cute place to lay your head if you are in town for a long weekend, clean with add touches like cooking spices and laundry pods made this a more comfortable stay. Beds are a bit rough for my 6'3 partner and the sofa was smaller than the pics with only one of the 2 but other than that quiet neighborhood.

The host was responsive and helpful. Accommodating to say the least. House was clean and ready to occupy. Our last day we were in the backyard and noticed a camera. We asked if it was on the day we left. She confirmed yes she has cameras in front and backyard. My husband and I consider the backyard a private area . She said it was in the description. Going forward we will pay more attention to the surveillance. We recommend it if you don’t like to have coffee naked in your backyard or do anything else private in the backyard.

Relaxed Stay

Brought my family over to Sea World for a weekend and I gotta say….. we are so glad we decided to acquire this home for our San Antonio Trip. It was cozy, clean, and relaxing for a reasonable price.

Nice quiet neighborhood until 11 pm Sat night

Neighbor's party got really loud about 11 pm. It was a Saturday night and good weather. I was glad they were having fun, but one of my dogs was disturbed by the volume.

I will say...The house was super cute! Thats why we chose it. If you want to deal with issues as the Renter then this is your place. Electricity was out several times. Air conditioning issues. The HOST quit answering calls and text messages. She did offer another house it was a 2 story. We went it was dirty. My grandbaby had black hands and feet less than 15 mins. We went back to original house as it started cooling after maintenance came. I get that things happen out of your control. This was over a span of 4 days...that we dealt with Electric company. On top of that...yard was not well taken care of tall grass. They removed a Tree one morning. Called us and let us know Pest Control was coming out one evening. The host did apologize...however she should have offer some kind of compensation. Nothing was offered. We had a baby and our daughter is expecting. So, air is super important especially in this Texas heat. I gave Grace....more than I should have. She messaged us on the way home to offer us an extra stay FREE of charge. I wouldn't have stayed if it was a FREE week. We have stayed in several VRBO homes and NEVER once had any issues. This has really put me on high alert. Traveling again in 2 weeks and I pray this next house is so much better at the beach!

Family Getaway Weekend

Super cute house. Love the giraffe decor. Really great bang for the buck. Decent neighborhood. Everything was very clean and communication with the owner was very easy and quick. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Home Away From Home!

The Giraffe Cottage was conveniently located close to the medical center as we were in town for a family member to have a kidney transplant. The home was immaculately cleaned and well kept. Family had to stay in town with the transplant recipient for almost a month and the cottage was just the thing that made being away from loved ones a little easier! Perfect hosts also!

Nice, remodeled home in a quiet neighborhood

We stayed over Labor Day weekend for a basketball tourney. The house is very clean and comfy, and is close to plenty of options for dining, shopping, etc. The neighborhood is very quiet, even though it is just off of 1604. We brought our English bulldog with us, and she was able to go in the backyard safely without a leash - we love staying in places with a fenced yard. Home is well-maintained. The giraffe theme was super cute. Overall, we had an excellent stay!

Clean and cozy with a large back yard

Giraffe Cottage was a delight to stay in. Very clean with comfortable beds, smart TV in both the living room and bedrooms, and a huge backyard, completely enclosed. Floors are perfect for pets with easy clean up after a rainy day. Contact with owner was easy and prompt. I would definitely stay here again.

Family get away

I was very happy to find the giraffe house as an option for our weekend getaway. It was the perfect size for our small family & allowed us to host some friends during our visit. The only small thing I would suggest is the grass to be cut our boys wanted to go play out back but the grass was too high to play with their trucks and toys. Also, I didn’t find any cleaning products so other than dish soap so had to make due when wiping up spills from my toddler. Other than that it was a great stay. Very quiet neighborhood, very accurate description of the home. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making it as comfortable as possible. We had a great time.

Perfect location!

My daughter and I flew to San Antonio for her to go to a series of classes and a final exam. We opted for a VRBO rather than hotel and I am so glad we did! This perfect house was in a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood and only 3 miles from her meeting place. The house itself had 3 bedrooms with queen beds in each - and the two we slept in were super comfortable. We got great sleep each night. There is a master bathroom and shared bathroom and both were nice. The house was immaculately clean and well arranged. The living room had comfortable furniture and there was a tv with roku in the living room and each bedroom. Check in and out was super easy and my questions prior to arrival were quickly answered. We are comletely pleased with our stay at the Giraffe Cottage and would certainly recommend it without hesitation. I would like to lastly say that it is is cutely appointed with giraffes but not in a child like way. Thank you to the hosts for allowing us to rent their nice VRBO while we were in San Antonio. We enjoyed our stay!
