We walked in and saw alive and dead cockroaches. We attempted to contact owner SEVERAL times. They NEVER responded. We booked another VRBO property for the remainder of our stay.

Do not stay here !

Let’s see, where to start. The sliding glass door at the rear of the house does not lock so in order to keep people from coming into the house unwanted at night, you have to put a metal bar in the track behind the door to keep it from opening. There is mold in the dishwasher. We did not receive check-in information until less than 24 hours before check-in. I was afraid we were going to have to try and make other last-minute arrangements. After arriving and going into the house, it was fairly clean but very old and dated. The house and backyard. have not been up kept, and the especially the backyard play area does not look anything like the pictures. When we left, we stripped the beds as instructed. The mattress in the master bedroom was so bad that if we had seen it before the end of the trip, we would not have even slept on it. I am sure the owners will say in their response that they will address these issues. But if you read the previous reviews, you will see most of this has been mentioned before, and nothing has been done about it. My advice to you, do not stay here.

Perfect Getaway

We loved the property. We checked in Friday and left Monday morning. We live in Houston and had family visiting the US from South America and took a trip to Sea World which property is close by. We enjoyed the pool and we barbecued with the family. Just the perfect lighting at the deck by the pool allowed us to enjoy the outdoors longer at night. The owner was very attentive, checking up if we needed anything, such as housekeeping etc. I highly recommend it. We bought our yearly membership to Sea World, so we will definitely comeback!

Disappointing

Property was disappointing and not at all worth the price point. Keypad was broken at check in and the contact person for the property was not answering their phone and it kept saying your call cannot be completed as dialed. Eventually someone’s answered and we got into the house and it was a sparsely stocked kitchen, old cheap mattresses, loud conjoined property, questionable security and a nasty pool. We personally stayed elsewhere. I should have communicated with host that we were unhappy but I opted not to as it was midnight and they were already terribly difficult to get ahold of. All in all, not worth the price at all

Good for families

Property has plenty of space and a great outdoor area. Close to entertainment and shopping. We'll stocked kitchen. Need to know: All bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs! Otherwise, it is a nice location.

Excellent location

The location is great for a trip to Floore's, golf, or the shops at La Cantera. The pool setup was great for our group and very well taken care of. The kitchen has all the basics, if you plan on cooking bring spices with you.

Stressed out stay!

The home has been divided into 2 or 3 other spaces which left no bathroom downstairs! Different spaces aren't marked so I opened a door that was to the owners quarters and add said we would be alone. We realized at night that the front living room window was completely missing! It was a long window anyone of the street could have walked right in! Spent the next day of my vacation dealing with owner who did not reimburse me anything for my troubles. The pool water was so low it was sucking air so I filled it so the pump wouldn't burn up. It was creepy and dirty and fire grill was disgusting. They were argumentative and accusing and I'm there with only women and 2 teens with no window and didn't appreciate being put in danger.

Perfect Location

The location was perfect, really close to shopping and about 15 minutes from downtown area. Lots of shopping within 5 minutes. The home was spacious and had a wonderful backyard pool area and comfy outdoor seating. My kids loved being outside. Daniel was responsive and helpful. We had an issue with the A/C but he was quick to get someone to come out and fix it.

Unsanitary, toilet upstairs only, safety concerns

One of the mattress covers had a dirty smear (of what looked like human feces) on it. We a huge roach inside and a dead roach in the dish detergent bin. There were zero restrooms on the 1st floor which impacted some of our family members with more limited mobility. There is a remnant that shared the property, although the spaces are separated, a man living on property was not disclosed. The key less door entry code is easily figured out and some windows do not lock. When I raised these matters to the owner, he didn’t even respond. He could have apologized or at least pretended that he would look into the items - but instead did not even reply. The house has some great features but the description was not detailed enough. It doesn’t even indicate which rooms are upstairs.

Family get together

This was the first time experience for me and my family and I wasn't disappointed very nice neighborhood and close to Sea World and Fiesta Texas also a variety of restaurants in the area. The landlord was great and was easy to contact through messages on app over all would stay again. Thanks for everything.

This was a fun house that was able to easily accommodate all of us. The pool was a blast, the house was clean, and the manager was easy to get a hold of.

Take the good with the bad

Our stay was good. First day the battery on the front door was dead so we lost a day of activity waiting for someone to come and change the battery, otherwise we would not be able to get back in. Second night someone was roaming through the backyard after we went to bed. Third afternoon, the pool guy came to clean the pool and left the waterhose in the pool running, and he entered the house and left the back door unsecured. Day four went to the park, came back lights off for a while, then when lights came back on, we had not internet for the tv. We spent the rest of the evening talking to some company that handles the internt. We finally got internet around 9:30 (bedtime). All the children enjoyed the pool and the games and the lesson of having to deal with life problems as they come. I would stay here again!!!!!

Upsetting

There is a tenant living in an attached part of the house. The house regularly smelt like pot and cigarettes from these tenants. You could also hear them in the middle of the night talking and slamming doors. The house wasnt clean. We found bugs, candy wrappers, other people's clothing under beds, etc. The ceiling fan was caked in dust. Half the lights were out on the main level. There was a large pile of puke in the yard. The pool was freezing and dirty. The pictures made the house look much cleaner and larger than it really is in person. Overall we were pretty bummed by the experience. We did communicate this with the management company and they were responsive but at that point it was just too late.

Problematic

At check in the house was not ready. The cleaning crew was still working. The game room is is really two games in the living room and the controls on one of them doesn't work. The pool, which was the main draw, had to be repaired from the last guests putting holes in the liner, so my kids got about two hours to use it, first because it was under repair.and then because the weather turned cold. The dishwasher was clogged and breeding insects, which the owner was aware of and had not told us. The toilet in the guest bathroom leaked at the base and had to be repaired. During our stay, we learned the freezer wasn't working properly and we had to throw out food. When we reported it, we were told they need a new refrigerator, again a problem we weren't told about ahead of time. The house is a duplex and we smelled cigarette smoke coming through the vents - not sure if it was the tenants from the other part of the house or if the air filters are dirty. Other small details we noticed were loose brackets, old bed frames, slow draining tubs and broken closet doors. We will remember these things and the money we lost before anything nice about our stay in the house.
