We had a great stay and loved the views & location. There were a few things that needed to be addressed but gave feedback that was well received, pretty good communication with owner. Comfortable accommodations and rooftop views were awesome. All in all we would stay again if we return to the area.

We went to San Diego for a wedding with our adult kids then checked into this beautiful home after the wedding events. We were blown away at the location, the views, and the rooftop sitting area with a fire pit that over looked the ocean. Every room was clean, with comfortable beds, and all the amenities we needed for the week were available on site. Check-in was easy. We had a parking spot in the driveway.The location of this home was perfect. You could walk to the beach, and to restaurants and bars very easily. Yet it was in a quiet location. The entire experience was amazing. I highly recommend this property!!!

This is our second time at Isabelle’s property and we will not go anywhere else in Pacific Beach. The house is perfect for our family of adults and teens. Great location, easy check in and communication with the owner (who lives downstairs).

Everything was excellent, location 1 block from a beautiful beach, quiet neighborhood, parking space, very plush furnishings such as beach towels, bath towels, kitchen was stocked with necessary items like coffee, dish soap, bath soaps and shampoo. Everything worked well such as microwave, grill, stove, showers, water pressure. Really nice rental.

What a gem!

Isabelle's home had everything our group of 7 adults needed for a long weekend. The location was peaceful and perfect and the rooftop deck was amazing. We loved having our morning coffee with the sunrise and cocktails at sunset. The bars and restaurants are a 10-15 minute walk away so the sounds we heard were exactly what we were hoping for: crashing waves, sea birds, surfers and beach goers.

Loved This VRBO

We have stayed here in January and February for the last nine years. I loved the dining area that overlooked the ocean. You can pull up the blinds in this room to enjoy an unobstructed ocean view. There's also a balcony with a table, umbrella, and chairs just off this room. The daybed is a perfect spot for napping. The beach and boardwalk are just steps away, featuring numerous shops, bars, and dining options; Kono's is one of our favorites. The lovely owner is downstairs and available to answer any questions. Another favorite feature of this place is the roof. You can go up there to sunbathe, eat, read, and enjoy the fire pit, which keeps you warm on chilly nights. We have stayed here in January and February for the last nine years.

Family getaway

It was a cold weekend in San Diego but we still took advantage of everything around. The 6 of us ate in on 2 of the nights and really enjoyed the dining porch. The short walk to the beach was perfect. We wish the weather had been better so we could have made better use of the rooftop deck. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Pacific Beach Home

The home was in a residential area; a block from the beach. Amazing plants outside. Numerous stairs to access the upstairs rental. It was an older home that had a musty smell once you entered - probably due to being so close to the ocean. Some windows were difficult to open/close. The furnishings were nice and two of the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of toiletries, towels, kitchen supplies, etc. Owner was very nice. It was comfortable but nothing fancy.

Fantastic location with cozy sunroom

Located a block from the beach, if you love surfing, best waves just in front of the property. Kitchen well appointed, extra spices/oil, we cooked dinner a few times with no issues. Bedrooms small but cozy, and on a nice night, sleeping in the sunroom listening to crashing waves is serene. Spiral stairs to rooftop, views are somewhat blocked by other homes and wires. Fire pit is a nice touch. Inside was clean but outdoor area and furniture needed a sweep/wipe to get rid of webs and debris. We could not find a washer/dryer, which would be helpful to wash towels and bathing suits. But for the location, views of the water, and near the boardwalk to many restaurants, it’s an ideal place for a beach holiday.

Wonderful place, great host and the roof patio is awesome!

It was as advertised. Great location. We spent a lot time on the roof patio. It is an easy walk to the beach. They have all the beach amenities like towels and chairs and umbrellas so you don't have to buy anything. There are lots of people walking and hanging out on the beach but the neighborhood is quiet. The host is so helpful and is a great resource. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great home

This Pacific Beach location is prime time for beach or nighttime activity, along with being within a 20 minute ride to Del Mar Racetrack. Host and neighbors were top notch. Outdoor areas are a plus with the great rooftop area, and has plusses of laundry and outdoor shower. Run, walk or play by the beach and this place works out just fine!
