The view from the condo is stunning! Condo is in a great location, easy walking to the beach, pier etc. The management company is easy to work with, Luke responded to the issues that needed to be addressed quickly. However, they used new cleaners, the place was not clean. Condo definitely needs some attention and updating, so many things need replacing like the carpets that are very stained, furniture that needs replacing. Fan and lights need a remote that works. The place has good bones, just needs to be undated.

The location was great. Unfortunately the front door lovk only worked once to open the door and would not lock again. Notified the manager and they gave us two different codes and one only worked once. So essentially the place was unlocked all weekend long. When I notified management again I never got a response.

Great Location, Poor Upkeep

Blocks from the San Clemente pier and beach. Beach views from every room. The three ensuite bedrooms were great for three couples. Disappointed in the stained carpets in the bedrooms. The downstairs bathroom had permanent stains on the tub and bathmat, broken vanity tiles and wobbly floor tiles. One outside chair was missing a cross bar causing one of us to fall off the chair. The dryer did not heat sufficiently and the poorly mounted towel hooks in the laundry area fell off the wall.

Wonderful location

Great property in a perfect location. The sunsets from the balcony are unreal and we saw dolphins swimming by daily. Comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 children with a high chair and cot provided. The condo is a little dated and could do with a refesh of the bathrooms in particular, but would definitely stay here again.

Great vacation cottage near beach

Our family loved our vacation at this beautiful cottage in San Clemente. It was located a couple blocks from the San Clemente Pier and beach, and close to many excellent restaurants in town. Lovely ocean views from every room, and a wonderful porch/balcony. Highly recommend!

SoCal relaxation

We love SoCal after living there for a bit. Was so fun to return and be close to all our favorite things. The place was perfect for our family of four and really close walk to the beach, San Clemente trail, and the pier. The property management was very responsive, we had the coffee maker fail and they had a new one there by the afternoon. Would definitely stay again!

Suggested improvements

We love the property and location but would like to suggest a couple of improvements. 1. Replace the toilet in bedroom 2 upstairs with a modern ADA elongated chair height toilet. Maybe all the others too. 2 Replace polyester blend sheets with 100% cotton. We enjoyed our second visit to A. Will be back next year.

Family reunion/vacation

The location of this property is amazing! No regrets - would absolutely stay there again. As mentioned in the listing - limited parking is an issue, so you just need to be able to be flexible. But so worth it! And the home has been setup & furnished in such a way that allows great flexibility for numerous adults 👍 interior could use a little sprucing up - but overall wonderful.

Perfect location

Great location. Plenty of space. Great beds. Fully furnished kitchen. Lovely balconies. Thank you for beach chairs and towels! Plenty of hot water available for showers. Quick response from Vacasa management. Feels like home away from home. Suggestions: Duvet on window-side bed in downstairs bedroom needs to be washed. Kitchen chair pads need to be replaced. Rugs are very dirty. Stairway handrails need to be cleaned.

Great location and nice that all bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The floors were not clean- when wiping up spilled water on a bathroom floor, the towel showed the dirt. In the living area the rug was embedded with animal hair (although there was a no animal policy)- we had to clean the rug ourselves and tgen put down a blanket to reduce my 10 month old granddaughter’s allergic reaction.

Wow… just wow!

This home is perfect! They give just about anything you’d need to be comfortable and feel at home and the community is perfect, just at the bottom of the hill is the ocean and at the top plenty of shops and food! The property management responds fast so that a huge plus as well!

Perfect location

This VRBO is in the perfect location. It’s a quick walk up to the main street with the bars, restaurants and shops. It’s also a quick minute walk down to the beach. The property was clean and stocked with the basics. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs so you can sleep with the windows open for the ocean breeze, and if you wake up with the sun, you may want a sleep mask because the rooms get bright at 5:30. Would we stay again? Yes.

Wonderful location and size for a family

The property was a great size for our family of 8 including 2 grandchildren. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. The location was beautiful with views of the ocean and short walk to the beach. We appreciated that the unit had a pack n play and high chair for the infant. Plus beach toys and many other beach items in the garage. I would highly recommend this unit for a larger group.

Serenity!

Great property- better than imagined! Gorgeous view from most windows and the balcony was perfect! Everything was clean and well organized, beds were very comfortable. Two en-suites upstairs was ideal for a getaway with a friend- both were spacious and had incredible views! We didn’t want to leave!

Near the Beach but Noisy & Hot

We arrived late in the day, 7:30. At first blush, everything looked clean. The home has loads of space for a family of 7 (grandma, grandpa, daughter, son-in-law, 3 granddaughters). Southern California was in the middle of a bad heat wave & the house was really hot. We quickly went to every room & opened up the windows and turned the ceiling fans on. Still very hot. The home is very close to the beach but it is on a hill so there is a climb back if anyone has mobility issues. The block it is on is jam packed with apartments & multiple homes in one property. This home has 4 units for rent, A, B, C, & D. We arrived on a Friday night. Lots of people out on the street, cars, motorcycles & parties on the weekend. We had to have the windows open to let the breeze in with the blinds open as well which have us no respite from the noise. It is also a very heanily lit street at night so with everything open, the rooms aren’t dark. I had emailed the management company, Vacasa & inquired about fans because of the heat & was told there were lots in the house. There were ceiling fans in the living room & 3 bedrooms plus one floor fan. I emailed Vacasa & they were really awesome about getting fans brought to the home the day after our arrival. A big shout out to Christy who dropped one off within the hour & bought 2 more, later. We tried to cook dinner that night, the kitchen was stifling. Our daughter & family had trouble sleeping upstairs with the heat. No BBQ. 2 days later, Christy is assembling a BBQ on the side of the house. She was awesome. Sadly, the house remained awfully hot & noisy. Lots of coffee shops around & restaurants.. The home is older. The pictures make it look fresh and modern. It is not. The kitchen is in good shape but the rest of the furniture is worn & could use a good cleaning. The carpets too. Lots of glass in the home on the table tops & no glass cleaner. No plastic in the kitchen to store anything, no dish clothes for washing & cleaning up. 1 small travel size dish soap for a 10 day, 7 people booking. Ran out of TP & had to buy some. Bought food storage containers, dish clothes & a couple of tea towels. When I emailed Vacasa that the house was short on these items, I was told it wasn’t their responsibility to provide the amenities beyond the first couple of days. Our price per night certainly didn’t reflect a discount for lack of that. We wouldn’t come back to this home. Love San Clemente but not that house.
