Perfect for couples

This place is perfect for couples. Nit big enough for more then 2 people. Parkimg isnt next to the studio apartment. But not far from it. Easy walking didtsnce. Just a block away. Ocean views from our balcony. We stayed in #7

The unit was clean but smaller than we expected. It was warm inside when we arrived so we opened the 2 sliders on the ocean side. There are no other windows or doors to open, so there is no cross breeze. The 2-story ceiling makes the unit feel larger than it is. The balcony is just large enough to stand on. It would have been nice to have space to sit and enjoy the view. The is the 2nd building in, so this is an unobstructed view of the beach. The complete kitchen was nice to have. The unit has a murphy bed & a loft. The loft is accessible using a ladder but I felt it would have been dangerous to go up there & try to get back down, as the bottom of the ladder rests against the small couch that is in the unit. Plus if you are in the loft, you look straight down into the bathroom so anyone using the bathroom would have absolutely no privacy. During the second night of our stay the Murphy bed broke - the mattress fell through the frame at 1 a.m., so we cut our stay a day short becuase there was no way the handyman was going to fix the issue in a day. The hosts were quick to respond & did issue a refund for the 1 night. The bathroom shower is not the best design. It is a jacuzzi tub with a rain shower head and no shower curtain or door. The tub is deep & difficult to get into - the exposed access to the tub is small. - it is jammed into a nook. The only way to turn on the shower head is to be in the tub & be under it. I did like that we were so close to the beach.

Ocean Front View

Property was excellent. Easy check in and check out. Very clean and situated in a perfect location within Mission Beach. Will stay again. Was visiting my son who is attending University of San Diego. 12 minutes away. No issues at all

beach getaway

the condo was as advertised! Smallish, but we knew that going in. Beautiful view right on the strand. It was perfect for a quick get away with my two daughters. The owners were very responsive with questions through our stay.

Beach relaxation

Small but comfortable unit. Nice ocean view and breeze. We used the grill and outside seating area a lot. We did have a few issues when we checked in but the host was prompt with our concerns. The two negatives would be the patio lounge chairs which are falling apart and need to be replaced. Smoke detector beeped on and off and was never addressed. It stopped after the second night. Lots of flies this year, it's was our 4th year and never had a fly problem in the past.

Nice Place, superb view

Lovely place to stay if wanting to be right on the beach. The view is beautiful, can’t beat that. I think it’s more for a solo person than a couple but we made it work. Sleeping with the sliding doors open was nice to feel the breeze & it kept the place cool since there is no AC. Had access to a lot in walking distance & that was nice. The tub/shower is challenging getting in & out of & the beach chairs definitely need to be replaced. We didn’t use them because the arms were damaged & the chairs(one of them ) was rusted

Weekend in Mission Beach

Property is exactly as listed, small but great location. The kitchen & bathroom have everything you could possibly want, including coffee & basic supplies which was very helpful. We could clearly see dolphins from the window and surfers all day long and it was fun just people watching. The only criticism is that it was a little hot in August without A/C, you have to have the patio door open all the time which can be a little noisy at night. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

A slice of heaven

We stayed here 9 nights and had a wonderful experience. The view is worth every penny spent. We had an issue and the owners took care of it quickly. They are kind and truly wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. This is my 5th time renting here, I will be back.

Amazing views and awesome location!

This was the best location!! You are so close to the water but not too close to the boardwalk where everyone who walks by is watching you. The views of the water are amazing and the studio had just enough space for us two. Owners were responsive and helpful!
