The Dolphin stay was outstanding! Literally a 1 minute stroll to get to the beach. A real community feel, with people jogging, riding bikes, walking dogs - truly sad to leave.The only picture I’ll add is the glorious sunset!

Everything is within walking distance, we didn't need a car. Farthest walk was Ralphs at .6 miles. The beach is just steps away.

LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION!We really enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, walking distance to boardwalk, bars and restaurants. The one car garage came in handy for beach items provided. The unit had all necessary items to make it a comfortable stay. Communication was A. Will definitely stay, again!

Summer Vacation

This property is a gem. You can hear the waves at night, birds in the morning, and is a short walk to everything. The owner is a great communicator before the stay and the place has everything a small family needs for a stress free vacation. Thank you again... making teenagers happy is a chore and you guys made it easy!

All about location

My wife and daughter stayed here last year and loved the location and I totally agree. Short walk and you are on the boardwalk and heading down the ramp to the beach. So nice with young kids where you are always walking back for something. My wife preferred the next door unit since it had the two beds in one room but we just used the blow up mattress and it worked great.I also love that it is at the end of the boardwalk so it isn't as crazy as other spots, once again nice for the kids. We will probably be back next year...

Perfect spot in PB

Great location and great house. Very clean, nice beds. Ocean view, nice outdoor space. We parked the car in garage and did not need to drive until we left. Hope to return soon.

Amazing….

What a wonderful piece of property. Conveniently located to beach, shops, and restaurants. Could walk to many places. Enjoyed ocean views. Located in a happening place of fun and food, and for sightseeing north and south San Diego. Vacation rental very clean. Loved the outdoor seating. Worth a return. Good info provided about size of garage, and we had a small car that fit. Glad we had it, and the garage.

Cute Place

This place is in the perfect location! It is really meant for just two people, maybe two with a baby (in my opinion). The bathroom is really small and needs some updating as well as the heater as it makes a loud bang occasionally when the metal expands (old heater) but works just fine. The garage was a plus as well.

The Dolphin on Law Street

The location was perfect! Near the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The cottage had everything we needed. The space was occasionally cold - the furnace didn’t always kick in when set. There was usually parking on the street. It was fun to watch the parade of surfers and people going to morning yoga. The sunsets were awesome.

PACIFIC BEACH

The property was really close to Law Street beach which was were I used to hang as a teenager (meet me at the foot of Law). The property was clean, the check-in easy and the property manager was very responsive to a few minor issues.

Lovely place

From start to finish, it was a perfect location. Super clean, very comfortable beds and couch, adorable kitchen. All the appliances and plumbing worked great. Nice ceiling fans. Great outdoor patios. Barbecue if we wanted one. We could see the beach from our patio. Nice neighborhood super quiet. And they had a garage for parking!

Amazing location!

This was the perfect spot for my family of 5. This was a spontaneous trip and it was everything we could've asked for. I was really impressed with all the kitchen ware available. We saved a lot of money by cooking there instead of eating out

Very comfortable; great location

The property was exactly as described. The place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities, and the patio with view of the ocean was an extra treat! My husband and I ended up ordering take-out dinner from some very good restaurants and ate dinner on the patio while watching the sun set. The garage was tight, but my husband parked our Subaru Outback in there without a hitch. We will definitely seek out The Dolphin again if we return to San Diego and would recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous Location and Stay

The Unit was great. Accommodated a wonderful Mother/Daughter time together. Good neighborhood for safety. Everything we needed and 3 doors down from the beach and sunsets. Will probably stay again. Communication was very nice. I mostly parked on the street along with all the surfers but had no problems. Could make some San Diego information available for future folks. I lived there in the 70's so knew a bit about the area which made it easy regarding shopping/food/restaurants and sites to see. Thank you.

Location Location

Location was perfect, literally 500 yards from the beach. We could watch the sunset over the ocean from the front patio. As lovely as the location was, the apartment/condo was nice but it could use some updating. Nothing terrible or unacceptable just a few things that need to be replaced or fixed.

Excellent location

This rental is in a wonderful location. It is literally one minute from the beach. You can see the ocean if you sit on the couch or outside. A few suggestions: 1. The kitchen is sparsely equipped. I would recommend adding a few salad bowls, oven pans, and pots/pans. 2. Please include a binder with things to do/visit within the unit. It was not obvious that the "village" was next to the beach, in the opposite direction from Mission Blvd. 3. This rental unit traps heat. Even though it cools down if all windows and doors are open, and if all the fans are on, that is not possible at night, when we have to close all the doors. 4. While the property manager was responsive, she did not seem to jump when we reported that the on-property dryer was out of service. I understand that she called a repair person, but we were not informed of that. The dryer is clearly old and in need of replacement. In addition, while the washing machine was new (I was told), it looked like a very old model and did not function properly. When we requested additional towels, the property manager instructed us to get them from the unit next door, which was fine, but we had to contact her multiple times.
