Cute place in OB

For our purpose, the unit was nice and clean. We really didn’t spend anytime there. It was rented for our 26 year old daughter. She enjoyed her stay and we spent most of our time at family events and the beach.

Great location and ease of check in process made this stay pleasant. Overall the place was clean. Countertops, floors, and bathroom were clean. General maintenance and a deep clean every so often would earn this place a better rating.

About 10 min walk from beach shores, walkable restaurants and coffee shops, parking in the back so you don't have to worry about finding packed street parking, quiet neighborhood, great place to stay!

POS. The cheapest and still overpriced

The front door had been busted open and the door frame was missing on the inside. The windows were all off the tracks and the locks were broken. The bedroom window had been broken into obviously because the blinds were all busted. This place is infested with ants and they expect you to clean the place before leaving and threaten to charge you for things. The walls are super thin and the shower had hair on the walls. The light in the kitchen didn’t work and it was really dark the whole time. I wouldn’t mind paying 500 a month for a POS like this if I was single and in my 20s but it’s a straight up slum. I was afraid to leave out stuff in this place because I couldn’t lock the windows and it seemed like it was a set up for someone to break in. And if I had the energy to fight for my money back I would but the distance to things was alright and the off street parking was convenient. The lock box was easy to get into and I didn’t really need to contact the renter really.

Nice spot!

lots to do around the location and loved walking to the beach but was also nice that it was easy to get to other parts of town as well. having parking was also a really big help. was just enough for our shorter stay.

Just what we needed!

Drew's house was just what we needed for our trip to San Diego! The house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of shopping and restaurants were within easy walking distance, and we loved taking evening walks to Ocean Beach. Parking in OB can be a nightmare, so the included parking was fantastic. Communication with the host was easy and clear. Would absolutely reccomend this stay to anyone visiting San Diego!

OB Oasis

Very nice and clean little cottage only a short walk to the beach. No need for a car as everything needed is easily walkable. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Needs updated listing

To be fair here, I didn’t reach out to the owners due to the short amount of time we were here. However. I found a pill on the floor- looked it up and it was just Claritin- but I have small children so that was scary. The water to the shower was lukewarm. There isn’t a Keurig, which may not seem like a big deal to some, but a 4 cup coffeemaker isn’t enough for our family. The furniture looks nothing like the picture, but I was expecting that based on the listing. For us, it was a little too far from the beach, but still within walking distance (without little ones). The house was not clean. With it being a beach house, I expect it to be not perfect. We have stayed in several houses on OB and we understand the area, houses, etc. However, with pills on the floor and dust bunnies everywhere- along with open poison traps (which we found at the end) for insects… I would not recommend it for families with little ones. However, for two people, it would be a decent house for a short stay.

Hope it’s available next time we visit San Diego!

This adorable place was perfect for our family. At first I thought we would barely fit, but the couch in the living room folds up into a big flat surface which both of my kids slept on comfortably! Location is perfect, coffee shops everywhere you look, delicious dining within easy easy walking distance, and a 5 minute walk to the beach!

Ikea decor, comfy bed, good sheets and towels. Walk to beach. Owner was responsive. First impression: sad landscaping, broken window blinds, filthy fans. badly stained carpets. Planes overhead from early morning. Heat wave didn't help.

Cute, clean and close to everything!

We really enjoyed our week in OB! The Oasis was very clean, well decorated and within reasonable walking distance to just about everything! It was a little uncomfortable in the house during the day without any kind of air conditioning, even with the windows open. The pullout couch worked well for our daughters. The kitchen had the basic essentials we needed for coffee in the mornings and making a few dinners at night! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Being a newly single mom, I decided to take my 4 kids (15,14,8&6) on a little vacation. When we arrived, there was an unexpected issue that Drew responded to quickly and graciously. He was very sweet. The walk is only 5ish min to the beach. Loved the Hummingbird coffee shop. We had an amazing time and will come back again❤️

Cozy and clean

We recently stayed for 4 nights...had a great time. We had one issue with parking spot in alley and when we contacted Drew he immediately responded. The cottage is small but it was only two of us and worked perfectly! Very comfortable bed as well. We were able to walk everywhere; close to beach and good food!
