Responsiveness of our host was our primary issue. When we arrived, the door would not unlock. We waited a half hour until we finally received a call back. They unlocked the door remotely, and told us that they would fix the code. We left several messages the following day to inform them that the code was still not working, and never heard back. It was very unsettling leaving our belongings unsecured when we left the property for the dayThe property itself was a nice large property as described, and there were certain unexpected touches like soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, and other supplies provided in each bathroom. The rooms were nice and clean. It was a nice layout for a large family and a nice kitchen ( although kitchen should have been better stocked with pots and pans )The views are amazing and it had a nice pool.In most properties that we have stayed in, there was a welcome binder with instructions for the property, there was not one for this property The water is hard, and they really should have a water softener, the dishes all had hard water deposits The master shower was not working properly and flooded the master bathThere was a nice theater set up but the audio did not work wellThis property has great potential and most of the issues with the property itself could be easily addressed. Perhaps the host should have a backup available if they are not going to be able to respond. I was very clear on the messages that I wanted a call back and I never heard back
