  • Welcome to Alamo City Getaway! Our goal is to provide a relaxing home so that you can have a memorable time in San Antonio.

    Before booking we kindly ask to keep our house rules in mind: Max occupancy is 8 guests, no parties, no pets, and no smoking indoors. If these rules suit your needs we would love to host your family. Located 4 miles from Sea World, 9 miles from Lackland, and 16 miles from Six Flags, La Cantera, and Downtown SA. We welcome BMT Grad Fams! Looking forward to hosting ya’ll soon!

    - 3 Smart TV's. Log into your streaming accounts with ease.
    - Fully stocked kitchen with baking, grilling, cooking needs
    - Kid friendly (toys/books/board games)

    The pool is always open but it is not heated. If you are looking to swim in the winter months, the water may be too cold. Even during cooler months, our backyard is still a great place to stargaze and relax with the family!

    Our home is family friendly and equipped with a pack and play upon request.

    Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the garage. Parking for 2 vehicles is available in the driveway.

    When booking please enter the correct number of guests to ensure adequate towels and toiletries. **Please respect our maximum occupancy of 8 guests.** Parties are not allowed, no outside guests. Our home is strictly an animal-free/smoke free zone due to severe allergies.

    There are exterior ring security lights with cameras on the property and a ring doorbell at the entrance.

Wonderful Family House

My family stayed here for about 10 days in June (4 adults and 3 kids). The house was perfect! There was plenty of room for everyone and it was a great house for the kids. The pool was amazing to have during the summer heat. Would definitely stay here again!

House was very accommodating for our family. Beautiful property. We had a very relaxing week sitting by pool, grilling and enjoying sunshine! We could use pool last day as it was chilly earlier in week. Will definitely choose this home again in the future

Wonderful Place

We enjoyed ourselves very much at this house. We chilled as a family a couple of nights and just grilled out and enjoyed the pool. Jay was very easy to work with and quick to respond if I had any questions. Look forward to staying here again next year for AAU tournament!

Good stay. Loved the pool. Host could do better equipping home for a family of 6. 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, 3 garbage bags and 2 dishwasher pods don’t last a family a full 7 days. I like a fully equipped house so I don’t spend all my vacation at the market. Otherwise a comfortable home and very family friendly.

Fantastic home!

This home was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. No strong scents or allergens. Plenty of space to spread out and the pool was awesome. Close to plenty of shopping options and a completely stocked kitchen. Jay was so great to communicate with.

This property & home are fabulous for BMT families

This house/property is awesome. We stayed in January and it was immaculate, close to the Walmart & AFB, and really made our visit seem like home. I recommend to any family attending BMT graduation ceremonies. Fabulous. Owner responsive. Great first VRBO.

Loveliness overload, Only problem is I had to leave😢

My family and I stayed at this property while on fall vacation! Everything was beautiful, lovely and exactly as advertised(maybe even better if that’s possible)! The owner, Jay, and his wife were sooo nice and wonderful to work with! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!! The pool, the sunroom, the oh so comfortable beds that hold you hostage! Everything!!!The only negative thing that we experienced is the fact that we had to leave!!! I highly recommend this beautiful home and hope I get the opportunity to call this place my temporary home again in the near future! Thanks Jay!!! Anya

This property is in a great location to everything. The home needs a little TLC. Frying pans need to be replaced and as in notes left, there are things that this property needs in order to make it more comfortable. The pool was a relif from the hot humid days.

Excellent experience, would recommend

This house was perfect for my family of 4. We stayed in this house for a week. With four bedrooms and plenty of living space we never felt crowded like you would in a hotel room. When at the house we spent a lot of time in the pool and relaxing while avoiding the heat. The owner was pleasant throughout all communication and was helpful with local suggestions. I do recommend this property and plan to rebook on our next visit to SA. Thanks to the owner!

Perfect start to Summer 🤩

Your home was a wonderful place for our San Antonio adventure with the grandchildren. The older children loved the pool and the baby could crawl through out the house safely. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation and the beds were comfortable. Thank you, we may come back next year 🎉.

Home with pool

The house was nice and very clean, but we rented the house for the pool. It had green algae in the pool that you could move with a broom. Speaking with the manager he in formed us it was because of the rain that day. My grandkids were very disappointed that they could not swim, which is why we rented the house. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Home away from home

This is a great property when visiting San Antonio. Close to everything. Comfortable, felt like home & we had a group of 7. Plenty of room for all of us. The owner is helpful and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Definitely met our needs

House was just as described on the listing. We had everything we needed for a succesful stay. My family was visiting for the USAYESS National Youth Tournament at the National Shooting Center. The house was convenient, in a neighborhood that seemed and felt safe, and easy to get to. The pool was actually larger than we expected, and a great relaxing place for all of us after a long Texas hot day at the range. We would definitely choose this house again for next year's competition.
