Perfect Place

The property was as advertised. It was perfect for the eight of us. I short walk to the beach was a great way to start each day. Everywhere we needed to go was a short distance away and the dining area and kitchen were perfect for breakfast and dinner. We may have ridden the bikes if the tires were inflated. Tires were a little sketchy. Thank you.

Great stay

Our group of 6 had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect, just a few minute walk to the beach! The garage parking was a great asset. Host was great with communication, which made our trip even smoother. Minor issues were there were no trash bags, and some of the towels were still damp. Not a big deal though, there was a washer and dryer there. Would stay there again!

Perfect place for our weekend!

My crew team and I loved our stay here at this sunny soCal rental. The house was clean, spacious, as advertised, within walking distance to many attractions and the host was very responsive. We will stay here again!

Great house, great location!

Nice house with enough bedrooms for our family of five. Blocks to the beach, great spot for campfire at night on the bay. Short drive to the zoo and sea world, and good restaurants right at the corner.

1st VRBO good experience

Very nice property with great location. All rooms were very nice and comfy beds. We loved the gas fireplace on the rooftop deck at night. We chose due to double garage parking, however unable to fit both due to storage shelving . Also my dad’s short box Tundra was two long to fit.

Such a great place!

Overall our experience was amazing! The owner texted us when the house was open up earlier than check in time which was much appreciated. The house has so much sleeping space and is so cute! The bunk beds could actually even sleep 4 people. My only complaint is that the place was advertised as a two car parking garage but when we got there were boxes and supplies in the way and we couldn’t park both of our small cars in there. There was street parking in front but it was still a bummer. Overall the place was clean, beautiful and lots of space. Definitely would stay here again!

Buyer Beware rental!!!

This is a Buyer Beware rental. Very nice property, but be ready to be held responsible for damages you didn't do! We stayed 3 nights in July. It was quite enjoyable home and very nice decor. Followed all the checkout directions: take out trash, stripped all the bed linens, vacate before 10 AM, leave the house in satisfactory condition. No sand inside the house, or else there would be extra fine. Even washed and folded their towels. Several hours after checkout the owner sent us pictures of scoured burner, soiled chair and a gash in the wall and followed by a very nasty call: "My unit is brand new. The range is brand new. You guys cooked right? The previous people did not cook. How do you want to pay for all this damage or you want to go to court???". We did cook, but cleaned up after ourselves. What is the expectation? to leave it unused and brand new? I have pictures from when we checked in and the gash in the wall was already there. The dining chair was already soiled, and we cleaned the chairs after meals, none of the stains were from us. We have rented homes for about five years all around the country and this is the first time someone reported damage by us. Fortunately, we bought damage protection and walked away from charges. After paying $$$$ in rent, with 150% of the nightly rate for cleaning & maintenance fees, doing all the household chores, we were left with a very sour experience. It's less hassle to stay at a luxury hotel, no minimum night stay requirement, great customer service and you are actually being served and feels like a real vacation. If you want to rent this one, ask for a walk through inspection, or take plenty of pictures at check in and check out.

Clean, spacious, with air conditioning

We loved staying here! It looks just like the pictures. Everything was clean and well maintained. It was really nice to have the two car garage so we didn't have to park on the street, although that would have been fine too. We would stay here again next time we come to San Diego!

Amazing stay

Beautiful property to stay at for my brother's wedding in nearby La Jolla. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The house itself is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Just blocks away from the beach and close to restaurants.
