The home was very nice, in a very nice location. The host was super friendly, answered all questions very quickly. This is a very nice home for a great price. Can’t wait to come again.

NEEDS ATTENTION - NOT CLEAN!

We were very disappointed! The house was dirty - all doors, window sills, baseboards, etc were dirty. Dead flies in the window sills. Mold in the shower. Both front and back doors had big gaps under them that allowed bugs in and we killed several bugs in the home. I have several pictures of the dirty home if Vrbo wants to see those pictures. I emailed the host about these issues and did not receive a response.

would’ve rather stayed at a hotel

location was overall central to everything which was great, but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others! there’s an air gap under the front door that needs to be fixed; leaves kept blowing in front door lock sometimes doesn’t work and won’t let you get outonly 1 spare toilet paper for the entire house & no napkins whatsoever the pull out couch doesn’t lock and my guest fell through multiple times; i’d also say that it definitely cannot fit two people as advertised no check in message was received and messaged multiple times as well as called just to get the code to get into the house which took a few hours to finally get some sort of response multiple showers took HOURS to drain; messaged host about it and received no response2nd suite bathroom door doesn’t open and shut properly and multiple people got stuck inside outdoor fence is literally coming apart and falling down and is absolutely unsafe for those traveling with pets

Not what it seems!

I encourage you to read all reviews before booking here. I booked before reading reviews and what a mistke i made. There is really too much to list. basically as all vrbo listings the home is used for investment. The only difference is that most people reinvest. These owners do not, or if they do, its from the dollar store, and any work being done is by i can only assume the owner that has no clue what they are doing. The bugs are out of this world, inside and outside of the home. Bring your own pillows and a mattress pad if you can. you will have the worse back ;pain after your stay here. I would never reccommend a stay in this home to anyone. Pictures in the listing are very deceiving so beware.

San Antonio Stay

The location to the Riverwalk was great! We were also within walking distance to a few different restaurants. The Host was very quick to respond to questions/concerns regarding the house.

Bring your own paper products

We arrived at night, and the first thing we noticed is that a set screw that should keep the doorknob on the back door was missing. The dead bolt did not insert completely into the hole that was drilled for it. If you stood outside and shook the outside doorknob, the door would open. We solved that by adding a folding door that was not attached to the laundry to lean against the back door. That way there would be a loud noise if someone broke in. Also, one night the AC in both bedrooms went out. When we looked at the service panel inside the house, the slot for the AC was empty. There are ductless AC units, and I suppose the AC breaker is somewhere else, but we did not know where. I communicated with the property owner via the VRBO app and requested that the AC be fixed before we returned the next day. The owner did fix this the next day. There were no paper towels or tissues, and just 1.5 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. I did communicate about this with the property manager, via the app, asking for paper towels in particular, and received no feedback. There was one washrag in each bathroom to last for one week, along with 2 towels. We were there to be at a convention, so we spent very little time there. There were some roaches, as others have noted.

Poop and Bugs

The problem with this house is the poop and the bugs. The front yard is filled with gravel, which attracts cats to poop there. The poop attracts flies, mosquitos, and other bugs. Each time you open the door, these bugs enter house. There are constant flies, mosquitos, spiders in the house. Couldn't count the number of bugs we have to swat during our stay there. We all have several mosquito bites. Other problems with the house include stains on blankets, toilet bowl stains, broken toaster, broken folding door that hides washer/dryer, broken back door handle, broken bath bar handle. I'm sure there are other broken things that I've forgotten. Also, house can only accommodates 5, not 6. The couch only has room for 1 adult to sleep in.

Unfortunate.

This property was renovated in a flash and thrown up on this site to help it sell as a "MoneyMaking" Short term rental. Which did a huge disservice to the website, the home was filled with the cheapest amenities from amazon and infested with roaches. My family had the worst sleep in decades. If the other reviews for this home were real, we could have avoided spending almost $175 a day out the door for this 1 star motel.

Close to all the downtown attractions. 3 full bathrooms with family room sofa bed makes this house essentially 3 bedrooms for the price of 2.

Family Trip

Loved the house; very cozy & welcoming had everything we needed for our family of 5! We were really close to all the places we had planed to visit on our stay as well, so that made it even more appealing as well! Great communication with the owner as well. All in all, a great place to stay!!
