Host was excellent with communication. Views of the ocean are amazing both from living room, kitchen cafe area and of course your ocean-front patio. A grill and nice chairs and tables w umbrellas on patio. Boardwalk backs up to patio wall then the beach is right there. So convenient both to walk the boardwalk (and watch walkers, riders, dogs) and instant access to the ocean. Kitchen has what you need. Nice sized frig/freezer. Both a coffee pot and Keurig - take your own coffee and bottled water if you want it. Few spices but some. Hot water is very good but note - getting hot water in bathroom is easier if you get hot water at kitchen sink first. Bed is king sized and very comfortable to our liking. Plenty of room to unpack your bags. Nice towels for bathing. Has some beach amenities which is nice. It was chilly at night but space heater kept us warm enough. Everything is a little older but all the furniture was newer and comfortable. A perfect little beach house for the two of us.Thank you for allowing us to experience ocean front living for a few days! We would definitely rent again.

Everything was as described. Location was amazing. Comfy furniture & bed. Clean with the basic amenities you need. Parking on site, no dishwasher. Location, Location, Location. While there were some minor inconveniences (parking, the host warned and provided pictures to help), the location was perfect. We could watch the sunsets from the living room, if we had wanted to. We, of course, walked to the beach and took in all the beauty. The unit had everything we needed. Was older, but was clean. If you are looking for a relaxing, chill and hang experience, this place was perfect.

We spent 3 nights and now I wish we stayed longer. The location was amazing and we loved sitting outside taking in the view. We also had our 3 year old toddler and he loves the beach so this was a a perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect. The beach is literally right outside the front door. The Mission Beach boardwalk is walking distance as is Belmont Park. Restaurants were close by. Furthermore, most of the attractions around San Diego are no more than 20 minutes away at the most. Sea World is under 10 minutes away and Balboa Park is under 20 minutes. The location is the biggest plus for this property. Definitely 5 stars. In terms of the apartment itself, we really only spent the evenings at the unit which made it perfect for us. If I were being honest, the apartment itself was perhaps a little sub-average. Definitely not terrible but not the nicest either. It was OK and worked for what we were looking for. Would we stay there again? Perhaps. There were only three of us. Two slept in the main bedroom (with the king bed). This was comfortable. One of us slept on the couch pull out bed. To be fair, most pull out beds are not comfortable. And this one is no different. The pillows for the pull out should be replaced (they were very flat). But again, we only spent the evenings at the property so all of the shortcomings were minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of things. The property manager was very responsive. We lost an Apple Watch outside the property somewhere. One of the other guests in the upstairs unit found it and let the property manager know. He quickly notified us which was greatly appreciated. In summary, location5 stars; responsive host4 stars; apartment itself2 stars

Great beachfront spot

Perfect location just steps from the sand. This cute little condo had everything we needed including a comfortable bed. Close enough to walk to restaurants but far enough to stay quiet. There’s also two markets about a block away for essentials. Perfect large patio space to sit and watch the sunset and enjoy some volleyball. Also very close to SeaWorld, downtown, or La Jolla.

We loved being able to go right out on the beach and walk to Belmont! It was very easy to check in and out. And very easy to communicate with the owner. The only issue was when the folks staying in the place next to us arrived it was quite loud - when anyone is walking or moving around in the space above you it is quite loud
