Not very pleased
Ac unit stopped working after second night with no remedy, help, communication or compensation. I require the basics. Heat, ac, hot running water and a working toilet. When one does not work with children it is a disaster. Not very pleased and will never rent from again.

Sorry that our client was unhappy even though they verbally told us that everything was okay. Temperature was in the mid sixties. we have ceiling fans in every room and advised client to use them. Ac company was closed on week end. Ac company did come out and advise us that the part for that unit would take 5 days and i signed a work order to have the unit repaired. i am sorry that the clients would not reach out to me, because i own two portable ac units that i would have used but i did not think it necessary 64 degrees

Spring Break Vacation
We had a wonderful time at this very clean and spacious property. The location is right on the beach. The patio is amazing with comfortable furniture and a spectacular view of the ocean. Mary was very helpful and easy to work with. She was very responsive. Great vacation property!

Beautiful View
We enjoyed our stay very much and pretty much spent all our time on the patio overlooking the ocean. It is a quiet neighborhood and was a very enjoyable stay. We loved watched the surfers from our patio every day - all day long. The decor is a little outdated but it is still very comfortable and the outside patio is the star of the show!!!!

We'll Be Back!
We've stayed in other locations in San Diego, but this was by far the best. From the quick responses to our questions before arriving, to the warm, informative greeting from Mary when we arrived, and ending with our smooth and easy check-out, everything was perfect. We were a small family reunion of siblings and spouses trying to stay connected in our empty-nest years. We thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent views and sounds of the ocean from the deck, of course. We could have spent our entire time on the deck and loved it, but since this was the first visit to the San Diego area for some of us, we also ventured out. This location gives great access to about anything you'd want to do. And having the parking access was appreciated immensely - parking spots are a premium in San Diego! We are so grateful to have stayed at this location and would recommend it highly - as long as there's always a spot for us when we return!

Great place for a family!
The property location was amazing! The place itself was okay. The crazy weather caused some issues with the unit, but Mary and the owner were superstars and took care of everything immediately. Absolutely book here if you're looking to see SoCal!

Pacific Beach Paradise
This was an amazing property with the best location ever. There were 3 of us and we all had our own bedroom with plenty of room. The location was nice and not in a popular or crowded area, which made the stay even better. Mary was gracious and provided us with a nice overview of the property and the restaurants/shopping around us.

Can I keep this a secret? - OK - Then this is a MUST rental
I'd like to have this unit available at any time I wanted to go. BUT, I have to give this place such a good review, I may not ever be able to stay there again because it will be completely booked. If San Diego bound or just want a great beach experience with NO hassles...This is the place..I'm serious. GREAT view of the ocean. VERY clean and is in a super location. All the comforts of home and an incredible host to introduce you to the condo and the surrounding area. The condo comes with everything you will need, sans food. Beach items are provided - surfboards AND bikes AND chairs etc. Our host went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we could not be more pleased. EVERY thing was taken care of and we want to go back...now !! Thank you to the host and we will see you again for sure.

Vacation on Pacific Beach
This is our second time staying at this wonderful property overlooking the Pacific Ocean! Our adult daughter accompanied us, and with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms we had ample room. The outdoor patio is a favorite spot watching the waves, surfers, and sunsets. Mary is a fantastic property manager and is always super thorough and helpful. We love Pacific Beach!

Fabulous deck views, perfect location, super clean, wonderful property at every level! (6 day stay)
Cannot wait to return to this fantastic property (sooner rather than later)! I booked for the deck views and yes, the rest of the apartment is terrific as well! Tastefully furnished and very comfortable 3 bed apartment. Communication from booking with Gina was excellent and Mary as our onsite contact was stellar! Mary's such a gem and ensures the guests are acquainted with the property and knows all they need to upon arrival. The amenities and "extras" provided by Mr. Hamilton (host) is truly exceptional! So many thoughtful details in the apartment and the beach gear and bikes included for guests use makes the stay easy and stress free without having to buy/rent items. Restaurants and grocery stores are in easy walking distance. Hearing the ocean surf lulled me to sleep every night! I can honestly say, this was one of the best vacation home rental stays I've had over the past 20 years. And I've rented many in the US, Canada and Europe. Thank you so much for making this a lovely stay for myself, husband, brother in law and his wife!! It was difficult to leave!

Great Location, Deck with Views, and Great Host
We enjoyed our stay of eight nights due to the many positives of this rental. Highlights include the following: 1. Deck with a panoramic view of the ocean and beach and all the surfers. Great sunsets - and place to lounge and enjoy your coffee/glass of wine. 2. Great location - close to the beach and ocean but location on a bluff in a quiet neighborhood means you are a short walk to everything but don't feel like you are amongst the crowds. 3. Excellent booking, communication and hosting process. Mary contacting us in advance, meeting us to greet and show us around the place and give us great tips on shopping and eating was really appreciated. Mary was always quick to respond by text and phone call on any issue that came up. 4. Extra bed room (plus 2 bathrooms) with conversion of office to bedroom meant both our children had their own room/privacy. 5. All the amenities for extra things was great to have options (laundry, bikes, coolers, beach chairs, etc.). Lots of other positives but these are ones that come to mind.

Great location!
The house was in a great location. We sat on the spacious deck every morning with coffee and every evening with cocktails. Watching the surfers was a highlight. The kitchen was adequately stocked with everything we needed, though we mostly ate out or ordered in for dinner. We never needed to use the AC. A nice breeze came in every night and it was nice to listen to the ocean waves. Mary, the property manager, was very helpful and responsive prior to our arrival and during our stay. The Beach towels and beach gear (chairs, boogie boards etc) were great to have. Another plus was that the office was converted to a bedroom just prior to our arrival, so our boys each had their own room, which made them happy! One downside was that the master bedroom bed had a concave mattress that wasn’t very comfortable. Laundry was also shared between the 3 units in the building. We had a great trip and enjoyed our time at this unit!!

This is our second time here and we’ve already booked next year! The location is perfect, between PB and La Jolla. We literally live on the deck over the beach! Mary and Gina are terrific to work with as well.

Property needs a renovation and upgrade BADLY!
Let me start with the good things. The property manager is a nice lady and you can tell she does what she can to make the stay comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked if you like to cook and you can tell they’ve updated it within the last 10 years. The bathrooms as well. The view of mission beach is wonderful. That said, the management company can only do so much with the hand they’ve been dealt. So the bad stuff. Everything else looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 80’s. The couch and beds were a bit icky to me since they were so old. Bedding and the bed itself made me cringe inside. The carpet and the flooring really needs to be pulled and redone. Kinda sticky. They want you to remove your shoes but I just didn’t feel comfortable walking around in bare feet. The house itself is REALLY run down. The balcony tilts to one side and make me concerned about its safety. The outside of the home is really run down, cracked, not really cared for, structurally and aesthetically. Bubble gum and duct tape kind of maintenance. On the inside, walls were cracked, floors uneven, places where they’re was water damage that haven’t been repaired. The walls were so thin you can hear every time a toilet flushed in the building or someone laughed. It felt unsafe and definitely not the kind of place you’d expect at the price. I was a bit embarrassed that I had chosen this place and I brought my family there. I felt like I had to keep apologizing for the place. BIG regrets!

Unfortunately, Mrs. Day decided to retaliate by writing a disparaging review about our property. Our 2 bedroom property has a MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY OF 4 GUESTS. Mrs. Day initially booked our home for 3 guests. Approx. 5 days before her arrival date (too late to cancel and receive a refund) she called pleading to allow her to bring three more guests for a guest count of 6 wanting to stay at the property. When explained to Mrs. Day that our license with the City of San Diego Short-term Residential Occupancy (STRO) Division allows for a maximum of 4 guests in the two bedroom unit with penalties for breach of contract resulting in fines or possible termination of our license, it just wasn't the reality she wanted to hear. Mrs. Day left a preposterous and false review about our property. Having a perfect track record as a Premier Host since 2007 as well as all of our five-star reviews speak for itself.

Another Wonderful Family Trip
It seems like it gets harder to leave every time we visit, this has been such a special place for my family to make memories. The space was in pristine condition as it always is and the views from the rooftop deck never get old. Our boys are starting to get older, but we love this place and hope to keep coming back. Amazing views!!! Very comfortable home!
We absolutely loved this property! Normally we leave the condos a lot and explore. This time we stayed at the condo mostly because you can’t beat that view! We had everything we needed in the condo! It was such a easy walk down to the beach and very easy to get to restaurants! Waking up to the sound of the ocean every day was amazing! The private driveway was a huge plus and also having all the bikes and beach toys already there! It made our traveling much easier! Mary is a delight and responds right away to any questions! We absolutely loved it here and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great location with pacific beach and the boardwalk beach being nice to stroll around. Food wise, all venues are available and very tasty. The excellent view from the deck overlooks the ocean, exactly where surfers and kite surfers can be seen! Beach access is great as well!

This Property Delivers
This property delivers on all levels! Exactly as described with many extras (boards, bikes, chairs, grill, coolers, etc) that would cost additional otherwise. Mary is a true gem and an excellent communicator, likewise with Gina. Lists of local recommendations and willing to tailor them to your tastes. She happily met us for check-in late when our flight was unexpectedly delayed. The Pacific Beach location is stunning and close to everything we needed as we didn't rent a car. Our group of 4 had plenty of room and took full advantage of the stove and supplied kitchenware as well as the on-site washer & dryer. Very highly recommend it!

Perfect Beach Getaway

A must stay!
The problem with our stay was it was too short! The unit could not be in a better location. Beautiful views of the beach, ocean and the most glorious sunsets! The beach was just steps away. Access to everything San Diego has to offer is easy to get to from this location. The unit is cozy and comfy and has everything you need for your stay. Mary met us the moment we arrived and made us feel welcomed and at home. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular Ocean View
Our group of four adults just returned from a fantastic stay at this comfortable, lovely property at North Pacific Beach. The upstairs apartment is in a small building in a very nice established residential neighborhood overlooking the beach. The ocean view is incredible; we saw porpoises, pelicans, as well as surfers and wind surfers. We were steps away from a set of stairs with handrails down to the long beach. Heading south you can walk for a few miles. Our group had plenty of room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has its own bathroom. The newer kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed, We were able to cook in the kitchen just fine. We had space to sit at the kitchen counter, and the living room fit the 4 of us very comfortably. The natural light comes into the living room from the south and west, making this a very cheery space. Coming from the Seattle area in February, this was just what we were looking for. Spending time on the private deck enjoying the sun and view was amazing. This property location is a very convenient jumping off point for sightseeing. Less than 30 minutes south to downtown SD, a few more to get out to Coronado Island. Or go north to visit Torrey Pines Nature Reserve in less than 30 minutes. Beautiful La Jolla is about a 10 minute drive. Numerous good restaurants are close by and food choices are varied. If you you are in need of anything, let the manager, Mary, know. She is extremely helpful, and very responsive. We came in a couple days before the big windstorm, which damaged the deck windbreak a bit. Mary was there quickly to check the damage and had the handyman there in no time. We would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it.

Great view and comfortable home
Our family enjoyed 5 nights here. The home was comfortable for us as a couple with two young adults who both needed their own sleeping spaces. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for light meals. The view is amazing! You couldn’t ask for a better ocean view. Nice to see surfers throughout the day, and the deck is a great place to watch the sun set. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The home is also well located to drive to Torrey Pines, La Jolla Cove, Balboa Park, and Coronado.

What an amazing get away!
I’m not sure where to begin. Everything was as expected and more. Everyone we talked to was welcoming and helpful from the booking to check in and check out. The views of surfers, dolphins and sunsets from the deck cannot be beat. We are hooked and will definitely be back!

This is our second time at this property within the past 4 years...would not stay anywhere else. Location, location, location! Easy drive to everywhere and the view is spectacular. Wanted to come in October but had to wait until December for opening...book early! Mary and Gina are fantastic to deal with.

Say yes to this property!
Spaciou, comfortable, generously stocked with everything you need for beach fun, cooking, and entertaining! Just show up and enjoy the amazing view, surfers and dolphins every morning while sipping your coffee on the nice sized Patio overlooking a panoramic view of ocean. This is one of our better finds on the water in SD. Nice too because it is not on the boardwalk, less people, quiet, and Mary was a great hostess!

Thanksgiving at the Beach
This is a great property ! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration here . The Condo is very well appointed, quiet and comfortable. You cannot beat the ocean view from the windows and the gorgeous deck . Communication with property management was top notch! I highly recommend this property !

Mary was awesome, very informative! The house and location was absolutely perfect. We did not rent a car during our stay but there was plenty within walking distance and we Ubered anywhere else we wanted to go. The neighborhood was busy, but quiet overall which made it so relaxing!

Magical week
We had the most magical week here. The view from the condo is like no other. Watching the sunset from the deck was one of our favorite times. We cook a lot and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Mary was so great with communication from the booking to the check-in. Book it now. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic Stay
Great property, convenient to everything, yet just far enough away from the boardwalk for a quieter Pacific Beach experience. Beach is right across the street, and down the steps. Mary is fantastic. Great location and a KILLER view
We couldn't have asked for a better location for our San Diego vacation. On the advice of a friend we looked for places to stay in PB and found this gem. You are right on the beach with an awesome view of every Pacific sunset! It was clean, comfortable, and came equipped with everything we needed. On top of that, Mary met us at the property for check-in to make sure we knew where everything was, made recommendations on things to see and do, and answered all of our questions. Would definitely recommend!!
