We had a fantastic stay. The place was perfect for us with a comfortable bed and space for the two of us to move around. The grounds were beautiful and it was a perfect location to get everywhere in the city and to the beaches. The hosts were very gracious, and super responsive!

What a terrific find! Everything posted was actually at this beautiful home. We stayed for 6 nights and hope to return sometime in the future. Tiffany and Bill thought of everything. The views are outstanding, especially at night with the sunset and the colorful runway. We loved the backyard terrace with ideal relaxation seating. The location is great too. Close to all the attractions with a quick Uber ride. I must note, the Linens/towels match any 5 Star hotel. All in all, a wonderful experience in a fun city!

We had a wonderful stay!! Bill and Tiffany were great hosts that provided us with many memorable experiences! We really enjoyed staying in a historic home built in the early 1900's that was impeccably decorated in all respects.The location was ideal: we walked to Balboa Park, Little Italy, Gaslight area, downtown, and the waterfront park. Close proximity to San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. Hiked up in Torrey Pines Reserve, lunch in Del Mar, and explored La Jolla. Our last adventure was east to Anza Borrego State Park where we did a 5 mile loop trail that took us through a slot canyon! Every day we would return to a gated posh residence with stunning views and mature professionally landscaped grounds. Our living space was clean and nicely appointed with period antiques! Thanks Bill and Tiffany! We would love to return and see more of San Diego!!

I have stayed at Mennie Vrbo's and this was by far the best of all of them. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided anything that I asked for. The property is gorgeous and so are the views. There is plenty of room inside. There is plenty of space for parking and everything was so close by. And there was not a lot of traffic wherever I went, which really surprised me. I hope I can go back to San Diego soon and if I do, I will definitely try to stay at this property.

Lovely clean one bed accommodation, ample cookware. The owners live in the property the rental part is underneath the stairs and the length of the house. Ideal for the airport, can see the planes from the garden. Trains rather noisy as they are obliged to hoot when passing the crossing. Hot tub has to be booked a day in advance and is on the upper patio. Good for a short stay.

We loved our stay here! Hosts are very responsive and accommodating. The house rules are clearly written out and they offer a wealth of amenities. They have a BBQ, fire pits, hot tub, garage gym, beach equipment, and a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. View of the airport was nice to watch the planes land and take off. City noise was not noticeable from the bedroom! Would love to stay again.

Beautiful picturesque back yard with lots of comfy seating! Great location that is close to so many things to do! Fabulous Little Italy restaurants were a walkable distance away. The rental had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and luxury linens. High end gas range made cooking breakfast a breeze. While there is a panoramic view of the airport, air traffic ceases overnight. We would stay here again! The hosts were great!

Beyond expectations!

I want to say hands down this was the best rental Ive ever stayed in. 10 in my opinion! The home was beautiful, the grounds were breathtaking. The apartment just felt like home. Bill and Tiffany were there anytime we had a question or needed help figuring out the fire pit. Anytime I go to San Diego, I’ll be checking the availability here first! Thank you for making our stay memorable!

Great neighborhood. Beautiful grounds.

My adult daughter and I visited San Diego to scout apartments for her. This location was ideal. While we rented a car, we hardly used it and walked almost everywhere. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. Neighborhood is quiet. The gardens are gorgeous. And even though the airport was right there, the planes were actually cool to watch and it was quiet at night. Bill and Tiffany were super nice and very responsive. I highly recommend if you are looking for someplace close to the city but in a quieter neighborhood.

Excellent property and great hosts

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this location and would absolutely stay again next time we make our way to San Diego. We loved the view from the back porch and the hosts were very helpful setting up the fire pits and chairs for us. They were always quick to reply whenever we had any questions and genuinely seemed to want to make sure we had a good time. I don't use VRBO too often so I was a little nervous using someone else's house but they made me feel at ease and it really added to the enjoyment of the stay.

The Best

We stayed four nights in February and found it tough to leave this comfortable, cozy apartment on the lower level of an historic manse. The owners' thoughtful touches are everywhere from a bowl of yummy snacks to beach towels and a big laundry hamper for the washer and dryer in the unit.The location is ideal to visit the best of sunny San Diego including the world famous Zoo and La Jolla to see the seals and art galleries. And it's just about half a mile from the airport car rental center. Great restaurants nearby for Italian, Mexican and seafood. Book your stay today!
