Weekend trip to the Pearl and Beerfest

House is super cute and waking distance to the Pearl. Short ride share trips to downtown and surrounding sites. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent experience

The property was just as described and very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location to the Pearl, riverwalk and a variety of restaurants. Our host graciously offered us early check in and access was easy. I would definitely choose this spot again when in San Antonio!

Very Nice House

The house was exactly as pictured and very clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to Emma Hotel and the Pearl where there is a Food Hall and other restaurants within walking distance. The Farmers Market at the Pearl on the weekend was great. The neighborhood is going through regeneration and in time will be beautiful. Carlos was easy to work with and very professional. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay!

We took a short vacation here for warmer weather. It was a great location, close to the Riverwalk and within walking distance to the Pearl district. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back!

Loved the location! Walking distance to the pearl, which filled our weekend with things to see & do.

Such a cute home! We all enjoyed the space & were very comfortable. Owner was very helpful & quick to respond to any questions we had. Definitely would book this house again!

Cute cottage. Really enjoyed our stay.

Only issue was construction next door that resulted in a trench being dug across the front yard and driveway. This required us to park on the street and jump over the ditch each time we came or left because no covers were used for deep trench.

Nice House/Great Location

This house is perfect for six people who want to be near the Pearl District. It is a two-minute walk to restaurants, shops, and the beautiful River Walk. The house is modernized, clean and still has some of the charm you hope for in a 100-year-old house. The landlord communicates well and is delightful to talk/write to. I couldn't recommend this house more highly.

The area is still very much being developed, but the house is perfect to rent if you’re visiting relatives staying at the Pearl.

Practically Perfect at The Purple Pearl!

We loved our stay, family of 5 all adults for a long weekend! Great location. Walked the Pearl every day and enjoyed the farmer’s market, shops, dining. Easy to get to Riverwalk, Alamo etc. Felt safe, clean, great emenities, comfy beds, lovely decor. We knew when we booked, that the backyard was unavailable due to future landscaping plans but didn’t know that right along the side of the house where the bedrooms are, they’re starting construction on a new house and it was very early and very loud to wake up to. I could have passed them a cup of coffee out the window. If you don’t mind the noise and early wake up it’s not a problem. Carlos was easy to communicate with and we may stay here again in the future. Thank you!

Groomsmen hideout

Carlos is one of the easiest renters I’ve ever worked with! He is prompt, upfront, and very easy to work with. We stayed a few days to prepare for my brother’s wedding and it was great to know that the VRBO location and conditions were one thing we didn’t have to worry about. Next time in town I would not think twice about staying anywhere Carlos hosts.

Nice stay in great house

Location near Pearl wonderful on north end of river walk. House nicely decorated with all the things you need on vacay. Nice owner with swift communication. Thanks for the great stay.

Three night stay for family funeral.

We needed a house for family to stay to attend a funeral at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery. This 3 bedroom home was perfect. The location is ideal., near the Pearl district and River Walk. Beautiful walking paths. Because of the pandemic, we wanted to opportunity to get outside and walk. Cook breakfast each morning and have a few takeout meals. The home is marvelous. Newly remodeled in an attractive soft contemporary “HGTV” style. The amenities were abundant. Good firm beds, strong WiFi signal, well stocked kitchen. Nice linens, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. Carlos is the BEST! Excellent communications prior and during our stay. We plan to tell all our friends about this rental. I am sure that all of Carlos’ properties are top notch. He was very kind and let us check out an hour later than posted. All of the bedrooms have ceiling fans. The front porch is ideal for relaxing with a cup of coffee.

Carlos's Tobin Hill Property

This property is clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated. Perfect location across from the Pearl District. Great walking trail along the river. Sat on the front porch everyday for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Great restaurants nearby. Carlos is an amazing host. Highly recommend!

I would stay here again.

This is a wonderful house. It’s decorated well, very clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave the “location and neighborhood“ 4 stars is that it’s in an “up and coming neighborhood”. The house next door is run down and doesn’t look occupied. Does make for quiet neighbors, though! The location is an easy walk to the “Pearl” area with several restaurants and boutiques. I would stay here again.

Cottage Comfort at the Pearl

We wanted a small house near the Pearl with enough room for our family to gather for a Thanksgiving meal... this was the perfect place to be comfortable and enjoy the Pearl and River Walk -- both are literally a half block across the street. The house was clean and newly remodeled. No backyard yet but the front porch has a table and chairs which we used. Carlos is friendly and easy to connect with -- we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great House near the Pearl

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend in San Antonio. What a great house. It is well kept, clean and comfortable. And you can throw a stone at the Emma Hotel in the Pearl. We will be back!

Tobin Hill location attending a wedding at the Pearl/Hotel Emma.

Great location to The Pearl, Hotel Emma... very, very short walk. Property was the best VRBO or AirB&B experience we have had!
