Roach-Infested, Misrepresented Listing – Not Safe or Clean
I stayed at this property with my three children (ages 3, 5, and 20), and it was an extremely disappointing and stressful experience. The listing claimed to sleep 8, but there were only two beds. I disclosed the number of guests in advance to ensure adequate sleeping space, yet the owner later accused me of trying to sneak people in.The neighborhood felt unsafe, and I would not have chosen this location had I known more about the area. The check-in process was disorganized and inconvenient — the host tried to delay our check-in time beyond what was listed.The unit itself was organized but far from clean. The sheets appeared unchanged, there was only one trash bag provided for the entire week, and worst of all, the unit was infested with roaches. I encountered them in the shower and in the kitchen — one even jumped on me during my shower. This was particularly disturbing since I was traveling with young children.When I informed the host about the conditions, instead of addressing the issues professionally, she arrived at checkout with another man, which felt intentionally intimidating. Rather than taking responsibility, she denied the roach problem entirely.I would not recommend this property to anyone, especially families with children. The listing is misleading, the hygiene is unacceptable, and the host was confrontational rather than helpful.
