Lovely cottage in a rural setting. My pups especially loved hanging out in the Notes: Bring GROUND coffee as carafe style coffee pot (not pods). Bring first aid kit - I cut myself - no bandaids.7 Akitas and a Doberman next door. Cannot let your dogs out in front yard as they would run down and start pacing the fence line. And I would not advise taking yours dogs for a walk. I missed it on the listing but there was another cottage on the property. Would have been awkward if someone was staying there. But great if you had a large group.Horsethief Trail: 1.6 miles S on 522. Flat Rock Lake: Beautiful area for a walk. (Questa)Rio Grande Stables: 4 miles N. (Excellent)Taos Plaza: 22 milesOverall my stay was excellent. Again, appreciate I could have my dogs there with me.

Home is warm, spatious, and comfortable with everything needed for cooking, family time, and relaxing. Hot tub is perfect for unwinding under the stars. Short commute to Taos Ski Valley.

There are so many wonderful things to say about this property! It was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and furnished, and well-equipped. There are neighbors close by, but it still felt secluded and private. We used the kitchen and fireplace nightly, and loved star gazing from the hot tub. And our dog loved all the free space outside to explore and roam! Our week spent here was one of my favorite memories of the year. I hope to return one day soon!

This was the most perfect setting for our trip to Taos. We found this little place very relaxing and absolutely perfect for our needs. Our pups LOVED the courtyard. I don’t think my first time to this area would have been the same without this rental. Can’t wait to return… next time for even longer! This rental has everything you could possibly need to feel at home when away from home. The host is super responsive and very accommodating. I couldn’t recommend more! Loved this little place so much I didn’t want to leave. Thank you for everything, Patti!

We absolutely loved this property! We stayed for a full month to escape the heat in Texas, and felt so at home here. I was teared- eyed when we had to leave. We will definitely be back as soon as we can, especially next summer!

The adobe house is very well maintained with grill, hot-tub, courtyards and garden. The surrounding area is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. All the conveniences are provided. Very pet friendly. Location is convenient to Taos and Red River, but far enough away to feel in-the-country. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful home to stay in. It was stocked with all the essentials that you would need. The place was clean and the kitchen had everything that you would get at home. The host was very kind and got back with us if we had any questions. She was very accommodating with our needs. Thank you Patti for being so understanding and letting us stay in your beautiful place.

We have stayed in the Taos area 9 times now and we enjoyed this rental more than any of the others. The cottage is well sited and laid out with lovely views into the back yard and mountains beyond. It is a very peaceful place, comfortably furnished and tastefully appointed with nice touches throughout.

This wonderful home was so cozy. It has extremely comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The fireplaces added ambiance to this comfortable country home and it is decorated so beautifully. My husband and 2 pups enjoyed our stay.

My husband, dog and I stayed for a week here while dividing our time between Red River and Taos (it is pretty close to the mid point between the two towns).The adobe house is lovely and very comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked, including spices. We cooked a meal there everyday and needed nothing (other than the food). The views are beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. I enjoyed the courtyards and the desert flowers around the house.

The house is very nice. We especially liked the two enclosed courtyards which allowed for us to let our dogs be with us outside while we relaxed or looked up at the star-filled sky. We found plenty to do in the Taos area for a week long vacation, and it was great to have a home away from home. We highly recommend this adobe cottage which is convenient to everything the area has to offer yet away from the bustle of Taos itself.
