Great stay overall. Couple of things need updated. (A broken stool, a broken closet door) found old dead cockroach in the living room. Nothing too major, as we are not picky. But would suggest those updates.

This is a great house on a very quiet street and is very close to everything you need (groceries, restaurants, shopping). It is an older home that needs some updating, but very roomy and everyone was able to spread out. We didn't get in the pool because of the cooler weather, but it looked great. The owner was very responsive and checked in with us.

If you just want a high-capacity place to sleep, this property serves the purpose. Otherwise, you should be aware of several location and maintenance problems before booking.The house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It is about 8-10min drive to Quarry Market mall and 15-20min to downtown attractions like the River Walk and the Alamo. Because the property is so close to the airport, the sound of jet engines is frequent and loud. Additionally, the window treatments in several bedrooms do not fully block out the morning sun, which may affect those who aren't early risers.The property shows significant signs of deferred maintenance. During our stay, we observed: - Cracked ceilings and walls, as well as damaged flooring throughout. - Two of the three showers were in poor condition with low water pressure. - Two sinks did not produce hot water. - Multiple bedroom doors would not remain latched/closed. - The HVAC system in one of the bedrooms is exceptionally loud when running.We noted the damage to the host during our stay.We encountered drain flies in the bathrooms. The presence of multiple pre-installed plug-in fly repellents in these areas suggests this is a known, ongoing issue.Regarding the amenities, the game room needs attention. The foosball table was broken, the poker table was rusted, and the ping pong table is in a space too cramped for comfortable play.On a positive note, the kitchen was decent and equipped appropriately for a rental.
Damaged and unmaintained floors snagged our socks.

The shower/bath was flaking and unmaintained. The handle was loose as well. Low water pressure.

The house was wonderful, clean, neat, well organized. Sleeping room for many. Washer/dryer on site, ample linens to use, well stocked kitchen with good appliances. The pool and game room were great, didn’t have the chance to use them but they were there if you had time. Host is in regular contact asking how everything was going so if there was an issue, they get right back with you. Have recommended the house to friends - it’s not far to the zoo, Seaworld, Morgan’s Wonderland, and very convenient to downtown. Wonderful house for a family. Also has good internet.

Roof leaked first & second day due to heavy rain, could have used simple kitchen items like cheese grater, strainer, & basic seasonings. The property manager was very cordial when I suggested some basic improvements they need to do. Overall it was a decent place to stay, my kids loved the pool & gameroom.

Kitchen set up was nice. I was surprised with everything that was made available. We bought our own paper plates, but there were paper plates already in the cabinet. Real dishes are also available, along with everything you need to wash dishes. Great location!

The house was warm and friendly had all the amenities we needed the air conditioning was very cool and the pool was just perfect for our family it was nice to come home after a Day running around and soak in the pool We very much enjoyed it There was good contact with the person managing it. They were great at giving us information and checking on us and ensure our stay was going well. I appreciate the experience of being in Texas and the hospitality of the home and manager. 5 star!! I would definitely go there if i come back this way.

Space great for family

We loved all the space and the pool. It was 10 to 15 minutes to all our destinations.Pool towels and better quality bath towels needed. More toilet paper for the amount of guests is needed. The pool area is needing some upkeep attention.Overall, we would return.

Location and Spacious

We enjoyed our stay at this very spacious home centrally located in San Antonio. Located in a quiet neighborhood the home has numerous amenities and room to enjoy your stay. The host was quick to respond to questions and professional. Overall great stay.

Property size good for family vacation.Foul smell in kitchen pantry, couldn't useDangerously poor pool furniture...did receive correspondence that owner had ordered new pool furniture. Pool water left rashes on some guests skin, never heard filter turn on, explains cloudy waterAdditional house maintenance items left open within small children's reach in laundry room. No door.Bed sheets had stains on them upon arrival. Felt uneasy about cleanliness of linens. No roku remote in gameroom, highland cow bedroom and giraffe bedroom.Recommend you bring your own pool towels.On the positive note the Property management co did quickly address an issue we had. Comfy beds.

The location was nice, the place has a lot of potential but needs a lot of updates. The single bathtub that they have is stripping of paint and the bathtub itself did not work (only the shower). Throughout our stay, there was a lot of rain and there was water coming up through the floorboards in the main bedroom. We contacted the management company and they did not respond when we told them about this (they responded to three other texts we sent them about various other items that we had). The pool has a lip around it that makes it tough to jump in for the kids but is fine. The furniture and decks around are worn but overall a decent experience. A great spot for a bachelor/bachelorette party that doesn't care as much about these things.

Overall a good, spacious house for the price.We had an issue with the pool being pretty dirty when we arrived but it was eventually taken care of. Not sure why it wasn't cleaned the day of our arrival. There was also not enough wash rags available to take baths and showers when we arrived. We went out and bought our own. We were refunded but it's the inconvenience. One thing that's not really apparent from the pictures is the driveway is a pretty steep incline. This can be a dealbreaker for some with certain vehicles, it wasn't for us, but we wished it was made known before booking. Also, the house needs updated pots and pans, they're pretty bad. If you want to cook, better bring your own. Other than that, it fulfilled our needs for a clean, spacious place to lay our heads. Water pressure is a plus.
