It’s hard to begin a review on such a mesmerizing experience. We were here in April on a family vacation 7 adults with three toddlers in tow. From the moment you arrive and see the stunning views of the ocean and explore the beauty of this Villa it is an adventure in itself. This place does not disappoint in any way. We enjoyed wonderful food prepared by our great Chefs Exa and Tere, play time at our our private beach with cocktails and fresh coconuts brought down to us by the staff. After a wonderful lunch then it’s pooltime, this is when the adult fun begins. Martin brings down these wonderful Margaritas! (Beware he is not selfish with the tequila). Sunset Dinners , relaxation , dancing , massages in a most beautiful setting with ocean sounds in the background, bonfire with s’mores are just a few of the great experiences this Oasis has to offer. Spending a day in San Pancho and Sayulita is a must although getting back is important as you don’t want to miss out on any time you can spend in this breathtaking Villa. Our family had one of the best vacations of their lives here. No one was disappointed. We are still talking about the memories we created here. Special credits goes to all the staff that make this an amazing experience beginning with Yesika that is available to all your needs just a text away . Tere, Exa , Mayra, Raquel, Edna, Germain, Luis , Martin (tequila man) and of course Oso the Villa pet. You are what makes this Villa complete . Beautiful open air house with complete privacy

This house has been completely renovated and can fit everyone great. The staff takes care of your every need. Yes there are bugs. Yes you can't flush toilet paper. But, you're waking up with yoga (if you want) and being served pitchers of fresh pina colada's without even asking. I can't say enough about the incredible team that greets you. Can't wait to be back!

An Ocean Paradise with Five Star Cuisine

From the moment we stepped out of the airport van, we knew we had landed in paradise. Our family of 5 along with our dear friends who are a family of 4 stayed at Villa Caleta over spring break. I truly have never seen a prettier piece of property in all of my travels. The house is clean, open, airy, beautifully decorated…and sits right atop the ocean. The decor is out of a professional magazine with charming and artistic touches throughout the property. We loved the open living area, but also appreciated the individual suites for privacy (and naps). There are so many different levels and nooks to unwind and relax and soak it all in. You will never be at a loss of where to go. While nothing can beat the beauty of Caleta, the staff and the food just might come close. It is difficult to explain in words the unbelievable meals that we ate every day…3 times a day! We are no strangers to fine dining, but the cuisine at Caleta was some of the best food we have ever had. And we are a difficult bunch…our group had a vegan, a gluten allergy, lactose intolerance, and picky kids. Everything was so incredibly fresh and the flavors just danced in every dish. We were there for a week, and I don’t think any dish was ever repeated. Huevos rancheros, potato tacos (my kids’ new favorite), tortilla soup, lentil soup, chili rellenos…my mouth is salivating just thinking about the yummy food. I told the cooks that they should create a Caleta cookbook as I would love to try to recreate some of these unforgettable dishes. Along with the cooks, every single staff member was warm, welcoming, accommodating, and happy. I was so impressed by this crew of people! If you need or want most anything, they will make it happen. And can I mention the margaritas? Tangy, strong, crisp, citrusy…divine! Caleta is definitely remote and removed…which is what I ended up loving about it. You are about 4 miles from the town of San Pancho (which is definitely worth visiting). We loved being “off grid.” There is so much to do on the property…boogie board, read, swim, volleyball, frisbee golf, hikes, games, movie nights (we loved these), games, music, etc… We did plan two day trips (snorkeling and fishing) with our host. These outings were amazing and memories that my kids will never forget. The last night we asked for a bonfire with s’mores on the beach…and WOW…what a way to end our incredible week.

Perfection!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary at Villa Caleta with our three children and their spouses. It was one of the best vacations that we have ever had as a family. The house was absolutely breathtaking. It had so many special sitting areas with magnificent views that we found it difficult to know where we wanted to locate. Enjoying the cool evening breezes and listening to the waves crashing on the rocks below our bedroom was the perfect combination for many restful nights. What can I say about a staff that is above and beyond anything that we ever imagined. They were attentive, kind and accommodating in every way and always wore a smile. Yesika welcomed us on our first day with such enthusiasm. She was always available to answer questions and make recommendations and arrangements for us. The chefs prepared meals that could have been served at any 5 star resort. The presentation was incredible. We loved hearing the dinner bell ring signifying another gourmet meal. Whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner we were never disappointed. Upon departure we were already talking about when we could come back. It truly was an amazing vacation and one that we will always remember. Thank you Cynthia, Yesika and staff - we are grateful .

BEST VRBO since 1997! Prepare to be be blown away!

We rent homes through VRBO quite often and have done so since 1997. While we've never had a poor experience, we have, with each rental, learned to adjust our expectations prior to arrival so as not to be a little disappointed. Villa Caleta is the exception. We thought to ourselves: the photos can't be accurate or they are dated or the comments about the staff aren't true because the staff has turned-over. We were totally wrong! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away! First, communication was always prompt. Second the pick up at PVR and drive to the Villa really set the tone. We went from hustle and bustle, to the jungle road, behind the gate and down more jungle road. It was peaceful and serene. We stepped out of the car and climbed the stairs to the villa where the most scrumptious margaritas and guacamole awaited. The staff were all smiles and they took care of every detail. They anticipated our needs before we did. They weren't intrusive-but present in such a way that we didn't have a care in the world. The villa itself is amazing. Each room is true to its photograph. And everything is in great shape. There is not dust or dirt and nothing is worn/old. Mattresses are extremely comfortable, and believe me when I say we had more than a few "Goldilocks" in our group of 9, comprised of 6 adults and 3 kids (9,11,13). Sheets were soft and smelled so clean. Bathroom towels were pure white and fresh. Beach and pool towels were ample and soft. Meals were to die for. My mom is 86 and takes pride in her cooking, preparing recipes from Bon Appetite and the NYT, daily. She won't eat red meat. No problem--fresh grilled mahi mahi for her. The meat eaters loved the chef's carne asada and the the ceviche at lunch with fresh lime had a fantastic kick to it. The fresh fruit, including jicama and lime, watermelon, mango and papaya each morning was incredible. Even kids reluctant to try new things were inspired to dig in and dig in they did! The beach was private and came with kayaks, chairs, blankets and towels. The villa's concierge found us an amazing yoga instructor who guided us through vinaysa flow both by the pool and on the beach! With 9 family members under one roof, we each had plenty of room and nobody felt cramped. In fact, we all marveled at the peaceful calm of the villa and the privacy we each had.Rent this villa and don't pre-plan excursions, as you will want to spend as much time at the villa as possible. Trust me.

Excellent Mexican vacation!

Nine couples got together to all celebrate our 50th birthdays taking place in the year 2018. We came from the USA, from LA, Austin, DC and NY. We new we were in for something very special once the driver had to unlock the gate. The 10 minute drive through the jungle to the beach was crazy but fun. We shared the two houses (Violeta and Caleta) and we were separated by a semi private beach. Both houses are absolutely breath taking - no expense was spared in the renovations. Both houses have awesome views of the ocean and pools and decks. The staff was there to handle our every need. The chefs were great and we enjoyed 3 meals a day. The meals were all authentic Mexican based meals and all ingredients were fresh and were shopped for on a daily basis. We couldn't wait for the bell to ring before each meal. Yessica came by each morning to check up on us and see if we needed anything like taxi rides, massages, yoga, etc and to make sure we never ran out of beer, booze or ice. This was one of a kind vacation and it exceeded all expectations. We were there for a full week and we only left the compound twice, to go to san Pancho and Sayulita. We also enjoyed playing frisbee golf (on property) and taking hikes from the house through the jungle. We absolutely loved our vacation and would definitely return.

Beautiful Villa in a Remote Setting

If you are looking for a beautiful home with a spectacular view in a remote setting, Villa Caleta delivers. The villa is well-maintained and elegantly designed to ensure most rooms have gorgeous ocean views. The staff are very attentive, make great drinks and food and can arrange for a variety of excursions. The villa is a bit of a drive from on an unpaved road from San Pancho, but once you get to Villa Caleta with its setting and variety of kayaks and activities, you find yourself not wanting to leave. Further, although the staff will arrange for taxis at any time, I recommend getting picked up by boat from the Villa's own beach for various water activities or a night out in nearby Sayulita.

Pure bliss.

This place is beyond amazing. We were a group of seven 30-somethings and stayed for four nights (we all wish we could have stayed longer). The house: The house feels new, updated, and is beautiful--the house is also huge. It's near impossible to explain the layout of the house in text given how unique and awesome this place is. Not including the numerous small nooks/levels that all have amazing views to grab a drink and relax--there are essentially two main living levels. There is a pool/bar level where we floated in the pool with our drinks while staring out at the ocean that is just down your steps. Each morning the staff would refill the cooler at the pool with whatever we requested. The next level up is the living room that is nothing like you have ever seen before. The view is perfect. The room is beautiful. The pictures of this place are nice, but cannot capture the grandness of the space and its open nature. The staff: Going into the trip we did not know how involved the staff would be. They really go over and beyond in making your stay at the Villa extra special. You work beforehand with a US concierge (who is great), and when you arrive you at the Villa you are greeted by Yesika--she is basically the concierge for the Villa. Yesika is wonderful. We wanted to go check out Sayulita one day and San Pancho the other (we were told to spend a lot of time at the house and I'd recommend spending more time at the house than we did, but the towns are both wonderful). Yesika arranged a car for us, scheduled a horseback riding tour, gave us recommendations for food. Yesika was priceless. We could not imagine how our trip would have gone without her. The chef (both of them), made fresh and delicious food each day, Martin (the bartender) will make you some mean margaritas (the first night is still a little hazy), literally everyone working at the Villa is exceptional. There's so much to say about this house, but so little space. The beach is great. They provide kayaks and snorkeling gear which we took advantage of. The rooms are impeccable. The outdoor showers are something to experience. You are in the middle of nowhere stuck between the Pacific Ocean and a jungle. The ladies in our group got messages/manicures/pedicures in a secluded area below the pool that they all raved about. Anything you could possibly want they will get for you or already have it. I'm out of space. This is perfect.

Paradise

Everything about Villa Caleta is paradise. The house -- gorgeous, and beautifully appointed. The location -- incredible, right on a beautiful secluded beach and near to Sayulita for day trips. The staff -- so friendly and helpful and always anticipating our needs. The food -- so delicious. It was the most relaxing, decadent vacation we've ever taken. Kids and adults had a blast. I can't wait to go back.

WOW! Amazing property!

What an amazing time at Villa Caleta! The house was simply stunning, pictures cannot do it justice. Well designed & appointed, great flow. Very secluded with shared beach with sister property. Views were amazing with birds, spotted rays, dolphins, turtles, other fish every day. Sunsets were truly amazing. The staff & Yesika were so welcoming and enjoyable. Service rivals that of 5 star hotels, don't think it could get any better. Yesika was able to get masseuse services for the ladies at the house while the guys went fishing (staff was able to cook our catch!) - great experience (Mexico style). No concerns with open air concept of house, gentle sea breeze was very pleasant at night. It is off the beaten path but once there you will not want to leave! El Budsters 2017! Whoop Whoop!

More than amazing...

It was a unique and exquisite opportunity to experience total tranquility among an incredibly attentive and lively staff. We relaxed in the open air living area with a view of the pacific ocean (and some whales), sat on the beach (or by the pool) reading with a margarita close by, or kayaked out to meet the pelicans on the close by island. And most/more importantly we savoured the delicious gourmet meals created by the chefs at Villa Caleta.

The most amazing vacation spot. The staff was waiting to carry our luggage up to our rooms while we tried to take in the view of the secluded beach, jungle, and the multiple thatched roof dwelling. The open air living space was appointed so comfortably with so many levels and secluded spaces everyone had a space to be alone to read or we all could gather round and play games. our group of 9 included: 2 preschoolers, 3 vegetarians, 1 picky carivar but the chefs made every meal a delight for each of us. The ocean and beach was so beautiful and the constant our of the surf hitting the walls of rock provided a constant rhythm. The stars were so bright and the moon shining off the water was amazing. The whole week was relaxing luxury.

HEAVEN

We just arrived back from our trip to Villa Caleta. My boyfriend and I are truly sad to be home.... our trip was better than we could have ever imagined. The house: perfect, amazing, beautiful, exactly as the pictures show and more. The staff: words can't describe. Teresa and Exa are by far the best chefs around. Gordon is the best guy to have around during the day- he picked fresh coconuts every afternoon for us to enjoy as drinks on the beach. Martin makes a KILLER margarita. The rest of the amazing staff does a wonderful job making the house perfect every afternoon... they even unpacked our bags and organized everything. The meals: again, UNREAL. Fresh fish, chilaquiles, chili relents, fish tacos, ceviche. We had dinner and breakfast on the upper terrace every night and lunch either on the beach or pool side. The dogs tacos were literally the best I have ever had (and the pitched of margaritas that accompanied them made them ever better). Yessika: a true angel! She handled everything and made life so easy! THANK YOU Only difficulties: communication (wifi was down- there was a house phone but it would only connect to yessika when she also had service- his really wasn't ever an issue though. She came over every mornin to discuss plans and arrange everything). Transportation: yessika arranges it everyday if you are wanting to go into town- however 1 night 1/2 of us wanted to stay in sayulita longer but we weren't able to because our driver was unable to make 2 trips. And lastly- no credit card machines for anything with the house (transportation, payment for the staff etc) and ATMs are not reliable. Tips: GO TO SAYULITA and have dinner @ Don Pedro's. Also go for a sunset catamaran ride with AllyCat out of San Cruz (4-7pm... so fun) If you are questioning whether to get this house.... DO IT! As long as you like the outdoors and seclusion.

A Jungle Jewel!

Villa Caleta is the newly opened sister villa of Villa Violeta, which bookends the beautiful private beach in the jungle of San Pancho. This stunning villa offers indoor/outdoor luxury at the highest level--truly beyond expectation or imagination. It reflects such TLC in its attention to esthetics and comfort. The design of the Villa offers a sense of communal warmth, with its grand central living room space--and the multi-tiered bedrooms, baths, verandas, patios afford visitors privacy and fairy tale nooks and crannies--you want to nestle and luxuriate in each one! The graceful curves and flow of the villa have the sense of Mediterranean magic... As part of a group of 8 visiting the Villa in August, I felt like I was in a nostalgic summer retreat. The wonderful Yesika, who handles all guest services, is delightful, and helpful in every way. The amazing staff anticipates and sees through to every combination of amenities, from Kayaks and snorkeling, poolside/beach refreshments...throughout the day... We were pampered with the most incredible combination of comfort and luxury--a gently ringing bell would announce the arrival of each gourmet meal-- expertly prepared by Chef Exael and presented on the veranda above turquoise waves and glistening coves! Tropical fruits, homemade salsas, fresh tortillas and eggs in the morning--giving way to mid-day ceviches of the freshest local fish and seafood-- Afternoons poolside with made-to-order cocktails thanks to Martin the mixologist! At this magical hour it would be almost impossible to speak--each of us lost in jaw-dropping neon/pearly/swirling sunsets that defy description. This is paradise!! And then lingering dinner -feasts on the veranda with sparkling sky and sea -and the sense of being so very fortunate to share this utterly splendid space and time with friends and family. Villa Caleta, is a jungle jewel that should not be missed. It's the most fun, relaxing, restorative and beautiful getaway you could possibly dream of!

Magical Retreat in the jungles of Mexico

PURE MAGIC IN MEXICO. What a place. Every corner is a jewel. From day beds, to carved wooden pieces, to beautifully curated bedrooms, this place is as we say "RAD AF". Just writing this is making me want to go back tomorrow! Dave and Rachel are the most incredible hosts. Their entire staff is beyond incredible. Kind, helpful, beyond top notch, If you want a special experience THIS IS IT! We had an unforgettable time at Villa Caleta. After traveling in Italy, France, all over the world...perhaps nothing compares to this jungle oasis, true magic. We saw whales breeching from out bedroom (!!! that alone was everything), watched butterflies make their migrations, enjoyed amazing views, and peaceful solitude. This is a unique experience you will never ever want to leave. My partner and I surely discussed buying property, and moving to the area! It's THAT intoxicating. This is built for a mega party! A celebration to fit 20+ or intimate enough to host two. We stayed as a party of only 2, so very small for the vast landscape, but the solitude and beauty of the land filled us up and made us whole again! We were spit from Villa Caleta refreshed, reenergized, in love with being alive!

A truly secluded paradise

This place is perfect. It's only a short drive from town and its conveniences but it's completely isolated on a remote stretch of private beach. The house is on the beach at the edge of the jungle and the salt air mingles with the scent of the jungle to create an intoxicating fragrance. The house is wonderful. The bedrooms are comfortable, private, and beautifully compliment the local nature in decor and construction. Most have outdoor spaces too so you can create your own private jungle bungalow. The rooms are all built around the beautiful common spaces. The kitchen, living rood, and dining rooms are all arranged in a terraced design to allow for unobstructed views of the beach and ocean. With the open air setup it really feels like you're part of the cliffs on which the house stands. The food is fresh and wonderful and the staff is friendly and attentive. They know how to really knock it out of the park while still managing to stay low key and mostly out of sight. The pool is decadent and lovely, but we spent most of our days lying around on the beach and swimming in the ocean. Side note for surfers- there's lots of good surf in the area and the staff helped me organize a day trip. We drove out to the harbor, rented boards, and caught a boat ride out to an isolated break to share more or less by ourselves! Overall we were very satisfied by the experience. Thrilled to soak in the sun, sea, sand, and good vibes the place and its staff had on offer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway and I would say it's perfect for any size group.

Amazing house, perfect location, incredible staff

We stayed at Villa Caleta May 18th-23rd 2016 with a group of 8 of us. This house was set up perfect for 4 couples. With the limited amount of reviews online I was slightly worried about booking this house, however after speaking with the owner Dave and his assistant Cynthia, they explained the house was new to VRBO which explained the limited reviews. We vacation frequently and this is hands down our favorite house and location and experience. With a private beach, located in a jungle, and with an amazing staff, we have never been so impressed. The house itself was amazing. It has a very open feel, tall and impressive palapa's, beautiful ocean views from all levels, and a pool with a wet bar. The house is located on several different levels which makes for great views from each. There is nothing bad to say about the house, it was perfect! The location was perfect. A few miles away from San Pancho and deep in the jungle we truly loved the location. Having the private beach was so nice and relaxing. There were beach chairs, beach games, kayaks, snorkel gear, ect. Pretty much anything we needed and wanted. The Staff was incredible! We loved all of them. They were so kind and respectful. Their meals were amazing. We loved that they would ring the bell to indicate breakfast, lunch, and dinner was served. Additionally we had 1 person who doesn't eat sea food and they specifically cooked separate food for her. They all worked so hard and we really appreciated everything they did for us to create a memorable experience. We truly had an amazing experience and look forward to going back! A few questions we had that other may want to know: -The food and drink cost was 50/person per day (about 550 of that was liquor and we drank a lot, if you don't drink much it'd be much cheaper) -Transportation for the 8 of us was 140 each way from the airport. The drivers were great. -There is no Air Conditioning in the house. It wasn't a big deal for us but it's worth noting. -The pictures online don't do the house justice, it's way better than advertised Overall great experience, nothing bad to say about our stay.

We can't wait to return!

My wife and our two children (ages 13 & 11) stayed at Villa Caleta with another couple and their three children (same age range) for a truly amazing Spring Break vacation. I point out the ages of the five children because kids at that age often complain about being bored. The word "bored" was never mentioned once during our stay at Villa Caleta. In fact, kids and parents alike were pampered to the point of being spoiled during our stay. Between the house, the grounds, the beach, the food, drink, and all the amenities; everyone was blown away. Yesika and her amazing team did a fantastic job of making sure that nothing was missed. We had read all of the other reviews prior to arriving, so our expectations were already pretty high. Yet, our actual experience still managed to exceed expectations. One aspect of the experience that cannot be overstated is the amazing meals that we were treated to throughout our stay at Villa Caleta. Everything was made fresh and with local ingredients. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all multi-course meals where everyone left the table 100% full to capacity. Even the children commented about how amazing the meals and traditional local recipes were. We thoroughly enjoyed the platters of fresh tropical fruits the started each breakfast and lunch. Fresh pressed/squeezed juices, and specialty cocktails were always refreshing. The delicious dinner soups were absolutely amazing, as were the decadent desserts. However, we all were blown away with the variety, presentation, and flavors of the different entrees; locally caught red snapper, chicken mole', fresh marlin ceviche, vegetable enchiladas, and so much more. Yesika made sure that arrangements were made for anything that we wanted to do during our stay (taxis, trip to town, massages, manicures/pedicures, snorkeling excursion, fishing, and more). With all of the amenities of the property (pool, beach, snorkeling, boogie boarding, kayaking, relaxing, bon fire/s'mores, hiking, sunsets, exploring, hermit crab races, and more relaxing), there really isn't a need to go anywhere else during your stay. No one in our party had played disc golf before; now we're hooked. If you'd like to play some disc golf, ask for Pat. Pat designed the course and was always up for playing a round. He was very patient with us "newbies" and gave us a lot of helpful advice. If you are looking for a fantastic vacation at an absolutely amazing location, spend a week at Villa Caleta!

"Jungle Luxury"

My wife and I stayed at Villa Caleta with a few other couples. To say that the property and its amenities blew me away is an understatement. The Villa is perfectly situated...in the jungle on a private beach but not super far away from town if you decide you want to head there for dinner, drinks or some shopping. The house itself is an example of pure luxury. The bedrooms are spacious and super comfortable. The house is very homey. There are lot's of books and board games to pass the time away as well as a Disc Golf Course if you feel like a little exercise. The open air design lends itself to memorable days and nights. We spent our days either at the awesome pool or the private beach. Cocktails and appetizers are always arriving (without even asking!). We spent our nights watching the beautiful sunsets and then partaking in a five star meal prepared by the amazing staff. I cannot recommend Villa Caleta highly enough!

A truly unforgettable experience

I stayed at Villa Coleta for a few days with a couple of friends. The house is fantastic with everything you would need to have a great, relaxing holiday in your own private cove. The staff were lovely, providing a 5 star experience with ease and comfort. Yessica is absolutely a gem. The town is not too far away but the magic is at the house, on its beach, and in the waves. Unforgettable.

AMAZING ACCOMMODATIONS & LOCATION! UNFORGETTABLE VACATION!!

Villa Caleta is unbelievably beautiful. From the traditional palapa roofed rooms to the lush jungle surroundings, and the pristine beach cove, we were blown away. Though we had great fun exploring the largely untouched coast line, and the small, picturesque, nearby towns of San Pancho and Sayulita, we would have been perfectly happy to never leave the property. The friendly diligent staff brought us refreshing drinks no matter where we were on the property, and prepared delicious meals for us morning, noon, and night. I especially loved the cerviché the chef made from the Mahi Mahi we caught that day; a boat met us on the beach below our rooms 1st thing in the morning and that afternoon we feasted on our catch! Snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, exploring, AND a full professional Disc Golf course ON THE PROPERTY! Whether you're a pro or a beginner, disc golf is a blast, especially when surrounded by a tropical paradise! I had never played the game, but got addicted after my first round. There were plenty of rooms for our extended group of friends and we had a blast! I cannot wait to go back!!

Villa Caleta

Its hard to find efficient words to describe this property, the quality of the staff or the experience our group had while at Villa Caleta. Caleta, and sister property Villa Violetta, have a way of making you feel like you, your friends and family are on the edge of the world, with no one else around..and its all yours. Again, I can not say enough about the staff. Especially the woman who makes it all happen and someone I would consider a friend, Yessica. To say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. My wife and I got engaged there, we got married on the property and I can not wait to go back. To lay in the sun on the private beach, swim in the bathtub water warm ocean, to eat FANTASTIC food..fresh breakfast, lunch and to share dinner surrounded by loved ones watching one of the most magical sunsets you will ever experience. I am grateful to have found this "vacation" home..but once again, that still doesn't do it justice. Villa Caleta is so much more.
