El tema es que san francisco , se ve sucio, huele a pipi, y hay mucho homeless, la cual te hace sentir inseguro y no permite caminar tranquilo

It appears that instead of reviewing our actual hotel which is located in Millbrae CA which is approximately 20 minutes away from what your review is really reviewing which is the City of San Francisco. We understand this was an honest mistake and hope that you enjoyed your actual hotel visit at the Fairfield Inn Marriott in Millbrae CA

Your comment about the airport shuttle fee is duly noted, and we are sorry that it came as a surprise to you. We certainly understand that any unexpected fees can be an inconvenience, so we do our very best to make sure that all information is clear. Sounds like you may have missed the information, but our shuttle fee of 7.99 is clearly listed under "Our Location - San Francisco International Airport" on our brand website. This information is also available on Expedia - the site through which you booked the room. That said, we apologize that you were not made aware of the shuttle fee in advance of your stay, and we will work on making this information clearer before booking. Again, we are one of only a few hotels that still provide this service. Most SFO hotels have discontinued the service. For the price is really good. I don’t like they charge me $15 per nigth for a parking and then when I arrive I need to park outside because parking is full.

Buen lugar, pero...
La locación del establecimiento está muy accesible y el lugar luce muy limpio. Lo único que no me gusto es que te cobran el estacionamiento y es algo que no se especifica cuando haces la reservación.

Excelente hotel
Me encanta este Fairfield!!! La habitación es súper cómoda y amplia, el personal, tanto en la recepción como en los servicios son muy atentos. La ubicación es excelente, cerca del Bart y Caltrain, además de restaurantes, supermercados y demás locales muy cerca. Realmente es el mejor de Millbrae, estuve en más de una oportunidad y seguro que volveré!

The entire facility is rundown and in dire need of upgrades. Everything is old and overused. Dust and dirt in the elevator. Stayed for two nights. No maid service. No clean towel. No one picks up the garage. Breakfast is okay. Very thin door with almost an inch gap at the bottom. Very noisy room. Filthy carpet in the hallway. I am more demanding because the price is not cheap. With taxes, parking, and everything else is close to $200/night but I am getting the quality of a Motel 6, maybe Super8.

The ladies at check in were really nice specially the lady that was at the front desk this morning. She greeted with a smile on her face, that's something you don't see very often. I travel a lot and at some hotels they don't even look at you. I did not know the hotel was next to the Milbrae station, so it was a bit noisy but after 9:30 pm I didn't hear anything.

The older European American lady that checked us in was not cordial and never welcomed us or smiled. But the younger Indian gentleman at the desk Sun morning was awesome. He was cordial, smiled and was very helpful. The exterior windows to the building were opennd. Not sure why, but wierd. Maybe because it smelled musty. The hot tub/whirlpool was not working. There was a wierd texture in the bathtub. Definately the worst Fairfield I have stayed in.

Horrible Service with Lying Staff
I asked the person checking me in TWICE the amount I would be charged. He acted as if I were a bother. BOTH times he reassured me only $16 would be charged. I had a reservation the next day using the card that I gave him and had I known I would be out $100 and not $16, I would have used a different card. He lied straight to my face about what I was going to be charged. I have NEVER stayed somewhere that gave me an accessible room without telling me before I go up to the room. I shared a room with my teenage son. Having a bathroom door that does not completely shut with the ability to lock, is absolutely unacceptable. The door slid and did not fully slide closed. There was still an opening. Again, unacceptable. The mirror, sink and counter were outside of the bathroom. This was a major inconvenience. The hotel dismissed my issues completely & wouldn’t change our room. We cut our trip early and went home early because my teenage son was so uncomfortable. Do not ever ever stay here. The management is inept and were not available over the weekend, their busiest time.

Good Afternoon, Ms Millan, I hope this message finds you well. I was made aware of your experience during your stay with us this weekend and for this, I am very sorry. I understand that our Front Office Associate was not very clear when speaking with you regarding the charges that will be placed on your card. He was correct in saying that you will be charged the 8 fee that is due at the hotel but since you already were concerned about how much he was going to charge your card, he should have also been very clear that he was going to pre-authorize your card our normal 100 authorization that we do for all guests who check-in into the hotel. Hotels.com does state on their website that there is an incidental fee but it does not state how much. Please note, a charge and an authorization are two different types of transactions but this should have been explained to you at check-in. This dollar amount is just an authorization to verify funds but it does place a hold on the funds also. Once you check out of the hotel, the funds are released, and whatever you didn't use from there will fall back into your card usually right away but sometimes, within a few business days. This is a normal standard for all hotels. We certainly understand that any unexpected fees or hold on your account while you are traveling can be frustrating and inconvenient so we do normally try to make sure that our guests are aware of this. Even though it mentions this on the Expedia website, our team should also be very clear about this. I am sorry this was not your experience. I was able to speak with the associate who assisted you while you were here. He is one of our newest team members and is still learning. I was able to explain to him the importance of being very clear in situations like this and he now understands what he could have done better. I have also sent a reminder to our entire team in an effort to provide better guest experiences. I am also sorry to learn that your guestroom had accessible amenities and that this was not shared with you upon arrival. Please know that you did not receive this room for any other reason other than the fact that we were sold out on the night that you stayed with us. Marriott does require all Marriott hotels to use all rooms whether they are accessible or not and while Marriott does not require hotels to discuss this at check-in, our hotel agents are trained to mention this just to make sure that our guests are comfortable during their stay. As I mentioned, OM is one of our newest agents and is still learning a lot and because he is still learning about all of our guest rooms, he did not realize that your room had these features or else he would have mentioned it to you. It was an honest mistake made by a new employee and again, I am very sorry but assure you that he now knows.If an accessible room type is something that definitely will not work for your travel needs, the best way to avoid getting one is to ask the reservation a

I booked a king size bed and it was given away once I checked in. The hotel is backed up by a very busy road (El Comal Real) so we didn’t sleep well because of the heavy traffic. The toilet also clogged up and there was no one to bring up a plunger which we were charged for. Do not recommend!

I stayed in room 106 it was a bit noisy. I am assuming due to the workers preparing for breakfast and doors slamming. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice and soft. Bed sheets and towels extra white…not dingy. Breakfast was plentiful and nourishing It was a good stay. I do miss the Airport Shuttle!
