Great facility for a large group or family gathering. The porch on the casita needs a little attention, but we enjoyed our stay immensely. The hosts were prompt in communicating and helped us host a rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding.

Incredible property & no better place to celebrate my wedding with family and friends. Absolute beautiful views to wake up to every morning along with plenty of room to accommodate the wedding party. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the gorgeous hill country on an awesome property.

Family get away

It was not the perfect getaway for my family. Each area was too far apart. It rained the whole weekend so we were kinda stuck in the house. With that being said, I had have my daughter go get a Roku so the little kids could watch some movies because they only had digital antenna and not good connection. I bought a fan for the master because it was way warmer than the rest of the house. The pool was amazing. The kids loved it, when it wasn’t lightening we were able to let them swim. I was not aware the owners house is right next to all of it so I didn’t feel we had our privacy I was paying for. It felt like we were intruding on someone’s private property. The owners seemed nice. Only communicated with the wife most of the trip.

We had an awesome trip!

From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted by this property. The grounds are absolutely stunning – every corner feels like a hidden gem, with breathtaking views that made the entire experience feel like a dream. The different houses on the property were each unique and magical in their own way, offering both comfort and charm that made our group feel right at home.Our hosts were beyond welcoming – warm, responsive, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and their hospitality added such a personal touch to our stay.The wedding was nothing short of amazing. With the incredible backdrop of the trees and the natural beauty of the property, it felt like a fairytale. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion.Highly recommend – this place is a slice of heaven!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Beautiful scenery. Comfortable facilities, pool area was very nice. Our family was able to make use of the properties and not be crowded. It was great.

Vasquez Family Weekend

Overall, our stay was indeed very nice and calm. The main cabin may have been a little small for all of us, but we enjoyed the facilities and Mr. & Mrs. Mehall were extremely nice and friendly.

Guys folf trip

We had 8 guys get together for 3 days of golf. We were playing multiple rounds each day and a hot tub to soak in each evening was aa must have for our rental. I requested the hottub be heated each evening. I got confirmation that it would be. The first night we got to the house we got into our suits just to find a cold hottub. Owner said it broke the night before our arrival but i was not given any notice at all. Ended up with a house with no hottub. The bunkhouse also had a terrible smell if we ran the A/C. Luckily the nights were cool enough to sleep with the windows open

Great Country getaway

We spent the Holidays at the Still Waters Ranch and really enjoyed our time in the country setting that was very peaceful and quiet. Our bunch was able to spread out comfortably in the various accommodations. The kiddos especially enjoyed the game room and pool / hot tub! The outdoor pavilion was great for our group (we wished we had brought a wagon to haul meal supplies back and forth from the bungalow). The hosts were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Peaceful Beautiful Texas Country Ranch

Our 2nd visit was as wonderful as our first and we hope to visit again soon. Our Friends and I love this Ranch for our remote getaway weekends. Relaxing by the pool with the perfect view, is our favorite. Thank you for having us.

Family Get Together

The ranch was a beautiful retreat, quiet and wonderful scenery. I was a perfect place to have the grandkids enjoy a vacation with us. Bob and Sandy were great hosts. I would recommend a stay here to refresh your soul.

Fantastic Peaceful Resort

What a dream stay! The property entrance invites you into this lovely retreat! The grounds are so beautiful. All of the housing is sharply decorated & spaced so everyone gets their privacy. We fell in love with the pool & patio area! Such a fantastic place to take in each sunset every day!

Great family reunion space

Wonderful space for large family reunions. We were able to celebrate with 40 friends and family (17 staying there and the rest day guests) and never felt crowded! The bungalow is comfortable and the casita and bunk house very rustic but they served their purpose.Great experience!

Staycation

We decided to do our family vacation a little closer to home this year and chose Bulverde. We had 6 stay in the bungalow and it was perfect. We really enjoyed the pool and loved the landscape. There were so many flowers and butterflies, it was gorgeous. The views from the pool were amazing and the stars at night were very visible. I would just leave a little warning that there are a lot of red wasps around. They typically didn’t bother us, but we found out the hard way that if you leave a towel to dry outside overnight, there will be a wasp in it in the morning. We heard the cows more than we saw them and got to see a handful of deer when we walked the property. The owners’ 2 dogs occasionally stopped by to say hello or cool off in the pool, very friendly but not TOO friendly. Definitely recommend as a nice place to stay!

Wonderful Family & Amazing Property

I can't say enough about how much we loved our stay at Still Waters Ranch. Sandy and Bob have taken such pride and care in their property and we were blessed to have them share it with us. I know we will be back and loved getting to spend quality time with our family together for the first time since COVID. The property is spectacular- and we spent MANY hours at the pool with our family and kids. THANK YOU for making this rental more than that- it was our home.

Relaxing family vacation

Our family truly enjoyed our time at this tranquil property! Frankly, several of us wanted to move in forever! The ample space to spread out and many entertaining amenities gave us the family fun we were looking for. The only draw back was that the bungalow kitchen was quite small for such a large group. This was clearly called out in the description and with the addition of the pavilion and grill space, all our needs were met. We would happily return in the future.

Reunion Getaway

Wonderful time away from busy city life to just enjoy and reconnect with children, grandchildren. The pool is awesome and much enjoyed by all. You would be hard pressed to find a nice pool and atmosphere. So many other activities, from pitching horseshoes, to pool table, corn hole, hiking. A nearby evening rodeo was a fun event.
