The property was clean, centrally located to the places we visited. The home is located in an older, middle class part of town, we felt safe and that the location is mostly family homes. The home is stocked nicely with dishes and other items that you wouldn’t think to pack, soy sauce, zip lock bags, coffee filters etc. There were plenty of pillows and extra blankets which was nice. Heater and AC both worked great, crazy Texas weather had us using both during our stay. There is a Target just up the road a little ways, HEB’s by are everywhere in San Antonio. Host sent check in instructions prior to checking in and check out instructions prior to check out making it easier. Our stay was nice, we enjoyed ourselves when at the home and do recommend this home.

6 Adults & 2 dogs stayed here, plenty of room for all of us, location easy to get to everywhere pretty fast. Would recommend this house for sure.

Home is nicely equipped with needed supplies. Easy to deal with the owners who are very nice. The only disappointment we had is the back yard. No grass so yard is essentially dirt (it is Texas though). There is broken pieces of glass/plastic in backyard near walls of house. The horrible tree over the back deck drops sap filled leaves which stuck to our dog’s dirt filled paws. We ended up not allowing the dogs in the yard for safety and cleanliness. Very quiet neighborhood.

I want to say that VRBO needs to have a better rating system because the stay was so much better than Good, but it wasn’t Excellent. The home is very nice and comfortable, but I was put off by the posting of all the rules everywhere. We didn’t have the proper code to enter the property but we were able to get in touch with the owner and get not too long after our arrival. The A/C unit, in the little room near the garage, makes this loud noise periodically, which scared the you-know-what out of me when it would happen! If I came back to San Antonio, I’d stay again. Thank you!

Week Long Stay

My husband and a co-worker attended a trade show in San Antonio and I was able to work from the house using WiFi with no problem at all. We had a great time and were able to visit during down time. Our 2 dogs also had fun in the fully fenced backyard.The hosts were wonderful. I would highly recommend this location which is close to lots of shopping, restaurants and, of course, downtown San Antonio.

Surface Cleaned Home

There are a lot of updates that are needed for this place. Cleanliness was not good at all. I was unable to shower in the master bathroom as the shower leaks and there were dark mold stains in the corners so there were 5 people using one shower. The main bathroom makes a loud sound when you turn it on and it continues the whole time. The air conditioner unit in the main area makes weird noises as well to the point every time it would come on my youngest daughter was scared and would run to me. The walls had smudges and marks all over them as well. The grass was super high outside in the front and needed to be cut. The only positive experience was the check in and check out process.

San Antonio Gem

Our family unanimously loved this place. We would definitely recommend. It marked all the boxes. The layout, the location, the yard, the supplies, the decor and little touches, made this a great place to stay for a few days or more. We even got to enjoy a game of trivial pursuit with our teens. Great place to stay- close to Lackland AFB

Nice mid-century home located near Lackland AFB. Had everything we could need for our 3-day stay. It was especially nice to have a washer and dryer to use in the home. Very close to anything you may need, shopping, restaurants, etc. Easy access to the interstate. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms perfectly met our needs with 6 people staying in the home for 3 days. We would stay again.

Lackland AFB Visit

Great location for my purposes. Minutes away from downtown, airport,AFB. Home was clean and as advertised. Checking in was easy and both owners have been easy to reach and responsive.
